181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounties sometimes are unpredictable on: July 21, 2019, 04:30:30 PM
The most painful experience when promoting a bounty project is thinking you made a right choice by removing the signature of the project you are promoting presently for another project that you think its better and later on? Grin

The first project you are promoting get listed and doubled in value ,how will you feel? Damn! The fact is bounties are unpredictable sometimes ,no one can predict the end results
In terms of removing signatures from the first project for the next project that is considered to be successful, many are disappointed when the price of the first project token is high in price. I have experienced it. From that experience, I found a very valuable lesson that is commitment and confidence.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have lost 8 letters of my Ethereum private key on: July 20, 2019, 10:11:54 AM
Hi there
I have lost the last 8 letters of my ethereum wallet private keys. I wonder if there is a way to restore those letters. I searched the net and found out that it is possible to do it usuing a C or Python program.
If you know a way to solve my problem , please let me know
thanks
If the problem you are experiencing right now is losing 8 sequences from Ethereum's private key wallet, I think there is no solution other than creating a new wallet address. Have you saved the pdf format?
If I may know, why can it disappear?
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Arrgh! Libra here and There on: July 20, 2019, 09:42:02 AM
Why are people not getting it?its kinda annoying hearing from people that Facebook Libra coin will take over.

The first question I would like to ask such people is why are they investing in crypto?majority of us on here wants to make profits apart from supporting the technology and that clears the fact that I'm only investing in bitcoin and altcoins because they aren't stable.

People aren't getting it that if bitcoin becomes a stable currency today many investors will start using bitcoin just like they are using tether but what about those high gain?sorry guys investing 2000$ in stable coins will remains at 1999$-2000$ forever.

Either bitcoin and altcoins bring loss or gains that's what makes them more interesting,Libra is a stable coin,no more no less and no matter how good it turns out to be its not an option for investment to me,I don't know about you guys.

If Libra gets on exchanges I like using like binance yes I would gladly use it to back my crypto Worth's just like using tether or usdc, nothing more or less.

Enough of libraphobia.

Everyone must be different in seeing coins. Bitcoin has been proven in crypto in my opinion as a stable coin that is very good and very reasonable if many people invest in the coin. Libra is also good according to people's minds because the coin is a coin that will be issued by Facebook which is a great company.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Favorite platform? on: July 20, 2019, 07:43:55 AM
If you are required to choose one platform, which one you will choose as the right choice. Platform Ethereum or Platform TRON? and explain the reason for choosing it. Thank you for your time. Smiley
The platform that I choose if faced with two choices is Ethereum. Why not choose the TRON platform, because Ethereum is a convenient platform for me to use while on Crypto. Another reason why I chose Ethereum, maybe the same as those who chose Ethereum.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking to invest in a couple alts.. on: July 20, 2019, 06:25:35 AM
Hi,
I've got a small bit of money to invest with. I trade these days. But it'd give me peace of mind knowing I'm also holding a bit.

I'm thinking of going with Ethereum. maybe 50% ETH / 50% BTC
Are there any of the top10 altcoins that are currently a better buy than ETH?
You can try with Ripple, Litecoin or Binance. If you want to invest other than Ethereum. In my opinion, Ethereum is better now if you want to invest. Your concept is good, 50:50. You can buy 50% ETH and buy another 50% coin.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your opinions on IEOs on: July 19, 2019, 10:42:20 AM
Recently, I've seen a lot of positive press regarding IEOs. After all, Binance is already successfully running them, giving ICO projects a chance to shine and many other exchanges are following suit.
My personal opinion is that IEOs should be discouraged. Firstly, it gives more and more power to these centralised exchanges, who are able to charge higher, more ridiculous listing fees for coins as well as extremely large payments to hold IEOs. Their vested interests in this way mean they are less likely to care about vetting projects that may be untrustworthy, leading to even more irresponsible behaviour.

Exchanges are already making far too much from listing fees, so IEOs on top are completely unnecessary. While they are good promotion for coins, such practices cannot be good in the long-term.
Instead, the focus should be easy-to-use decentralised exchanges which don't require intrusive KYC/AML and are much less likely to be corrupt/ill-willed if some DAO-like structure is in place. While blockchain technology has made the storage of data much safer, what is the point if thousands of crypto exchanges hold endless amounts of data on the customers in the same way banks do? The only thing changing is who owns the data, so privacy has not improved. And as crypto adoption increases, so will regulation of exchanges.
We don't want to end up in a situation where to trade any meaningful amount of crypto you have to send your name, address, ID, and bank account details to some exchange which can do whatever it likes with your data.

