Im trying to mine with Radeon HD-7770 1GB, but everytime i try to run GPU mining i end up with this:

ͻ
Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.0 Beta
ͼ

ZEC: 1 pool is specified
Main ZCash pool is zec.pool.minergate.com:3357

Catalyst 15.12 is REQUIRED for best performance and compatibility
15.12 does not support some Fiji cards, use 16.3.2 for them
For 4xx cards (Polaris) Crimson 16.12.2 is recommended

At least 16 GB of Virtual Memory is required for multi-GPU systems
Make sure you defined GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
Be careful with overclocking, use default clocks for first tests
Press "s" for current statistics, "0".."9" to turn on/off cards, "r" to reload pools
NOTE: miner uses 3000 rounds to calculate average speed, so it may take about a minute to get correct speed.

Any tip whats wrong? I set variables in ./start.bash as described in the first post, still not working. Im running Ubuntu 16 lts. Thanks!

Probably lack of memory with your video card.. It needs at least 2 GB of ram I think.
Also your card is soooooo weak, it's pointless to even mine with it. You would be losing money to mine with that card.
Get yourself a proper mining rig with at least 5 or more AMD RX 470 4GB video card if you want to earn any money.
Remember you are competing against other miners with a lot more hashing power.

@CLAYMORE, could you decrease the devfee? still here and stayed at 90 seconds, and not all pools support SSL

Yes I will reduce devfee in next update.

May I ask when the next update will come? also if there will be any performance bump for VEGA cards?

I always get this problem whenever i start to mine, been trying different pools but i still get the same error can anybody tell me how to fix this.
I dont know what "OpenCL error" this is my first time mining.

I'm looking at your Video Card.... and I see it has 887 mb vram and 2 compute units.. Dude
you can't even use that to mine with... Get a AMD RX 480 or the new VEGA cards.

Hi Guys,

how do you get 3-4 Vega working in your mobo?

I have an issues can only get 2 detected by Windows at the same time.

Can someone help me?

Thx in advance

Dexx

Make sure your motherboard bios is up to date, also be sure to change your PCI Express speed to GEN 2 in the bios.

Error CL_DEVICE_NOT_FOUND calling clGetDeviceIDs for number of devices.

I'm a total noob. pls help.

My config:

cast_xmr-vega -S pool.supportxmr.com:7777 -u (wallet)

What cards are you running? Only compatible with VEGA gpu

nobody reply to me

who to correctly enter the pool name ?

cast_xmr-vega -S ssl://europe.monero.miningpoolhub.com:20580

or
cast_xmr-vega -S europe.monero.miningpoolhub.com:20580   not working

Does the pool require login? password? could be the issue

Well, I got a problem... I'm getting artifacts on my screen probably due to instability..
so I set my clocks down to 900 memory and still no go.
Frankly I like your miner more compared to say Claymore's but it really needs to support more cards per instance.
XMR STAK is still king right now.. good luck with your progress.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Cast XMR] high speed XMR/CryptoNight miner for RX Vega GPUs (2 KHash/s) on: October 17, 2017, 10:25:51 PM
I think I'm making a rookie error but it won't work for me, SOCKET ERROR: NO LOGIN/PASSWORD SPECIFIED

Is there some guide for how to set up the configuration? I can't work it out from the defaults.

Does your pool require a password? Otherwise all you need is your wallet id..

Got this up and working... and yeah having a 2nd instance will knock about 200 h/s off the 1st instance... but oh well
I'm running 1600 h/s and 1800 h/s from 2 VEGA 56... still nice though.
