Anyway, btcQuick is not Labcoin. I see their hard work and I appreciate their effort on running this business for themselves and investors. I feel very, very sorry to the upset situation.
When we get to the closure of this business. I suggest the following steps:
- Read the financial report and determine how many Bitcoins and USD at current time
- If the Bitcoins are under control, please return Bitcoins to investors a.s.a.p
- Wait for expiration of the hold period and determine what left in the account. I suggest btcQuick to provide poof of this holding.
- Return the left USD to investors by Bitcoin
Finally, thanks for btcQuick's hard work before. Wish you can have another business in BTC world and make big success!

Any update?? is that BTCQUICK going to seize its service? I have invested 100 BTC into this company, however, Is that nobody cares about it ? This is a lot money for me .....
I also invest lots of money in this company. Now, I feel hopeless for the future. If the law prohibits service, I think we'd better compensate investors based on what left. 2 Years for licensing is not acceptable because that would cost huge amount of money and lose all investors' investment. I don't think there is any law in the usa that outright prohibits there service but there may be quite some costs involved in getting licensed & registered as money transmitters in at least 43 of the states in the USA if the company &/or there servers is located in the USA. Where did the 2 year figure come from, i haven't seen btcQuick mention any such time-frame and they should be able to serve international customers(and probably us customers from 5 states) even if there not licensed in those 43 states that requires it for accepting customers from those states yet. If you're right, why it seems BQ is not operating? There must be some serious reason. I wanna support this company as before. But I need to know where is the hope and future. Regardless of hope and future, we have to talk about how to deal with shares and investment. |

yes I am writing a response to you (the last one until tomorrow around 15 o'clock).
Honestly if we would like to scam you then you will not see us anymore online. Then this would be the last post forever. The amount of direct investments is quite high even without any escrow money. If we would like to get everything well then we would have to deliver a product - and that is exactly what we are trying to do. I cannot guarantee that eXocoin will be a success (regarding what it's worth on an exchange or something) but I can tell you that we will not disappear and that we are going to release the whitepaper tomorrow.
The whitepaper will be something like a snapshot of what we actually really have programmed plus some features that are going to be integrated in the next days or weeks.
We are going to provide at least some screenshots (maybe a silent video or "open-alpha" in 1-2 weeks).
We see the whitepaper as a working paper. So we would like to request for comments on everything in it. We are going to rework the whitepaper with your response. Those questions you ask that are not answered in the whitepaper will be added as well then. Right now we are finishing the first version of the whitepaper. We are on-time for the release tomorrow. As of version 1.1 or 1.2 of the whitepaper (maybe in one week) we will add code snippets not only as proof but with request for comment as well if you like (especially about security concerns).

We are thinking of either making only a 2nd stage (1st stage and 2nd stage would get both 2,5 % from 3rd stage). That stage would start in about one week and would be open until the end of the open beta.
Also, we are thinking of shrinking the mail-giveaway part a bit. It depends on how many people will apply for this giveaway. Right now we have 500 applicants. While this is good it is not good enough if you compare it to the high amount of investments. If we do the math it turns out that (say we get 1000 applicants till the end) each of them would get 10,000 EXO. In comparision you might get (just a value that *could* be nearly true, I do not have an overview on how much coins Anon is holding right now) 10000 to 12000 EXO for 0.1 BTC investment. So we do not think that 0.1BTC investment with high risks match a simple email application!
We will see how many applicants there will be in some weeks.
Since those people who applied under the condition that they get a 10%block did not have any risks or costs we think it is acceptable to shrink that amount and add it to all IPO stages so that a mail application might match a 0.04 btc investment or lower.
We might consider shrinking the mining part as another option (5-10%).
To be honest (and I think you believe that) we did not expect to collect so many money. That is why our early spreading plan might not work the way it is.
With making only one more stage and monitoring how mail applies will rise or shrinking the mining part we want to ensure that investors will get a fair amount for their money.
As for now we will do the following:
Tomorrow after the release of the whitepaper we are going to catch up with *ALL* PM and mails (well not sure but I guess this takes the whole monday as well). While doing so we will update the early-bird investors list as well. Then we have a clean picture of the situation and maybe can start a vote on what you would like to do (shrink mining/mail, cross out one stage, cross out interest block etc or everything at once).
We are not going to answer any questions regarding the whitepaper until we have done this. Thereafter (from tuesday on maybe) we would like to make a discussion about the whitepaper as mentioned above.

I just don't see how this site will ever work. First the start with MiiCard which asks for crazy personal info. Now they don't accept checking.
So now you go to add a credit card. It asks for permission to make to small deposits to verify the card. Which it does looking at my CC webpage. Then go back to btQuck and guess what, there is no place to enter the amount of the two transactions!
Its like they want tis thing to fail in order to get as much personal info form you as possible, I'm guessing the are making more money selling private data than in BTC market..
I really hope I am wrong here..

From their performance of business, I don't expect any dividends in the whole January. They sold out Bitcoin only based on bank account payment. It means they need much more capital to meet the needs after recovering credit card. So if we want BQ to make more for us (shareholders), we'd better help them to increase capital. But I suggest BQ to issue monthly report in the future, the share holders need to know how much capital does BQ have and status of operation. |

Being able to purchase via credit card was btcQuick's Unique Selling Proposition.
Without it, I don't see ANY benefit over Coinbase: cost, reliability, service, speed, buying limits - all vastly in Coinbase's favor.

In those threads I pointed out you'll see people trying to contact them by any and all means without an answer. I personally wrote to them a few times at their website and by email without an answer, so I'm not to keen on trying a transaction.  Anyway, I'll pass your advice to the others and we'll see how that goes, thanks. It's really bad if you have problem without response. I had same situation on other websites, so I know your feeling. Now is a critical time for btcquick as they need to recover credit card payment processor. I think btcquick focus on the recover and don't have much time to do support. |
