I have only used PayPal, and already got some scammer contacting me through e-mail about my PayPal account. They claimed to be from PayPal ( had proper logo and looked legit ) but when I followed through ( not clicking on their fake links of course ) I confirmed they were try to scam me. Incidentally I also got someone trying to scam me through facebook, told me about some amazing DeFi project that turned out to be a scam. No, i didn't invest in it, I'm fairly thorough with my research and nothing gets past me.
I wish I could use a hardware wallet but as I said, I've checked all of them out, they only support some of my coins. Now that I will try DeFi, I will get even more exotic coins that nobody's ever heard of so zero confidence in hardware wallets.
