never saw an october progress update

september was lucrative

I think they are very busy as other bitcoiner business. The is a key time for lots of bitcoiners.
1282  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bit Funder] [btcquick] [Rising profits] on: October 23, 2013, 02:30:25 PM
What will be in case if BTCquick can't sell Bitcoins? What will be with shares on bitunder? They will be refunded?

This is only sell Bitcoins, not exchange service like assets exchange platform. You can sell lots of stuff on internet, sb. even sell Bitcoin on ebay or amazon. So the legal issue of selling bitcoin should not be a big issue.

But I think just this concern makes lots of people panic, or else others wouldn't have  such a good opportunity to buy shares at such a low price.

Profit and risk exist together, usually the higher risk the higher profit. People have to make choice by themselves.

The legal issue is releasing unregistered security to a lot of unaccredited investors. If the company is 100% privately invested, like coinbase, it will be much safer.

Do you think btcquick need a MSB to operate?

Ok, well the 1st of November will be coming up pretty quick. Do we have any ideas on what will happen for US shareholders? I think this should be addressed very soon before the share price tanks any further.

Look at the trading history and ask orders, it shows that US investors sold shares panic. There are not many ask shares, but large trading are just "sell" order. I don't know what could happen in the future, but I think it's worth of holding at this price even the trading will not be available. The dividends are good enough to hold those shares.
1285  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bit Funder] [btcquick] [Rising profits] on: October 18, 2013, 02:56:06 AM
Having all the legal opinions in the world won't stop btcquick getting shutdown it might keep the owner out of jail but thats about it.
Are you suggesting that in that case the owner should just risk getting to jail, instead?

I think he's just reminding us the risk of this company. The lawyer may save the person, but not necessary the company.

But is it risky if the company only issues shares to non-US residents?

It does not matter where the shares are issued, the company is based in the USA therefore we fall under the laws of the land.

Could you please introduce the legal issues btcquick may risk?
1286  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder][BTCT.co] - KENILWORTH - Real World Mining Opportunity with Bitcoins on: October 15, 2013, 03:29:51 PM
I also hold their shares, and waiting for the solution.
Solution Smiley
Also a reminder that Patrick Prendergast will be holding a webinar on the 1st October

The listed page has a form for people to fill in - I hope you are subsequently going to ask them to transfer their shares to you before you give out shares on Bitfunder.  Otherwise people can claim their shares then transfer them to someone else (or sell them on the market).

Deprived, Do you know the issuer of Kenilworth? I am trying to contact to them, but not get response yet.
1287  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder][BTCT.co] - KENILWORTH - Real World Mining Opportunity with Bitcoins on: October 14, 2013, 07:35:52 AM
I think there need to be some updates from Kenilworth on this, how the transferring of shares process goes, if there will be options with direct shares(for other than the big majority owners) or if there might be an option with listing and transferring shares to another exchange like Havelock or maby even Cryptostocks as an alternative for those that will not be able to continue trading on Bitfunder.

+1

I need updates of transfer of my shares. Please update.
1288  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bit Funder] [btcquick] [Rising profits] on: October 11, 2013, 01:09:47 PM
So i just saw

$132,824.03! Number of orders so far this month 736 - as of yesterday

At this rate BTCQUICK should do $400,000 in sales by the end of the month,

people are over reacting with the biutfunder news, the share price shouldn;t be this low

How  do you know the numbers?
1289  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 30, 2013, 02:31:36 PM
This thing is going below .00001 before october 6th

This is happening today!

there are milions of unsold shares
people will go crazy in few hours

take cheap shares !!!

0.0002 is certainly NOT cheap.

If they can buyback by 1/5 of IPO price, this is recovered. So it is cheap. We should know that they've earned a lot from these shares. They can easily buyback the share based on market price. But now we need to find them.
1290  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Virtual Community Exchange [WINDING DOWN] on: September 30, 2013, 03:41:07 AM
Dear Investors and Security Issuers,

As some of you may be aware a collective of security issuers and interested parties have banded together to attempt to purchase Burnside's code so that we can continue to operate the exchange, although perhaps under a different name and likely with some restrictions. If you are a security issuer please join the conversation on the recovery board (in the litecoin forum).

I am urging all security issuers not to make rushed decisions to move to a new exchange right now! Unfortunately some of you have gone to CryptoStocks.com already, which from what I can see is technically inferior and has near-zero liquidity (there are also some oddities like why VirCurEx has not paid dividends there for ages).

At CipherMine we are developing a simple tool to allow an issuer to import the .csv from a shareholder report and use that to distribute a dividend payment manually (ie. you just enter the amount and it sends that much to the shareholders). We intend to give this away to all of you for free.

BTC Trading Co does not shut down entirely for a month yet. You will be able to use the mechanisms there to distribute dividends in the mean time, and then you will still be able to with our tool or something similar.

It is the hope of our collective that we can have something operational within the next couple of months, so hopefully there would only be a short period of time where your securities were illiquid (barring manual trades of course).

To Shareholders, I cannot speak for all but most of us issuers intend to do the Right Thing and are making efforts, including committing significant personal resources, to try to look after you all.

In the mean time, please everyone hang in there and don't make panicked decisions! We will keep you posted as to developments.

Kate.

Burnside, can you comment on these developments?

I'm pretty sure that we can sell assets as long as they are used in a legal manner and we do not sell them as an ongoing concern.  This is why no sale can complete prior to shutdown, and the domains, database content, and my involvement cannot be included.

