101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is like day trading ? on: March 19, 2020, 09:25:26 AM
I get your point but they aren't really similar they both have risk,
But gambling is way more different than trading gambling is fun unlike trading it is too serious.
You couldn't trade to have fun and relax.
102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Corona virus (COVID19) Effect in Cryptocurrency Gambling on: March 19, 2020, 08:32:57 AM
It wouldn't just affect the Sports betting but also the other online gambling games as well.
They might not feel it but there would be less gambler for sure because of this corona virus they would try to save their money instead of risking it just like what I am doing.
But I guess we couldn't be so sure since some sports bettor would try out some other gambling games.
103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: March 19, 2020, 07:33:08 AM

Sports Gamblers would either quit now or simply look for the alternatives for their cravings. There is nothing that working like sportbetting though, has the provably fair technology even exist in the racing games on casinos?

The only reason why I bet on sports games is because I followed the athletes. My option is to just play dice and blackjack21, I guess it will work to kill time.
There are always other way to entertain their own and besides with the virus spreading I don't think they would really be prioritizing their bets or craving to gamble.
But if they really want to gamble then it is time for them to step out of their comfort zone and try those online games like dice, crash game and mines.
104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stop gambling in a time of crisis? on: March 18, 2020, 03:45:33 PM
Yes since I have no other choice instead of risking my money right now I would rather buy some necessities in order to survive.
I think everyone would also do the same when they are on the same spot,
When you only have enough money to live and there would be a lock down then surely you wouldn't waste any money just to have fun.
105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often do you gamble? on: March 18, 2020, 02:25:58 PM
Due to corona virus I haven't tried to gamble right now since our country is having a lockdown,
And I am saving some money for our food stock my family is my top priority right now and I think I couldn't waste any money right now since I really need it.
106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction? on: March 14, 2020, 02:12:48 PM
As we all know , Coronavirus has impacted each and every industry in the whole world and sports isn't an exception .

If you take a look at this  , https://www.nytimes.com/article/sports-canceled-coronavirus.html or https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5232295.0 you will get to know how many tournaments across different sports have been affected .

But the question is , is this the right time for gambling addicts to come out of addiction? The assumption I am making here is  that the gambling addicts are addicts on sports betting and not casino game addiction or poker .

Why this question is because although I wanna bet on sports ( which I have been doing every week since 8 years ) now I cannot .
This would surely hold them for awhile including you OP.
But somehow I don't really think that this would cure your addiction.
Some how you would surely find something else to do while there isn't any sports that you could bet.
(Why not make some bet on when would those tournament resume  Grin )
107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does anyone pay for slandering gambling websites on Bitcointalk? on: March 14, 2020, 12:08:09 PM
I don't think that there would be some people who would waste their money to pay anyone for slandering some website.
I don't see the point on it and also I don't see what would they gain from doing it.
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19: Avoid casino, play online on: March 14, 2020, 08:38:32 AM
We are now having an advantage when it comes to gambling those who likes to gamble at casino would be forced to stop for awhile to prevent the virus from spreading,
Meanwhile we who gamble online doesn't have to worry about a thing we could just gamble whenever we want,
This is the advantage of online gambling we could always do it when and where ever we want.
109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do ? on: March 11, 2020, 05:29:57 AM
I guess I would just report the bug since it could affect their website and the worst case is they could shut down if they couldn't handle it anymore and they lose tons of money already.
I guess reporting it would be the best to keep their website and there could also be a reward for telling them the bug.
I am not saying that it wouldn't cross my mind to use the opportunity but if it is my favorite gambling site then it would be a shame if they would stop operating because of that bug.
110  Economy / Gambling / Re: New Casino! on: March 11, 2020, 04:55:16 AM
I think in this period, opening a casino is very brave. I see that the economy is slowing down and consequently there will be less money for entertainment. good luck

This might apply more for casinos in Vegas rather than an online casino. There is a huge difference between the two. For example, keeping an online casino running costs very little. Maybe 1 employee or 2 and some server hosting bills. Keeping a large casino operational costs maybe in the hundreds of thousands per day like in Las Vegas.

Regarding the economy slowing down... we are not in a recession yet. If the coronavirus keeps worsening then its possible but we can easily climb out of this when it gets contained. Maybe the warm weather will help kill it off. But you are correct that if there is a recession then people are all about risk-off investments and nobody will be going to casinos in a recession since cash is king at times like that, especially when people are unemployed.
Warm weather doesn't stop the virus it is still spreading here in the Philippines right now and the weather here is getting a lot warmer so I guess a warm weather couldn't stop the virus now.
And regarding to the topic I think they need to put up a lot of new stuff in their site in order to gain the attention of the gamblers they need to think of a way to attract the gamblers to use their site since there are so many online casino nowadays.
111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction threads on: March 09, 2020, 01:57:55 PM
Gambling threads discussion would really open our eyes on what we had loss and what we could have bought if we didn't gamble at all.
It would make us realize that we just waste our money.
112  Economy / Gambling / Re: SurvivalBet: casino with surviving game.🎲 Can be played without deposit 💰 on: March 09, 2020, 12:44:27 PM
It feels more like a faucet with a twist rather than a gambling site.
And it is great that we could experience it for free and we don't need to deposit.
I also think that it needs some upgrade on graphics just to gain more attention because other would see it as a plain old site.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Crybet - Casino / Sports Betting / IGaming on: March 09, 2020, 11:50:43 AM
Is this some sort of joke op? Visited your site and observed that it looks like an ICO more than a gambling site which does not make any sense. The site name and the title of the site are worded differently(Crybet and Cryptobet).