Your thoughts?
I appreciate you because my mind is not like your thoughts that are too far from crypto. So far, I have only adopted people, meaning that if people say the IEO is better than ICO, then I follow them, arguing that the IEO is better. But, after I read this post, I had to learn a lot about crypto.
I agree that blockchain technology is safer when it comes to data storage.

Glad I can help! If you are interested in these kinds of things, I would recommend reading about the Electronic Frontier Foundation and about the "cypherpunks" here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cypherpunk  If this info helped you a lot I would be very glad if you merited my post although it is completely up to you.
I am not a person who likes to praise, if indeed the person has abilities that can help me, I think it is my duty to respect.
Once again, thank you for the reference you gave and I will read to increase my knowledge. Isn't the IEO clearer and more open than the ICO?
Why do many investors turn to IEO?

188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best time for promoting bounty projects on: July 19, 2019, 09:18:10 AM
The best time to promote bounties are on altcoins season ,if you are tired of one delay after the other just quit till altcoins season returns ,this is the reason why 2017 was the best year for bounty hunters
2017 is indeed a very pleasant year for bounty hunters. Since 2017 passed, the bounty hunters have begun to retreat from their activities. If you wait for the best time to promote a prize, then I'm sure you won't get the win like it did in 2017, because time never waits for us.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties rules and regulations on: July 19, 2019, 07:45:59 AM
Before you start complaining that bounty managers change bounty rules after bounty ended or KYC was later implemented do you read the bounty rules and regulations?

Many bounties have already says it all in their rules and regulations that 'THE BOUNTY MANAGER HAS THE RIGHT TO CHANGE RULES AT ANY TIME' when you see something like that always know that anything can happen ,the one way to avoid this is if there is no such rules on the bounty thread.

Bounty hunters still find it very hard to read, they care less about rules and go for the good looking bounty allocation, please have patience and go through rules and regulations ,most times its not always the bounty managers fault.
I read the rules every time I want to join a bounty. And I've also seen a bounty manager tell every participant who wants to join to read carefully the rules during the campaign. I think the manager has full rights in the campaign.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs. Big Companies on: July 18, 2019, 11:07:10 AM
...what do you think,
can big companies like amazon, google, facebook, or apple kill ethereum?

Possible Reasons:

-much more money
-more business partners
-more employees

They can make coins and I'm sure of that. Maybe my reason is the same as your reason, they are more money, good business partners and have a lot of employees. Maybe you have also heard information about a Facebook company plan that will launch a new coin.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Managers do not Determine the Legitimacy of a Cryptocurrency Project on: July 18, 2019, 09:49:17 AM
I have read a lot of people claiming that the rank or online personality of the bounty manager can help in knowing the or determining if investing in a token project will be worthwhile. I must tell you I was of the opinion until this morning when I learnt about the incompetence of a bounty manager I used to follow. Remember most of us don't know each others beyond our online profile. I learnt he will be managing more bounty after he left his old profile to embrace another one.

Although, he's not tainted as fraud yet because my source won't say if he is. But the issue is if he is to fraud unsuspecting newbies, that how he will do it. U believe u can trust him base on his forum rank and experience. But he is fake who has series of identities for his guise.

So, don't join a bounty or invest in a project because of the bounty manager. Do your research before investing your money or time on any project.
I don't agree with you in terms of not joining the bounty because of the manager. Research is indeed very important if you want to join the bounty, but the manager is also one of the important aspects in joining the bounty.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin's future. on: July 16, 2019, 05:00:58 AM
The more new coins that are present in the crypto market, will certainly enliven the crypto world. My question is how do you look at the future of the altcoin, with fairly tight competition. Will it affect the price of old altcoins, such as Ethereum, XRP and others.
The presence of new coins on the market will be better for old coins, because competition continues to give birth to new innovations. In my opinion, the emergence of new coins will not affect the old coins, whether it is Ethereum, XRP, and others.
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading is a big challenge. on: July 15, 2019, 08:10:03 AM
Yes This is only temporary. I am sure that the current price of bitcoin is declining. I feel that the peak of Bitcoin could happen next year. My reason is very simple, because I want to feel the price like in 2017. But I am not an expert in the field of coin price analysis.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO becomes successful = ETH will moon? on: July 14, 2019, 05:24:18 PM
as we see now many project are using IEO system to collect funds from investors and I feel IEO is very popular at the moment, besides that I also see a lot of IEO that are currently successful, therefore I am sure that the price of ETH will definitely increase too if many project use blockchain from Ethereum (ERC-20). because as we know in 2017, where ETH prices increase very high due to ICO very popular and successful, so if this year IEO will experience the same thing as ICO in 2017 (popular and successful) then it will make ETH prices increase again (bull run).

