I am not Bryce Weiner. Sorry to disappoint after so much research.
Whatever your problem is with these people and their schemes, they were never part of the Zetacoin dev team, they acted on they own initiative.
The question is not our problems but rather do YOU have a problem with it? As the creator of Zetacoin you should be condemning their actions that have tainted the name of it. You sat silent for months while the Zbad crooks were fleecing investors left and right and did nothing. You could have stepped in and said something because I just find it hard to believe this crew who practically WORSHIPPED your coin (at least pretended to) did not do anything to reach out to the actual creator and inform them of their plans or try to sucker him too. Either you were in on the scam too or you got hosed like the rest of us, there is no middle ground. Yes of course I condemn anyone trying to be dishonest, whether in the cryptocurrency world or outside. But hindsight is 20-20. At the time I knew what I gathered from the occasional tweet I read. I didn't follow it closely as I was and still am more interested in the technical side of crypto. Always be wary of anonymous people with big promises on the internet, especially in the crypto-world. |

what makes this coin special?  quick transactions?? deathcoin in 6 months? It's an old coin, before your time, before the time when coins needed gimmicks like PoD, MasterNodes, stealth engines, or whatever useless feature of the month currently is en vogue. It was the first coin to have a sharply decreasing reward, without ending up at a zero reward. It was one of the first coins, if not the first, to do proper difficulty adjusment. Zetacoin has not forked once to change the difficulty algo. This was before absurdly named things like "Kimoto Gravity Well", which are just over-complicated incarnations of Zetacoin's difficulty adjusment. It was one of the first coins to upgrade to the Bitcoin 0.9 code base. It is on many of the big exchanges around the world, etc. etc. etc. So yeah, Zetacoin was here before your time, and will probably still be here when you leave. |

zet network is not very strong right now. Uno is looking for coins to merge. Zet is being discussed on the uno thread. Is merging ZET with UNO an option for ZET-community? Would probably need to sacrifice the 30s-blocks but would ensure survival and increase network security. I thought i start a little discussion. What's your take on it? Any thoughts on merge mining with Unobtanium?
haha - same moment  It could be a win for both coins. I don't think Uno supports AuxPow for merge mining at the moment, is this being planned? |

Zetacoin seems like its really moving forward. Making huge steps lately. They are not too active in here as said, but they achieve more then 98% of the coins on here  Yea I wouldn't call it moving forward, what is this new 9.2.2 wallet that has seemingly stolen 80 zetacoins from me Where is the 9.2.2 link? Thanks. there is no zetacoin-qt.exe in the files, it has something else I guess we are supposed to do. I guess now if you want to use the zetacoin wallet you must first learn how to code a coin with a wallet, cause I am not that advanced so i could not get them to work. I Need a zetacoin-qt.exe for me to get it to function, I am still using the 9.2.1 beta. The latest Windows build is 0.9.2.1. Release 0.9.2.2 is only a checkpoint update in Github, so it is not a required update. There are no Windows binaries for it. |

Isn't the transaction fee for zeta supposed to be 0.001 ?

Transaction fees can be set in the wallet options if you wish to set a minimum fee, otherwise transaction fees are based on the size of the transaction (number of inputs and outputs). Size based transactions can either be free or incur a small fee depending on its size. With the fast block generation of Zetacoin your transaction will almost always be picked up within one or two blocks, regardless of fee. |

Nice but ... 1. Wallet still ignores -datadir command (it is not possible to move datadir to let's say partition D:) 2. Wallet still ignores printtoconsole=1 over zetacoin.conf file (command prevents creation of and writting to debug.log file) 3. Text below all QR codes reads "bitcoin" 4.
