3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HOLD THE BtC on: March 11, 2018, 11:33:21 PM
I liked your story. It showed how indeed holding your BTC is a good strategy nowadays since the price is somehow rising. Back then I can say that if you invest, and hold on 'til now, with the right strategy you'll earn even more than what you invested on. I got BTCs myself, and I'm keeping them until the right time to exchange them for FIAT.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin will drop again? on: March 09, 2018, 12:44:54 AM
The market may be bloody, but it's still profitable with the right strategy. As for the price of bitcoin, there are many factors that contribute to it, some of them are the stability of the bitcoin network, media influence of bitcoin, and of course, the demand and supply of bitcoin in the market. There are many other factors that influence the price, but one thing's true, it's still unstable, but if you see the opportunity to profit, go for it.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regulation will lead to the fact that bitcoin will fall in price to $ 100 on: March 07, 2018, 01:51:30 PM
I guess he's not thinking of the fact that bitcoin/ cryptocurrencies are decentralized, thus unable to be regulated with a certain government. Other countries legalize bitcoin not to take control of it, but maintain its nature as decentralize, and let it help the economy of the country. Reaching $100 as its price isn't impossible to happen, but it's not also possible at the time being due to its state and demand on the market today.
6  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Should I get a hardware wallet ? on: March 07, 2018, 01:34:51 PM
Hardware wallets might be expensive, but it's the most secure wallet you can have to store your coins. Primarily, they're virus-proof (at least, that's what they claim), pin protected, and can support multiple cryptos in one wallet. So I'd say go for it. Ledger Nano S wallet is a cool wallet with the nifty mini LED screen on it. Security wise, it's safe to get you through.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: March - bullish month? on: March 07, 2018, 01:25:49 PM
Bitcoin won't stop rushing in this year, that's for sure. As the price slowly goes up after the big dip last year, I'd agree that it's rushing up lately. As the development of bitcoin continues each day, so is its investors, traders who primarily focuses on bitcoin. 2018 would be a great year for it indeed. Let's wait for the holidays for it to sky rocket more.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a bubble all year until end of october on: March 07, 2018, 04:35:44 AM
Well, if you want to be an overnight millionaire, I guess cryptocurrency isn't much of an option for you. It's the early 2000s anymore that once you have a bitcoin, you'll be a millionaire real quick. Profit from crypto takes time and strategy, so if you lack those, or maybe haven't got it, I suggest to start having them early so you can gain a profit, and eventually become a millionaire.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Viber Is Going to Launch Its Own Cryptocurrency! on: March 06, 2018, 07:24:22 PM
The Rakuten token is really nice to hear, especially as they mention that the tokens will be unlimited. I hope they could release and advertise it more than telegram's coin for exposure. I myself would like also to see the development of their coin once it's out, and hopefully read the whitepaper of their coin.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bandwidth? on: March 06, 2018, 07:12:02 PM
Self miners consume just 2MB/hour of bandwidth on their on rig setup, so bandwidth isn't much of an issue for miners actually. The reason behind the low bandwidth consumption is due to the actually low necessity of internet on behalf of mining activities. Bitcoin mining, without dedicated equipment, is done through CPU power, and not through internet power. So, I guess it's safe to say that you don't need to worry about your ISP's bandwidth limit (if any) when mining your BTCs.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Opportunity to sell for bitcoin on: March 06, 2018, 12:38:51 PM
I actually thought of that, but I wasn't able to pull it off since not everyone that I know are willing to pay in crypto. It's actually one good way to get your hands on crypto if you don't have one, you just have to provide your address. Yet, come to think of it, since you're like having a garage sale, FIAT's the more viable payment during that time.
12  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Selling items online for Bitcoin or crypto on: March 06, 2018, 06:01:16 AM
We do actually have a section here on the forum where you can buy and sell stuffs online, and have BTC as a mode of Payment. Check out the "Marketplace" section of the forum. If you're planning to make a business out of it, I'd say make BTCs just an option for now, and use digital currencies as a mode of payment primarily. Not all would be open to pay you in BTC, but if you just include it as an option, others would have the freedom to choose (Of course, BTC payments would be better since it'll be like an automatic investment).
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple on coinbase on: March 06, 2018, 01:30:32 AM
I saw the latest news about it, and Coinbase said they have no decisions yet about adding Ripple. I guess it's just a rumor after they've confirmed their answer. Latest article is below:

14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nem Blockchain and Xem, its Cryptocurrency on: March 05, 2018, 11:39:23 AM
I've heard about Nem before. I even tried downloading a wallet for it, but it's not that functional on my end. Nem's also not stable these past times as per checking on CoinMarketCap's graph for Nem. It's not a worthy investment too since the price is too low nowadays. You can check the link below for the graph I mentioned.

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth having more than one hardware/paper wallet if you hold just one curr on: March 05, 2018, 11:14:27 AM
For me the second wallet's unnecessary. If you'll have 2 wallets, think of the transaction fee that you'll be spending when you're gonna transfer BTCs between them. I'd say just use one paper wallet. Unless you'll be using the other one for like business or payment acceptance or something, one should be fine.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: warning for all on: March 05, 2018, 10:36:27 AM
These warnings are on the real MEW site actually. They highly implement the security check since it's a browser wallet, and should always check the URL and the website certificate. You'll know once you're on the fake when you notice the URL, and if it's suspicious.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: will be Bitcoin centralized ? on: March 05, 2018, 10:20:23 AM
Escrow's the key my friend if they want to track like every transaction. But, as for centralizing bitcoin, that's one thing that most probably wouldn't happen due to its nature. Face it, even in Nakamoto's White Paper on Bitcoin, it aims to be decentralized, so even if the government might have a reason they cannot implement bitcoin since they can't get their hands on it and centralize it, as long as it stays as it is, it'll never be centralized. Also, if they wanna centralize it, they have to centralize the blockchain too, which is too massive to contain.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be AWARE. Mobile payment is coming our way. on: March 05, 2018, 03:51:48 AM
The concept of the mobile payment is that you can go for goods on-the-go. It's emerging pretty fast nowadays, and they call it "Mobile Wallet". It's actually a great idea to have it since you'll more likely to forget your purse/physical wallet more than your phone, and it's convenient when that happens. We have it in our country, but not all establishments support it yet since it requires network connectivity for the transaction. As for Bitcoin, it's kinda like the same, but its wallet is a crypto wallet.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it possible to have one wallet for all cryptos? on: March 02, 2018, 01:11:16 PM
It's not quite possible to have an all-in-one wallet yet. Remember that other coins have architectures that are either based on Eth or on BTC, and those two have separate wallets themselves, so it may happen, but not right now. One desktop wallet that I know is Exodus, which actually supports may cryptos in it, and act as a wallet to them too. But, it's limited to the famous coins, and some Eth assets, so it's not that flexible yet.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best investing with bitcoin on: March 02, 2018, 05:03:35 AM
You gotta buy BTC at the lowest price possible, then sell them at the highest price that you see. That's the most basic investment plan for BTC actually. You can also earn your BTC through the forum's services, then follow the waiting and selling process. That way, you don't have to spend any money to get your BTCs. Another strategy that you can do is to involve altcoins by trading your BTC to them, and invest from there.