The emergence of the IEO after the ICO faded brought fresh air to many circles. For investors, the appearance of the IEO is more credible than ICO. But about the price of coins, will it be repeated like 2017 when ICO is very popular, that's what I look forward to.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think of ETH Price will be by end of 2020? on: July 14, 2019, 03:11:12 PM
As we know ETH 2nd best ranking in all the coins and tokens , it's blockchain being used by very big business projects and getting adopted worldwide . It does have its problems , and that is why with frequent updates and upgrades to its technology , ETH is trying the be the best altcoin in this space.

The ETH 2.0 release date has been set in January 2020. So we know there will be very big movement of the price in eth before this date and after that as well . With heavy influence in whole of crypto space, Along with bitcoin ETH will be going to places in price rise.

Now we all know currently ETH has 106 million in circulating supply . about x6 of BTC. Usually eth follows btc price. So if btc will reach 50k by end of 2020, we should expect ETH to be around 8k by then (only if we calculate according to the supply numbers) . But we all know ETH is highly undervalued right now .

So I have two  questions

1. What do you all think ETH Price will be ?

2. Why do you think that price will be possible ? Give us a reason be it technical ?

Lets speculate only until Dec, 2020.
All possibilities can occur on the market. Most likely, the price of Ethereum will increase and by 2020 I can say it will be the best moment for altcoins, especially Ethereum.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash? on: July 14, 2019, 10:53:55 AM
Recently I saw Coinmarketcap, Litecoin's position was in 4th place, meaning it has taken over the position of Bitcoin Cash despite the current red market conditions. Litecoin has been very active in the past few months.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get your hopes too high on: July 13, 2019, 11:25:56 AM
Don't get your hopes too high when promoting bounty projects especially bounties with very high allocations like in millions of $$$ ,they are never the same again unlike in the past ,all you have to do now is just depend on yourself and promote good projects and wait for end results.
Current conditions must be applied by bounty hunters. The difference is very far from what happened in the past. The concept that must be done by bounty hunters is to see the project and do it casually. In any work there must be a target even though the work promotes the bounties project.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ideal Time to Accumulate more Alts? on: July 13, 2019, 07:57:18 AM
Guys!

Do you think like me this is ideal time to buy more alts? We got now correction on bitcoin and we test support lines on ltc and eth. So? Buy Yet?
The right choice is ETH and LTC. These two altcoins currently, in my opinion, are the most interested in trading on the market. I think it's ideal for Ethereum and Litecoin. I wish you success.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will IEO be good in the future? on: July 12, 2019, 04:41:11 PM
I have now some money but still earning to invest more in an IEO. I have heard celer IEO and investor get x6 of its investment. I was move away by this profit in an instant, i want also so i keep money, my question is after all good feedback of IEO, will IEO be like Ico which failed in the market or will IEO be last longer?
I have also made topics in this forum around ICO and IEO. From this topic a discussion emerged which led me to believe that the IEO was better or more trusted by the ICO, although in my opinion it was the same as long as seriousness was prioritized.
What if we just follow those who are many, friend.
200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can bounty hunters reclaim their respect? on: July 12, 2019, 02:18:44 PM
I created this post to hear from you bounty hunters ,the way some developers treat bounty hunters this days is very bad , they know that many bounty hunters  needed money so badly so they take us so cheap ,I wish bounty hunters can somehow co-op to promote projects that bind by our own rules.

I wish there is something like' we must pay bounty hunters, their payment first before anything else',the same way they take exchanges payment serious .

Is there any solution for this?
How can we make them see that without bounty Hunters their projects awareness will be so low to none?
We (bounty hunters) are underestimated by many in our work in promoting the project. In my opinion, after 2017 it happened until now. Actually, in my opinion, they know our role clearly. Maybe they have started to find new strategies to make a famous project. From me there is no solution.