You mention that we can play with popular crypto, but it seems like you guys are launching your own crypto token(CBT). This seems like an absolute mess. Care to clarify?
Maybe it is a gamble for the investors LOL.
But let's wait for them to clear it out but I think they should have prepared everything before making an announcement since this would affect their professionalism.
114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play dice: Strategy with BTC on: March 08, 2020, 10:42:48 AM
This is common knowledge op. Who doesn't know most of this stuff? I expected some unique strategy, but was disappointed to observe you mention the same old martingale etc strategies.

Gambling strategies help improve the fun aspect drastically, but they have 0 effect on your chances of winning or losing in any particular game in the short term and long term which is why I don't advise depending on them for money recovery etc.
Any strategy wouldn't really help a lot if you don't know how to stop.
For me nothing really works  because the site already knows all of the strategy and they wouldn't let you win by it.
Just imagine how much they would lose if there is a strategy that would works everytime no gambling site would last if there is something like that.
115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ways to recover from being addicted in gambling. on: March 08, 2020, 06:43:58 AM
There are so many gamblers in this virtual world or even in the real life, there are some that can be considered as a compulsive gambler or those really addicted in gambling. That is the worst thing that you may acquire in gambling, in which that all the things that you are usually doing are now nothing, you are only focused on gambling, even your relationships on your friends and family are affected.

I want to help those people who really abused by the gambling, let me list down all possible solution that they may use to recover from being addicted in gambling.
1. Focus on your family or friends - if you have strong relationship with your family and friends then you will forget to play gambling, and they may help you to limit yourself from gambling.
2. List all things that were affected by gambling - if you can see all the things that were affected because of gambling then you may realize that it has no goods to give you, then I hope that it makes you think to stop gambling.
3. Read and Search about gambling addiction - if you can see all people that have been affected because of gambling then you may stop from being addicted on it, there are some people's life that already destroyed because of gambling.
4. Meet and visit experts or professionals about mental health - If you really want to limit yourself from gambling, but you can't then you may visit some experts and listen to their advise.

What about limiting your budget for gambling ?
The limited budget for gambling will not allow you to become addicted to gambling, because once you are out of your budget you will automatically quit it for the day or week, according to your plan. The less funds you allocate to gambling, the better you will remain safe from the risks of losing money.
Limiting doesn't really help at all because they could just cheat on their own.
The best way is to seek help from family and friends and focus on your family just like OP's suggestion.
116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19 and its effect in Gambling World on: March 08, 2020, 05:04:55 AM
COVID-19 only affects the casino or offline gamblings since people would rather stay at home than to risk their health just to gamble.
But I don't think it would affect us or the online gamblers and even the online gambling industry.
This is one of the positive side of online gambling.
117  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinoroam.com - Bitcoin casinos - Casino and Slots Reviews on: March 06, 2020, 01:57:01 PM
Well the design is good but compared to others it would really look basic.
I think OP is still young for this and that is why he/she is asking for our advise to know and learn more and to improve whatever the site is missing.
I agree that the site is lacking of many things the pro's and con's, Limited gambling sites listed on their platform.
But we should also consider the effort and work that they put up just to create it.
118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am fed up with scammers and newbies. on: March 06, 2020, 10:26:55 AM
To be honest we only  need to use our common sense to avoid being scammed.
I don't get why they still fall for such simple trick and it is so clear that it is just a scam.
119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Indiscipline and Greed on: March 06, 2020, 09:52:56 AM
Trading cryotocurrencies is not so easy but very profitable.  majority find it difficult to retain their profit after a successful trade which is mostly caused by greed and indiscipline. When you have made enough money, it's better to call it a day and wait for another day of opportunity. Instead, indiscipline will make you open another trade to make more money which is what usually  lead to  losing the profit you already made from your first trade. Anyone can make this mistake and the most important lesson is to learn from our past mistakes because the mistakes are the lessons.

Not just in trading but also in other things like gambling and investment.
Greed and indiscipline is mostly the root of our loss,
If we couldn't control it then for sure it would only cost us more loss in the future.
120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Managers and Shit projects on: March 06, 2020, 08:02:34 AM
We shouldn't blame anyone if we participated a shit project or be scammed by it.
We should learn to choose where to participate and we should learn to accept that it was our fault for being scammed,
If we just spend some time to look at the project and did our own research then we wouldn't get scammed or joined those shitty project.
