If you are trader - we need your help.
We start to testing our new platform, that will do deep analyse your trading, your profits, and it will give you all statistics in charts (it will be something like CoinTracking but totally free and more detailed).

So how you can help:
1. Go to your Poloniex account and choose in menu - "API keys"
2. "Create new key"
3. Disable trading and withdrawal
4. Send me to pm "secret" key

It is safe for you. We can't do anything with your account. It is will be like "only read".

And if you can give only API keys from your old account - no problem, it can be good also. We just need to check problems in calculations in our platform.

Thank you  Smiley
Thank you very much for the opportunity to use your free service! it's very convenient
1743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Airdrops. With its impact on value of coin, good time to sell? on: November 05, 2017, 09:31:51 PM
I'm hoping to get some advice from people with much experience trading airdropped tokens or coins.

Let's say a token/coin is about to distribute a big airdrop to many users, doesn't that usually mean that more people (those receiving the airdrop) will immediately sell their new token/coins and therefore cause negative movement of token/coin value? Given this, is it then best practice to SELL before airdrops are distributed?
you can never guess at the right time to sell these or other coins. It takes time and experience to learn how to feel the right moment!
1744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Splitting Bitcoin into Bitcoin Gold in Electrum wallet - how to? on: November 05, 2017, 09:30:46 PM
I have a very practical question:

I'd like to split the Bitcoins that I had prior to the Bitcoin Gold fork to collect my free Bitcoin Gold coins.
I'm using electrum 2.9.2, which claims to automatically detect different networks after a fork.

I currently can't seem to find this fork yet in electrum wallet (despite following their procedure). Am I doing something wrong, or am I just to early?

I'd like to dump my free BTG as soon as possible before the BTG price drops even further than it has.

Kr,
Sofien
he himself did not fully enter into this question and I hope that I will find an answer here on this question!

1746  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you research the company before participating in a bounty? on: November 04, 2017, 10:25:17 PM
Just wondering if this is something everyone does, and what questions you need answered before you are comfortable participating (and actively promoting) an ICO?
it's best to choose companies with reports, since they generously reward you for the work done! Do not be afraid of responsibility
1747  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: November 04, 2017, 10:23:15 PM
So in trading how do you deal with loss? For example you've invested in an alt and now it has fallen quite hard and you're on the brink of losing all your bitcoin you invested in it.
How do you actually deal with it? Do you wait and keep on waiting in hope that it will bounce back up and return your investment or you sell and get whatever left of your investment?

I try not to get upset and keep myself in hand, to believe that everything will be better and better than today

What your trading style for the new Crypto market ?
Because then it may be too late and not a single coin will be left for you and you will not be able to buy it and will enjoy its presence with you)
1752  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: YOUR TRADING STRATEGY on: November 03, 2017, 05:30:45 PM
Hello all,
I am starting to day-trade on the crypto market and I was wondering what was your strategy?
For now I am just starting, I use MA, S/R levels, Fibs and RSI mainly.
What about you?
My strategy is to take as much as possible out of this business and as quickly as possible
1753  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you see trading as fun and games? on: November 03, 2017, 05:27:49 PM
“One thing very good traders have is insight into themselves.” - Chris Tate

FUN AND GAMES
Recently Louise Bedford and I have been doing the Short Term Trading Magic seminars in a few places and it has been sometime since I did any form of presentation on a semi regular basis. As such it has been interesting to observe people as they work through various trading issues.

One of the things I have noted is that people take trading far too seriously and this is reflected in a form of desperation. Desperation is the antithesis of the state of mind you need to be in to trade effectively.

There is no deny that this is a phase everyone enters at some stage in their career but to be successful you need to move beyond this and begin to treat trading as the game that it is. Once I started treating trading as a game then it became so much easier on the soul and my results reflected this. I even have a t-shirt that says that the fewer fucks I give the more I make.

This is not to say that I am reckless but rather that I am in no way wedded to the outcome of any trade. At its core my life will not change if a trade or even a cluster of trades are winners or losers – they are simply not that important. When compared to real life, trading is nowhere near as important as people think it is.

It is often commented that children are better are learning new things than adults who seem set in their ways. I am not so certain that this is a reflection of any great cognitive superiority or plasticity that the young may have but rather a reflection of their willingness to be both wrong and to play. Young children have no ego therefore the mistakes that their play generate have no impact upon their sense of self-worth. As adults we lose this resilience because we believe that it is somehow catastrophic to our self-image if we do make mistakes.

But in trading your mistakes are your own – no one else can see them so you are insulated from the judgment of others. This isolation gives you the freedom to be wrong but the only thing you have to cope with is your own judgment.

Markets are a wonderful universes for exploration and for play. The presence of micro contracts in various instruments and online trading mean that you experiment very cheaply.

The price of admission to the fun park is much lower than it used to be and the number of rides has gone through the roof. It is a shame that more traders don’t view trading as little more than a theme park where you can play to your heart’s content and during the process of playing you learn much more than you would if you were consumed by seriousness and desperation.

More trading quotes are below:

“To my way of thinking trading is an internal endeavour – there is no external enemy who you can deceive or overpower since markets only exist in the most ephemeral way inside your head. Markets may appear to be physical constructs but they are largely an illusion, trading occurs inside your head where your own perceptions and distortions of reality influence your decision making.” – Chris Tate

“The one thing you shouldn't feel pressured about is trading. If you do feel that way, you probably need to take a step back and reassess. Pressured trade(r)s don't make good trade(r)s.” – Joe Ross

Maybe at this stage and yes, but in the future when I start investing in this business, I think it will not be up to jokes and games
1754  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do most people invest in wrong ICOs to lose money ? on: November 03, 2017, 05:23:59 PM
This board amazes me sometimes.

All the hyped ICOs are killing people - Bancor, Monaco etc and there is no self reflection.

People need to change the way they participate in projects.

All the rubbish needs to be shunned.

Sectors need to be chosen carefully, and projects thereafter.

REAL energy projects (i.e. NOT asset managers such as wepower, and NOT the pure solar/other renewable energy investment rubbish where crypto is just "added" to the process as a marketing tool) should be favoured, such as Grid+ and Prosume Energy.

Stop following people who have proven themselves useless.
Most often, due to their unpredictability and because of a great desire to quickly have round sums on their accounts
1755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin community does not like Ethereum. What are the reasons? on: November 03, 2017, 05:20:33 PM
Please provide constructive answers.
Thank you
And why should he like him? The strongest coin probably should behave like this))

I try not to hurry and believe that my coin will rise in price and I will not lose anything, and I would be able to get even more than I lost
1757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New month - new ICO on: November 02, 2017, 07:07:34 AM
I always try to focus on one projects per some time. I think quality is more important than quantity, so I prefer to find one ICO per one or two months.
In November i choose Confideal, and plant to invest some money in it.  I hope you know enough about this project, or at least read about it.

And now i need to find new project and start my investigation about it. So I ask you advice, what ico will start in December and in your opinion looks good?

Btw my research about Confideal I made during almost one month.
I think you're doing the right thing and choose one project, not several.this is the right strategy

1760  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to choose good coin!? on: October 29, 2017, 10:20:34 AM
Everyone says trading is easy, you have to pickup a good coin and then invest your money there..Will you guys, please tell me how I know it is a good coin or bad? What certain things I should check about that coin? What types of information helps me to know the coin is good?
It is necessary to devote a lot of time to this issue, because. if you make a mistake in buying coins, it will not be very good. Go to this issue very, very seriously!
