1842  Economy / Speculation / Re: This guy predicts bitcoin to be $20,000 in 2 years. What do you think? on: October 20, 2017, 01:16:01 AM
$20K by December 2018.  It's doubled in value 3 times in ONE year.  If it did it again, it would actually be $40K in just one year from now.  One can dream  Cheesy

1844  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Will Bittrex provide tax documents at the end of the year, or am I responsible? on: October 19, 2017, 10:28:56 PM
Will they provide a document stating my total gains or losses, or am I responsible for totaling these things up and reporting them?  I did a lot of trading earlier in the year and I can't find a simple solution for totaling anything; almost looks like a nightmare.
Trading means little, just add up your deposits and withdrawals see which is bigger and report the difference, that's your profit or loss.

Remember unless it's a deposit or a withdrawal, then you haven't actually made a trade, it's all within the virtual world of the exchange and what you think you have done isn't real until you withdraw it.

great point. but what about if i withdrew it to a hardware wallet?  That's still technically virtual and not any real earnings then, right?

Were these funded?  or no?  that is such a gorgeous piece.
1846  Economy / Collectibles / Re: It's all coins, bars, notes... Any other in series collectables? on: October 19, 2017, 08:05:33 PM
Hello all! I've always loved collecting, and getting coins of every year in a row was a big deal to me. But every collectible I see is supposed to bear crypto. What else is there? Are there no other crypto-related collectibles that aren't meant to bear currency?

not sure if you're an art fan, but we just released this piece:  https://lynxartcollection.com/cryptocurrency/to-the-moon-bitcoin-guy-vs-fiat-money-guy-rollercoaster-poster

And we're working on several more art pieces over the coming months, all of which are limited and signed/numbered.  Smiley

I messaged him awhile ago for that, the lowest numbers available all 3 poster sizes, and one of the largest canvases

He was saying that he wants three posters in total, each poster numbered #21 (#21 of each size).  You were wanting the lower numbered ones which we still have.   Smiley
1855  Economy / Collectibles / [WTS] Bitcoin Guy vs Fiat Guy Rollercoaster Art Print - RETIRES TONIGHT! on: October 18, 2017, 01:31:07 AM

This piece is now retired

Hello everyone!

I’m Frank, owner of LynxArtCollection.com

I’m so very excited to share with you our newest crypto art.  This new piece features the ‘Bitcoin Guy’ heading to the moon VS a ‘Fiat Guy’ (our own creation!) going into the center of the Earth and burning up.  The total worldwide distribution of this print is limited to 100.

We’ve been in business for a little over five years now, focusing on pop culture, science, space, and history artwork.  We’ve just gotten into making new art prints for crypto and this one has got me especially excited.  It’s funny, it’s an awesome conversation piece, and it’s the core of what we all believe.

Here’s what it looks like!

All prints are printed on a beautiful 100 lb polar white photo paper.  This is a very thick cardstock and feels much thicker than the average paper used for prints.  It displays colors very vividly and crisply.  All prints are 100-year archival.

I hope you enjoy this piece just as much as we do.  The more we all both transact in BTC as well as offer new BTC collectibles, the more adoption we will continue to have as a community.  And of course, our website does allow checkout via any major credit card.

If you have any questions or would like to put in an order, please e-mail us or feel free to shoot me a message.  I’d be happy to answer any questions.

Best to you all and of course, TO THE MOON!  Grin
1856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Is Stellar Lumens a good investment for long term? on: October 16, 2017, 07:35:27 PM
Obviously it's jumped 100%+ today because of the IBM partnership announcement.

I'm considering moving out of Litecoin and into Stellar.  Do you guys think there's a chance it'll head much higher this year?  Or should I just HODL my litecoin?  I'm so torn.
