True, no doubt about it We all know that there's a lot of FUD these past few weeks about bitcoin. Due to this, there's a big dump in BTC price. As per checking, It has reached $6000 and now in 8k range. What do you think will happen? will it pump already or will dump more?  I think the price will pump. Good news after good news are being relayed to the public. This will greatly affect people to decide to jump in. More investors means much higher price. |

I think the dip is already over. Regarding your prediction, I doubt it will happen even in the future dip.
Crypto is here to stay specially eth, i don't know for btc.
Alot of people are jumping in since btc's price is low thus, its price will surely increase.

Also, those people who failed to buy-in when bitcoin's price was still low are now jumping in. Considering their number, bitcoin's price might rise up to 10k by Friday.

Some thoughts on the project. Types of challenges I'd like to see on the app. 1. Back on page 15, you suggest giving 100 SnapTokens to the first 100 people to take a picture at the London Eye or 250 SnapTokens if you take a picture at the Colosseum within the next 10 minutes. I know that was just brainstorming, but I just want to voice my objection to the amount of SnapTokens that are suggested to be awarded for those tasks. Considering it was suggested that the SnapTokens could be worth $1 after the ICO is completed, giving someone $100 or $250 for basically being in the right place at the right time is to high. I could see using right place right time "challenges" to grow app use and get the SnapTokens ball rolling, but I would think that a 10th of those proposed amounts would be plenty, especially if we are aiming for a $1 valuation right off the hop once the ICO ends. Thanks Edit: I downloaded the app, and it is requesting that I log in with Facebook, I don't use Facebook, when will other login options be available? Challenge found on the app right now are just examples and is not limited to that. Users need to be creative to create a mind blowing challege. User-created challenge is made for it. App is still under development. Other log in methods will surely come. I will talk to the dev when will they add it since the main concern right now is adding more feautures. |

I counted approximately 350 threads only in meta about merit, and it seems that merit threads are popping out in other boards as well.
Can we have new board for merit discussion/ideas/merit sharing etc?

I agree. So the forum will be organized. People who wants to give merit by reviewing someone's post can be seen in one place as well as questions about merit. I can see that threads like those are scattered throughout the forum. Even this could have been suggested in the official thread about merit system.  Coming back to your question, I think it is not needed as we will see less of these posts as the merit system gets older. I think we should also consider the fact that alot of users are registering in the forum. Thus, questions about merit will continuously be raised. But what you said is correct, only time can tell. |

Hi team, Im glad to be here. Seems like there are more people in bounty thread than here Well my first impression to SnapCity when I have my first look is ...omg is this another Pokemon Go? Eventhought I dont play PG honestly. So even I think this is an interesting project but may I know if this will remind people of PG like me and they would play PG instead? Or what is the difference to make people play on Snapcity? The best strategy is still post quality replies. Reply on new threads not on those thread which has over 200 replies. Chances are, your post won't be noticed and it's already a repitition of what others have said thus it doesn't deserve a merit. One more thing that you can do is, browse the forum, look for persons who are giving merit for quality posts like these two https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2819141.0 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2825523.0You might also consider posting in local section since you will get alot of attention there compared to other sections. I have seen alot of accounts who already got a merit from their local boards. Reminder: Don't engage in merit trading or merit buy/sell, it might result to a ban. |
