1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scams on: June 10, 2018, 03:43:57 AM
Is there a possibility of a scam if my tokens have no value for 2 months? I already have the tokens for 2.5 months and they keep telling us that listing is a laborious thing to do. Is that a normal thing to happen when your coin doesn't have any value for 2.5 months now?
Other altcoins or token takes a year before it makes a good value. 2.5 months is still on infant stage and I think it didn't even added in any trading platform. Adding in trading platform is also a long process, it has many requirements that the developer needs to be accomplish before it get listed in a reputable exchange.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple will be great again on: June 09, 2018, 05:45:33 PM
On the macro side, there are a number of positive developments that have helped push the popularity of the cryptocurrency up.  Ripple has been working on a deal with the Bank of America, the latest institution to jump into the cryptocurrency market.

Ripple has a number of bank partnerships, including Santander and Master Card that have elevated the cryptocurrency in the minds of retail investors...

Ripple (XRP.X) price prediction: what to expect?

I believe Ripple will bull again!!!
I'm just wondering why until now the banks are not using Ripple as an instrument for their daily transaction. It's been years since they brag many banks that is in partnership with Ripple but until now not a single bank use it.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC for Airdrops: A bad precedence on: June 09, 2018, 02:54:25 AM
I have recently seen where bounty hunters were asked to present identifying documents.  Am really against kyc because one of the reasons I joined crypto was the anonymity which it provides. But sadly that's gently creeping away.

Now this KYC has come into airdrops. Imagine am to submit my ID to some I don't know which planet he or she or they are from for some pennies worth tokens.

It's terrible and this is a bad precedence these people are setting.

If as a community we do not say no to this,  then it would become the norm.
Only an idiot will give their real personal identity in airdrop. I think others don't really use their identity, instead they buy personal information in darkweb to use it online like airdrop and any KYC requirements  purposes.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Companies Ready for a Decentralized Future? on: June 08, 2018, 02:23:44 PM
Survey results presented by Deloitte during the recent Consensus event show that corporations are changing momentum and opting to explore the possibility of blockchain to build practical business applications. According to the survey, 74% of large firms see a compelling business case for this dynamic technology.

The survey was conducted between March and April of this year in seven countries including France, Canada, China and the US. Find out what the survey had to say!

Read the article here : https://coinfrenzy.io/are-companies-ready-for-a-decentralized-future/
I think they are not yet ready but even if they don't, they need to adopt it if they want to be ahead in the competition. Those companies needs blockcchain technology to be efficient on their transaction.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy or not Cardano? on: June 08, 2018, 01:51:31 AM
Many investors are now flocking to Cardano, recently. Please, tell me some your own reasons to buy or not to buy ADA (Cardano)?

It is a good  to buy because it is cheap yet. They are waiting for the update and once it announced, there is no going back for its price. It is also one of the contender of Ethereum.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you predict coins will be stable again? on: June 06, 2018, 08:51:14 AM
In your opinion when do you predict alt coins will be stable again?
There is no one can predict the stability of altcoins because fiat currency today is already available in trading platform like Bittrex. The whales have more options to diversify their portfolio whether to Bitcoin or $ currency unlike before that whales have no choice but to sell their altcoins to Bitcoin and convert it to $.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if this happened? on: June 05, 2018, 03:38:48 AM
Hi all

What if this happened?  In this year

1 viu = 1$
1 universa = 1$

Become rich? Cheesy
Tell me what you think

* At this moment 1 viu = <0.01$ & 1 universa  = 0.018$

With that huge supply maybe it could reach $1 fifty years from now. I was just exaggerating, in reality it will be hard for those coin to reach $1 because they don't have any proven product that could push the price higher.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Role of bitcointalk profile rank on: June 01, 2018, 05:10:12 AM
Does bitcointalk Forum rank really matter 's for signature bounty campaigns and what are the links between "Merits" and "bitcointalk forum rank" ?
Yes rank in bitcointalk really matter in signature campaign
because the higher the rank the higher the stakes or the reward. You  can check the  rules in Meta or simply search it in a search option.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the impact to Crypto Market if we meet global crisis again? on: May 31, 2018, 03:47:21 PM
Could anyone help to analyse what's the impact to crypto market if we meet global crisis again this year or next year? In the situation that the crisis will be even larger than 2008.
As is known in 2008, the global economy meets liquidity problem, hedge funds and banks sold their positions to get money.
So if we meet crisis, shall we assume that these institutions/individuals will get money back from crypto market first?

The only winner if there will be a global crisis is gold and silver because it is the oldest currency ever built. Cryptocurrency and fiat currency will be affected but I think cryptocurrency will survive it.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The bitcoin complainers on: May 31, 2018, 03:12:36 PM
I feel sorry for those who lost and those who let their emotion conquer themselves. I think it will be a good lesson for them that they should not let their emotion decide when they invest in crypto.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still did not get bounty rewards? on: May 30, 2018, 02:14:45 PM
Yes this is my questions among all bounty hunters. In my 4 months on doing bounty i campaign i have promoted 2 ICO's already and the first one still counting the stakes and still working on the distribution of the tokens. Some had receive already and i thought about receiving too but until now no tokens found in my digital wallet even after searching it on etherscan if there are relatively made a transaction to my digital wallet address and there is none. I have gave my effort and quality time for them to promote their project that includes also the resources being used like internet connection fee and the electricity are all wasted for the project i guess. I think this could be my last project to promote and if i still will not get any rewards then quitting is an option.
There are many reason why you didn't receive the stake. Its either the distribution is not yet finish or you didn't follow the rules and instruction carefully. Others usually disqualified because they didn't join on telegram or you are disqualified for not verifying KYC if it's applicable.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poloniex !!! on: May 30, 2018, 06:33:36 AM
The Poloniex exchange in December of last year obliged all users to pass verification. And it seems that today its deadline. Many users have frozen accounts. Some users complain incorrectly display the number of coins in the wallet. The service desk, of course, is silent.
Have you managed to withdraw money or something was given to the new owners of the exchange? Sad

