341  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-26] Bitcoin ETF ‘Definitely Possible,’ SEC Commissioner Confirms on: November 26, 2018, 06:34:04 PM
It has kind of happened already in Switzerland so it's just a matter of time before in happens in the U.S and other countries. It's a shame that this dump happened now as the stability at $6500 was looking really good for helping to get that elusive ETF
342  Economy / Speculation / Re: bear and bull market theory on: November 25, 2018, 02:54:21 PM
I think it is safe to say we can kiss the sec approval goodbye. Shame as we were getting close this time around. Bitcoin cash was the start of this dump and hopefully their founders lost a hell of a lot. Bakkt is our next hope for recovery in Jan 2019
343  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin for Less Than $4000 - Welcome Everyone That Missed the Jamie Dimon Boat on: November 25, 2018, 02:48:59 PM
Not everyone is sad about this price drop. Many people are peeved about missing out on many boats so this is a good chance to jump in. I am certainly accumulating in a more intelligent manner, stocking up on less shitcoins and focusing on more profitable coins
344  Economy / Speculation / Re: There is something fishy in this correction.. on: November 25, 2018, 02:43:50 PM
I also noticed that this dump looked different, usually there is a rebound even a small one that gives people a bit of hope, even if it's just a dead cat bounce. However, this dump went all the way to the floor in practically a straight line. Must be a mega whale dumping hard, someone like mt gox
345  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-24] You may not actually own your Bitcoin - legal expert on: November 25, 2018, 02:32:10 PM
This is a very good point, there is no document to prove you actually own anything on the blockchain other than a password that gives you access to x amount of bitcoin. We should not be taxed or blocked from any kind of bitcoin transactions Grin
346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now or never! on: November 25, 2018, 02:28:00 PM
The miners are losing money now unless they have free electricity. This is why mining equipment is super cheap now. If anyone is planning to start a mining farm then now is the time to get second hand stuff on the cheap
347  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-21]Crypto Bear Market Continues With Top 3 Coins (BTC, ETH & XRP) in N on: November 24, 2018, 07:01:50 PM
There seems to be support above $4,000 so the psychological line is being held well. Normally a weekend will see big market moves either up or down, at the moment it is stable which is better than another dump
348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SPECTRECOIN | Anonymous Tx | Tor | Ring Signatures | Stealth on: November 24, 2018, 06:59:22 PM
Has XSPEC been accepted anywhere as a form of payment? After 2 years one would expect a marketplace big or small to list spectrecoin as an acceptable currency, otherwise it will not be able to to compete with other privacy coins (or any coin)

Spectre doesn't believe in marketing. Magically markets are going to add them as a payment method you will see  Roll Eyes

So basically, after 2 years spectrecoin it is still just a coin with a privacy wallet. Bit disappointing really, i would expect new management to push and establish more real world usage
349  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-23] Bitcoin Miners Ruined by Downturn, “Selling Hardware by the Pound”; on: November 24, 2018, 06:56:04 PM
Bitmain needs to create something more mining efficient, or people simply need to switch operations to use a cheaper form of energy. If they are willing to invest in a renewable form of energy then mining costs will be minimal.
350  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-23]ICE's Bakkt Suspends Bitcoin Futures Roll Out on: November 24, 2018, 06:48:43 PM
It's a smart business move by them to delay it, no-one is interested in bitcoin right now when the markets are all red. People only join when the markets are high and pumping, only the smart 'idiots' will invest now and profit later
351  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-23] The assassination of Bitcoin on: November 24, 2018, 06:45:29 PM
The bitcoin attack came from multiple assassins, the biggest one of course being bitcoincash. If not for their idiotness bitcoin would be stable, and the ETF will probably succeed leading to a nice bullrun
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: your favorite Exchange (without KYC/Verification) on: November 24, 2018, 02:42:40 PM
There are many where u dont need KYC if the withdrawable amount is not higher to 2-3 btc value in a day or week. u can very well trade on Crytopia, Gate.io, Bittrex, Bitfinex, wex.nz, hotbit, Kucoin. All these are centralized exchanges where u can open and trade without KYC being compulsory.

Are you sure that gate.io does not require KYC? I read in many places that to make a withdrawal you need to go through the KYC process of uploading your passport detail etc. I don't know if there is a maximum withdrawal before the process kicks in though
353  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-13] Hackers Demand $6.3 Million in Bitcoin From Malaysian Media Giant on: November 18, 2018, 02:52:50 PM
I am also surprised that they are demanding. With those type of skills you would think they would know that bitcoin is traceable and that they should demand payment in ZCASH or MONERO instead. Perhaps they already have a bitcoin buyer ready to go
354  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-17]Crypto Miners Suddenly Fled Swedish County After Facing Heavy Burden on: November 18, 2018, 02:48:07 PM
This could be a worrying new trend where people rent a place or start a new company, mine like crazy, and then dump it and run. In a bear market where bitcoin prices are plummeting it's hard to pay the rent + electric bills
355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [Token] FarmaTrust TDE reached Hardcap on: November 18, 2018, 02:42:25 PM
According ICODrops their ICO price was as 1 FTT = 0.0500 USD, and now price trading in just 0,0028 usd? Its in 17 times below ICO price?  Shocked

Nothing to worry about, it happens a lot during a bear market. What is rare is that a project reaches the hardcap which proves that there is a lot of confidence in this project. After listing in some good exchanges like coinbene we should see it go well above the ICO price

357  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-16] Binance the Latest Exchange to List Goldman Sachs-Backed USDC on: November 17, 2018, 11:18:46 AM
Do we really need all of these stable coins backed to the US dollar? It is great to have competition for tether but now we have USDT TSD gemini and others as well. We just need something that works, and does anyone even trust these investment bankers?
358  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-16]Why Did Crypto Market Experience a $27 Billion Wipeout? on: November 17, 2018, 11:16:10 AM
Whales like to find an excuse to manipulate the markets, this bitcoin cash fork was the perfect opportunity. Lots of confusion, and 2 very high profile people leading the way. Sheep followed the panic sellers, and now market has fallen. A sharp pump will probably follow soon
359  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-07] Analysis:US seized nearly 200000 bitcoins to date, 453,000 globally on: November 12, 2018, 07:16:59 PM
The US government should start to hoard bitcoins as it s going to be the only way they they can repay the national debt. Some articles say that it will go up by a trillion dollars per year, only bitcoin can save them now
360  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-11-07] Three Thai Siblings Accused of $24m Bitcoin Scam Plead ‘Not Guilty’ on: November 12, 2018, 07:11:22 PM
Proving the source of funds for property transactions is always going to be the sticking point for crypto. Proving that the money isn't laundered is a tricky one, unless they use monero which is fungible and can't be traced - although that might make it worse