My thoughts are that we should have a silent auction for the site code, with a proportional portion of the purchase price able to be paid in LTC-GLOBAL revenue shares.  For example, if you own 10% of the shares, you would get a 10% discount.  I likely would apply a multiplier though, such that if you owned 10% of the shares, you'd get a discount equal to 3x that percentage, or something similar, thus diluting my own shares to the benefit of the other revenue shareholders.

I am aware that some of the existing LTC-GLOBAL revenue shareholders would prefer first right of refusal, but I do not believe that such an arrangement would be fair for other revenue shareholders that are not part of the deal because an alternate offer could come in for 2x more, and revenue shareholders that cannot be involved in the deal going forward (US residents) would not receive a fair value.  It is my opinion that giving a discount/credit toward the purchase price is the best compromise available.

Given the limitations at hand, I am open to alternate suggestions.

Cheers.

Burnside, I don't think it's a good idea to give discount for shareholders because lots of them may not involved in purchasing the code. But I think you can distribute the sold money to all shareholders proportionally. This is more fair and reasonable.
1291  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: *** btcQuick - Buy Bitcoins w/ Credit or Debit Card (Bank Acc Coming Soon)*** on: September 30, 2013, 03:27:15 AM
The second half of Sept.2013,  sales grows 20% than the first half. This is a big growth of Btcquick. Share price will be doubled soon. This is the best investment I've made.

Thank you for your comments.
- Correct, bridging onto BitFunder will commence once trading has stopped on BTCT as per the statement made by Ethan:

    • October 7, 2013, all forms of secondary market trading will be halted on both sites.
    - The verification process is in place so as no share will be duplicated.

    Note:
Thank you, to all the Kenilworth shareholders that have submitted on the forum to date.
Everything is moving along "smoothly" under the circumstances.

Hello, I have Kenilworth on BTCT. But I haven't fill in your form because I don't how many shares I will have on 7th Oct. 2013. I am still selling my shares.

Could you figure out what should I do if I am not sure how many shares will be left?[/list]
    1293  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Nasty-PT 100 shares = 1 Nasty Fans seat - Closing on: September 28, 2013, 08:50:33 AM
I only have 166 shares now. I just want to cash out? Is that possible? 166 shares is not worth of opening an account an by 1 seat, isn't it?

All shares that are not transferred will eventually be cashed out, but this option may take some time.

As far as opening an account, that is a decision you will have to make for yourself.
If you do, you can transfer 100 shares into a seat. Or you can buy more shares to get to the next hundred to get another seat. It depends on if you want to invest in Nasty Fans or not.

Thank you for your response. Could you estimate how long it takes for cash out?
    1294  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Nasty-PT 100 shares = 1 Nasty Fans seat - Closing on: September 28, 2013, 01:42:57 AM
I am surprised that no one has any questions. I guess my FAQs have answered every question anyone has had. And thank you for actually reading it!  Grin

I have received a number of transfer requests--which is great. I haven't responded to them individually because there are so many.

I will begin the transfer process after Dividends are paid. That way you can collect, and then get your Nasty Fans seats. Usually, dividends are paid on Monday, but I'm going to speed things up and pay them today.

As I have said, I have a number of requests and will begin processing them. Please bare with me as this is a completely manual process and each request must be handled individually.
If you have submitted a request by the end of  Saturday 28, September (UTC) and have not had a response from me by the end of Wednesday, please send a gentle reminder.

If you have not sent a request in yet, don't worry. You still have time.

Trading will continue until the exchange halts all trades. At that time, I would strongly encourage anyone with over 100 shares to request a transfer to Nasty Fans.

I appreciate the comments that you have sent in your transfer requests. Your words of encouragement, thanks, and jokes brighten my day.

I only have 166 shares now. I just want to cash out? Is that possible? 166 shares is not worth of opening an account an by 1 seat, isn't it?

    1296  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Deprived Mining Speculation (DMS) on: September 25, 2013, 08:38:26 AM
Although I prefer re-listing, but it's not easy to change the contract and transfer to another platform. So maybe we have to close DMS.

Deprived, you mention you'll use the market price at your post time to give to Mining and Selling holders. Could you please figure out the number?

I think he will only provide that number is if it is deciede that DMS will close and only at that time. Otherwise it may affect the free market trading that is essential for this security. If DMS moves to another platform, there will probably be a redemption of pairs of M+S.

Mining is too cheap, this is good time for people to buy. But, if BTCT shut down and we have not migrated shares to other platform, then how do holders get dividends?

1299  Economy / Securities / Re: [Bit Funder] [btcquick] [Rising profits] on: September 03, 2013, 04:15:51 PM
Btcquick is running on the successful road. I am waiting for the price up to 0.02 per share soon. Good news for all investors, it's not too late to buy its shares.
    1300  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Deprived Mining Speculation (DMS) on: September 01, 2013, 02:50:34 PM
Look at the hashpower now, 825T/s. If the mining's price is higher than 0.0018, investors must/will lose. And also, selling don't have much profit rate now.

Network hashrate is back to ~575 TH/s, from 770TH/s a few hours ago - was there a lot of equipment turned on and then off, or just a lucky streak?

Fluctuations are really never due to equipment getting turned on and off

Dunno if that's true.  One rather cynical explanation is that drops occur when the less honest suppliers decide to stop private mining with ASICs paid for on pre-orders and finally send a batch out.

I suggest the manager issue DMS 2nd which have the mining shares with higher hash power. The is really a good product.
