I nominate the Developer of Peercoin, Sunny King.

+1 Sunny King. If Satoshi is the Crypto God, then Sunny King is crypto Jesus.

PPC hasnt been doing well lately...

PPC has big things coming. Most of the focus has been on development lately. Check this page to see just some of the projects being worked on. Lots of cryptos have been doing poorly. Patience is needed.

It's only a matter of time. We just need patience.

And, erveryone, please don't just wait. Andbody can help for Peercoin, by bumping a thread, talking to a friend, forwarding an article and so on.

It's only a little effort, but help a lot for Peercoin and true valuable coin.

1209  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: GHash is at 48% WTF on: June 11, 2014, 03:26:32 AM
How does buying peercoin fix the 51% issue?

I mean Peercoin's innovation PoS, its capability can prevent 51% much more than PoW.
1210  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: GHash is at 48% WTF on: June 09, 2014, 06:25:56 AM
You all know the shit, why don't you guys buy peercoin?
1211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin still Decentralized Currency? on: June 06, 2014, 03:13:48 AM
I am very, very, very much shocked when I read this: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/279sex/ghashio_double_spending/

I really need to think about that, to sell my Bitcoin for Peercoin. I've bought some Peercoin when I found out the problems of PoW. PoS is innovation of Peercoin, and Peercoin really did a good job in last 2 years.

I still will hold some bitcoins, because I believe bitcoin can fix this by using PoS sometime in the future. And Peercoin community will help.

And read this: http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/279sex/ghashio_double_spending/

I am confused.
1213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin still Decentralized Currency? on: June 04, 2014, 04:14:19 AM
Of course it is. No one controls it and it can't be destroyed. The concentration of hash rate in one country is something that might need to be addressed in the future but the currency functions just fine.

I cannot agree. This time "People in that room represented over 50% of the world’s bitcoin miner production". How about next time? 75%?

If "People in that room" make a decision to do short for bitcoin, and they may hold short on exchanges, what can we do?

Like I said the concentration of hashing power in one country might be something that needs to be addressed but mining is only half the game. Also they can't really do much with it other than mine coins. It would take a huge effort to coordinate them to do something nefarious.

Chinese exchanges have been effecting price for a while now. If they all decide to short the price would adjust. To damage bit coin runs counter to their interests.

Do you know the margin trading on Bitfinex? Do you know the future trading of bitcoin? And if some big players have just sold out in high price?

I have to say, there's many ways to benefit from shorting the price.

I read this report on coindesk. http://www.coindesk.com/private-china-meeting-bitcoin-mining-industry-leaders/

This is the question: Is Bitcoin still Decentralized? Or just like some people represent Federal Reserve of Bitcoin? So why merchant accepts Bitcoin and put their money in risk of New Federal Reserve?

PoS, Proof of Stake, has been brought to the world by Peercoin(PPC) almost 2 years. How many people think about this?

What's your opinion?

Great!

Do you know the progress android wallet?
1217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Proof of Stake System is the Most Viable on: June 01, 2014, 03:01:31 AM
Of course, Peercoin has the best PoS technology. NXT learn a lot from Peercoin, even they use java, but the scenario is very important.

PoS is the innovation of Peercoin, that's the core value. For 2 years operating, Peercoin is very stable and make people believe it is worth of holding. NXT and DPOS still need time to prove their stability.

For NXT, I have to say, you buy then you raise the price for IPO holders. Big IPO holders raise up the price and spend lots of money to advertise NXT, they just want to find more to buy their NXT in high price from them.

Fair distribution of coins are very important, don't forget this is currency.

Quick update for all UKYO's loan holders or We exchange Users.

I am still negotiating the hourly rate with my lawyer. but below are some information for you if you want to join to my lawsuit against Ukyo. I still think that lawsuit against UKYO is still the only hope you can have a chance to know what going on there and received possible pay back from Ukyo .

1: people who joint my lawsuit will need to send some deposit to the lawyer. I will gives you his bank account detail, and also you can contact him to find out what happening there. before you send the money to the lawyer ,I will gives you all his personal detail and contact detail.

2: all cost related to against Ukyo is calculate based on the percentage of how much UKYO owes you towards total liability that against Ukyo in this lawsuit case.
For example, if Ukyo owes me 100 BTC , and there are 1000 total liability in this lawsuit is against to UKYO. then I will respond for 10% of the total cost. of course, that I also will received 10% from what UKYO pays in the future.

3: all cost are calculate in USD , so for people who willing to join this case, you have to prepare some USD first.

4: if not convenience for you   to send USD directly to the Lawyer, it also possible you can send me BTC, then I will based on current conversion rate and help you to send the USD to the Lawyer. (if you trust me, but I do prefer that you send directly to the lawyer).

5: The final hourly rate still being negotiating , so is only receiving people who willing to join me at this moment by PM or Email to Mistake868@hotmail.com( once it been confirm and I will let you know the final rate, and you make your choice that either to join or not.)

6: Last call to joint this lawsuit is 20.04.2014, and also you will need to get you money to the Lawyers account before 30.04.2014. after that date , that Lawyer will star his work, so it is no reason to bothering him to further modify the agreement between us and him.

PS: If there are any unclear information that please do ask me, and however  forgive my poor English.

Kind Regard

Yuan Lu

If Ascension doesn't show up in several days, maybe that's the topic we need to talk.

The money comes out of what they are holding, after 6-12 months and all the chargebacks are collected they give you whats left if you have excessive amount they can extend it for up to 18 months, and he may end up owing money to the CC company.

I don't know US laws, does bank have to pay back when people charge back? Why they don't give seller opportunity to prove the honest transaction?
1220  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] btcQuick - Bitcoin Sales Service on: March 15, 2014, 03:50:58 AM
Credit card company due hold payment for 6-12 months for any charge backs. I know this for a fact cause I ran the same type of business and got burned that way.

Hello,

I have a question, do you have to pay back those chargebacks or you still have the money after 6~12month?
