1561  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: • CRYPTORY • — MAXIMIZE YOUR EARNING POTENTIAL WITH CRYPTORY! on: June 18, 2014, 03:11:54 PM
Why you posted this ref flag? do you have any proof?

CRYPTORY has been paying instantly for more than 200 days: http://www.investspot.biz/9230-dublin-cryptorium-ltd.html

Oh we got another paid advertiser now? Great.
1562  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Is this a scam? (email supposedly from BlockChain) on: June 18, 2014, 03:09:11 PM
Doesn't that sound too good to be true? Never download programs from your email.  Roll Eyes

It's probably a phishing scam. If you really want to try this out of curiosity though, be sure to set up a VM and install it there. This way you'll be safe.
1563  Other / Off-topic / Re: FIFA World Cup 2014!!! on: June 18, 2014, 03:07:27 PM
Croatia will win. They have to, they'll be even better because now we're probably gonna have normal, fair referees and it's not as big of a match as Brazil - Croatia was.

I could even put my bet on a tie. Cameroon doesn't have a bad team but I'm pretty sure Croatians are all in for the win too.
1564  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if Runescape accepts Bitcoin? on: June 17, 2014, 07:45:36 PM
What if X accepts Bitcoin!?!?!

We're getting to the point where large companies are accepting Bitcoin and nobody really cares anymore. This is momentum. 2014 truly is shaping up to be the coming of age year of Bitcoin. Cool

Nope. Every single one of us cares. An established merchant accepting Bitcoin would hit frontpage news to most tech/economy related websites.
1565  Economy / Services / Re: How can I get an escrow? on: June 17, 2014, 05:27:08 PM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=108716.0

You can choose/contact one from the above trusted escrowers list.

Took a look at the above and saw that John K. has gone missing while still holding yhe funds of some forum members. Wow, I wasn't expecting that.

And another website gets away with people's money... :/ Sad to see people actually had coins in there.
1567  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 17, 2014, 04:42:09 PM
Were balancing around 600 for days now. I feel safe to post this.

Lucky Algerians. I'm rooting for them Smiley I like when outsiders win matches.

Same here. Also a great multiplier for the gamblers. Cheesy
1569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POT] PotCoin Launches Today 01/21 @ 4:20 on: June 17, 2014, 01:50:43 PM
Potcoin ,when I think about it is one of the most suitable crypto's out there. Suits the community so well, and with the legal issues changing for weed (for the better), I think we'll be very happy to be early holders. I just hope marketing initiatives can achieve market penetration before bitcoin does by default.

Yup, it's relevant in the US right now. xD
1570  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Official announcement from Ghash.IO on: June 17, 2014, 01:48:22 PM

1571  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: btc-arbs.com - Update: dead HYIP, Refund progress on: June 17, 2014, 01:45:35 PM
My 4 shares in the Trading Pool come due July 21, 2014.

I'll post my results...but I doubt it'll matter; claims of me lying/ will likely be tossed if it [Bitcoin-Trader] does pay me.

Oh well, invest only what you would otherwise feel comfortable burning (literally).

Wrong thread? This is not bitcoin-trader
1572  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beware of LocalBitcoins.com on: June 13, 2014, 08:41:20 PM
This doesn't sound like a real world story to me. I really feel like most stuff in the op are just hyperboles. I trade there frequently and I haven't experienced any of the problems portrayed there.
1573  Other / Off-topic / Re: FIFA World Cup 2014!!! on: June 13, 2014, 08:19:04 PM
Neymar also got a Yellow card. He'll have to be extremely cautious in the upcoming matches.

Yup. I'm sure they wouldn't want to lose their star for another yellow card. It seems to me like their entire team is built around him.

I'm pretty sure that they would play without him too. But they's have to reshape the format of the team so it could be effective without him.
1574  Other / Off-topic / Re: FIFA World Cup 2014!!! on: June 13, 2014, 08:16:25 PM
Seeing how Brazil played, i doubt they will pass even to semifinals, the times of the Ronaldo fenomeno squad are over, im pointing more at Argentina.

Agreed, Brazil looked very weak yesterday. Argentina may just surprise everyone and win it all, they certainly can.

edit: the colors chosen by the countries are really weird! I'm used to Spain being mostly red, and Netherlands being orange.
hahaha FIFA facts

Spain looks like Real madrid, which is a good thing because Real madrid is the best team in the world and other teams will be screwed.

lol

Comparing the world cup to Champions league. You're doing something wrong.

Working POOL???

There is a post about a pool right above you. Are you even trying?  Lips sealed
1576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal surveying about bitcoin. on: June 13, 2014, 07:02:22 PM
They know what the future is and they are trying to get a piece of it these guys arent dumb

Sure those guys aren't dumb. But they have to think twice when they make changes to such a big website. Introducing a new currency to it would be hard because of their curent user base. They maybe would have to reshape their bussines model a bit in order to introduce bitcoin. Not something easy to do.
1577  Economy / Economics / Re: Silkroad seized bitcoins to impact price? on: June 13, 2014, 05:02:15 PM
I'd say yeah. There was a huge sell wall at some point if I remember right.
1578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If a 51% attack actually happens, could i lose my bitcoins in cold storage on: June 13, 2014, 04:57:06 PM
Always expect the worst case scenario, so yes, it could happen.

Maybe you could wait to see how we are going to pass this issue, as it's for the first time ever to happen.

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.

You guys should have a look at the wiki. The information is out there for you to access. Coming here to ask won't help much.
1579  Other / Off-topic / Re: Movie Recommendation Station on: June 09, 2014, 06:02:02 AM

The Gladiator was indeed a Great movie. Haven't watched the other two. I don't hear many good words about Braveheart to be honest, not any more.
