Thank you guys, so lets assume we have a really solid ICO with a good project, you would do an airdrop to raise interest?
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is Airdrop actually working for ICOs? on: March 18, 2018, 12:55:19 PM
I was checking these Airdrops, they are usually asking for a telegram group join. All these groups are ending up having 50K + members. Ok, I understand that part, but at the end these groups are spammed by members, no real discussion is going on since there are so many comments etc. Is it worth it for ICOs to do airdrop? Anyone here who has actual numbers?
46  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to handle tough times in cryptocurrency? on: March 18, 2018, 11:12:44 AM
Just dont panic, keep those positions that you really believe will benefit you on the long run and maybe loose those that are riskier in your opinion. Or the risky ones - write down the loss, forget them and look at those in a year from now and only care about the ones you like

52  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading FOREX or Crypto? on: March 18, 2018, 10:03:42 AM
Forex uses national currencies for exchange and forex rates are low if you do not use margin. Crypto has a very low trading volume and when you use a large amount of money to buy, the value of profit can be up to 10 - 100 times in a short time.
It depends on what kind of crypto trading do we use to trade as i saw many people are in crypto but not in marginal trading especially for thise who are emotional in trading. Crypto trading can be for both short-term and long-term however marginal and forex is almost the same style of trading methods.
The foreign exchange market is huge with about 4,000 billion dollars. The amount of foreign currency is very large and there are very few currency pairs traded. There are many people who are interested in Forex and study the information that affects it. The technical analysis applied to the exchange rate is usually more accurate.

I think you are not wrong but you are also not right completely. Forex though having large volumes of the trade it is still small part of the whole thing because number of foreign currency that we have are much lesser as compared to the crypto currency that we have. The crypto's are really small for now but in the future the market will keep growing and it will over take the forex market too. This will simply have effect on global investment and as crypto is more or less freedom to choose most of the people will choose it over the forex once they see the benefits. So we cant compared the both world at this point as many things are incomplete in the crypto.

This whole 4000 billion dollar thing is not on the real market, I mean not that small investors can actually see. This amount is with the banks clearing transactions and all the wire transfers globally.
53  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where to learn how to trade on: March 18, 2018, 09:28:24 AM
For the start:
Go for forex trading - try demo accounts, see how the whole thing goes there
Than come back to crypto and start trading with real money for a while, start slow. You are not a pro because you made money, it can be sheer luck. When you are confident what you are doing, increase the money involved.
Read, read as much as possible, learn everything you can. Write down your strategy and stick to it. Always, there is no exception. If the strategy is good you will win. If not, change the strategy and stick to it.
54  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading FOREX or Crypto? on: March 18, 2018, 09:22:01 AM
The main difference is, that forex is more regulated, the trades are instant, there is no such thing as the platform you are using is not executing your trade for days or so. In forex you less choices but you can react easier on market moves. There are more fundamentals behind the trades. I feel that many times crypto is just pure gambling, and everyone tries to be very wise but no one is actually. We dont really have news to back up market moves, the move just happens.
55  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how risky is day trading? on: March 18, 2018, 09:19:45 AM
In my opinion, day trading is very risky. Especially in crypto. Maybe in forex where you can react instantly on patterns, news etc, you can make money (very hard and very stressful) but on crypto it is very hard. If I were you, I would do a bit longer trades. What I see is the easiest way is to enter PreICOs and leave on time. The other is when you believe in a project and you keep the coin on the long run.
56  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: job and trading together.. on: March 18, 2018, 09:17:01 AM
There is advantage and disadvantage of being a full time trader. When I was a professional forex trader, I did quit my job for a time. You know what happened, I started loosing. When I went back to work I made money again. Simply, my strategy was a more long term one and when I was sitting in front of the computer all day long, I felt the urge to actually open a position. This is something you cant do next to a full time job. If there is anyone who can tell upfront whats going to happen in the next minute, well, I call that a luck. But to see a longer term, few days, week pattern is something I believe to be possible.
57  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Try to recover loss on: March 18, 2018, 09:13:35 AM
I used to be a full time forex trader, now I do the same with crypto and I found that rules are the number one:
Always have a plan - follow, write it down, never make exceptions, I lost a lot when I said this is an exception.. Don't do that.
If you have a plan there is no emotional decision you should make. Like these days, if you have a plan up front, you know exactly what to do.
58  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you Panic? on: March 18, 2018, 08:57:48 AM
IF you truly believe in your coin choices than hold them, if you are liquid buy more at these low prices.
If your are hesitant on the whole thing, since there is no past experience to rely on, maybe it is time to sell some so you keep your remaining money. Or if you lost too much already, keep it and think of it as a lost case, if it recovers its all bonus Smiley It is always teh angle you look at things
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hold or sell and buy back lower on: March 18, 2018, 12:00:28 AM
Go for martingale if you have more liquidity, i think its a good idea to buy a coin that you actually believe on the long run