https://cointelegraph.com/news/poloniex-crypto-exchange-users-claim-accounts-frozen-after-id-policy-update
I already withdraw all my altcoin in Poloniex since they change their policy and transfer to Binance. Poloniex have a very slow customer service and the fee is so much high not to mention that you can only withdraw a few bitcoin and altcoin.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it bad for altcoin that BTC is dropping on: May 29, 2018, 07:58:13 AM
Bitcoin price is constantly dropping for the last several days. What effects are putting it on Altcoins ? Is it bad or good ?
Bitcoin price has an effect with altcoins because they are all dependent in Bitcoin. If Bitcoin dump severely expect that there is also a dump in altcoins because fiat currency has now a role in trading compared before that bitcoin and altcoin pairing only.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Quit your job to promote bounty campaigns fulltime: unrealistic???? on: May 28, 2018, 03:40:38 PM
Last night I had a discussion with a friend if it's possible to quit your job and make a fulltime living of promoting bounty campaigns.
My friend thought you need to promote a lot of bounties at the same time (100 per week), to compensate for the
uncertain number of bounties that will never to lead to any income (coin cannot get listed, withdrawal fees of exchange is too high, scam, etc.).

So the question is: do you agree with this statement?
I think it is not a good idea to quit your job for the sake of bounty campaign unless you are a campaign manager. I'm just wondering how can you manage 100 bounties a week because I believe you can only join a campaign once and it is prohibited to join in other campaign if you are already participating in one project.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes a altcoin valuable on: May 28, 2018, 01:39:28 PM
I'm developing an altcoin that is based on social sharing. What foundational technologies are going to make it the most valuable? What makes an altcoin valuable? I'm wondering if it is just how much people hear about it? Thoughts?

It will be more valuable if the idea is unique. It should be useful for the user and wide range coverage. If possible there is already a working product that you can introduce, the better.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coins will you buy during this dip ? on: May 24, 2018, 02:29:09 PM
We never know when the dip is over. But buying NEO right now for 57$ is a great buy. So i looking to add some more later today. Other coins that i might add is WTC,OMG and ICX.
I agree that  NEO is on of the best buy in the market today. Its been long since NEO became silent and maintain the price at 0.0065-0.0075 satoshi. I think it is worth investing today and make a handsome profit by December.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrity Bitcoin owners? on: May 24, 2018, 06:23:16 AM
How many celebrities or high profile individuals do you know of that owns and support Bitcoin? I think if we can get some high profile users, we

might get some good exposure going forward. When Playboy started out, they realized that they should start the magazine with a BANG, so they

bought nude pictures of the most well known person in the world at the time and put her on the front page. <--- Marilyn Monroe ... This put them

on the map and they built a global empire.

Who will be our Marilyn Monroe?

So far we have had some high profile users like Mike Tyson and Ashton Kutcher, but we need a globally recognized ambassador for Bitcoin... our

very own, Marilyn Monroe.  Grin

I read in one of article that Manny Paquiao is planning to make his own token called "Pac Coin". I'm not sure what is the feature of the coin but I think it is a good sign that crypto willdominate the market.

18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High taxation risk - India on: May 23, 2018, 02:36:26 PM
I know that official regulations by the government can help to legitimate crypto. However, in India they want to apply a 18% taxation, I think is too much, and investing can be demotivating.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/india-considers-taxing-cryptocurrency-at-18-as-intangible-property-reports

Would you feel more skeptical if you country apply such taxation as well? Or would you be happy because they legitimating crypto ?
India is a corrupt country, I won't be surprise if they do that. Remember that one of a good feature of blockchain technology is about transparency and you don't expect a corrupt  official to agree with this new technology. They will use all their power and their connections to limit the use of crypto.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $500 million go missing in largest cryptocurrency hack ever - News on: May 22, 2018, 10:36:49 PM
Japanese cryptocurrency exchange Coincheck has confirmed it lost about $524 million after suffering a hack which stole 500 million NEM tokens, said to be the biggest cryptocurrency hack ever. NEM, the 10th-largest cryptocurrency by market value, fell 11% over a 24-hour period following the hack. The previous largest theft was pegged at $450 million in 2014 from a Tokyo-based exchange.

Shocking news huh? This will affect badly for the Crypto world. Are these hackers unstoppable ? I am worried all my coins are in exchanges, not in hardware wallets, Exchanges are really not safe, This news confirms it again.
It is the exchange fault and not the NEM coin. The exchange didn't put XEM in a cold storage which is a basic protocol of every exchange in the market. That is why you must do a habit not to put all your holding in an exchange if you don't want to get lost all your  investment.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Listening To False News... on: May 22, 2018, 01:57:04 PM
I don't focus too much on bad new specially with bitcoin because I seldom trade bitcoin to fiat. I am more concern on altcoin news because itaffect my portfolio and my trading activities.
