441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange HACKED, $500,000,000+ of XEM stolen? (Japan) on: January 26, 2018, 04:39:47 PM
Yikes! I keep most of my cryptocurrency in etherdelta and coinbase like an idiot. I guess I should start sending it to my electrum or exodus wallet to be safe.

How likely is it for MEW to get hacked?

I missed out on buying ethereum around $10 almost exactly a year ago. I think about it all the time and it bothers me a lot. I also check my portfolio like twice an hour at the minimum due to the volatility of the market. I understand you and feel your pain. I guess the only thing I can offer is a bit of advice....take it all as a learning experience and be thankful at least now you know what's up and still have time to capitalize on the economic revolution we are all apart of.
445  Other / Serious discussion / Re: 2-Factor Authentication on: January 26, 2018, 03:35:40 PM
Is there any loss of privacy while using 2 Factor authentication?
If you use Google Authenticator on an android phone (where essentially you have linked your google id), to authenticate the login of a third party website, can google link your google id with the credentials of the third party website?

John Macafee got hacked from using 2FA. It gave the hackers the ability to recover his phone number. Read about it by googling it. I never liked the idea of it anyways because of a few reasons. I have turned it off since Macafee's hack back in December.

Both the site and app have been down for over 24 hours. I wonder what gives? Anyone know what is up?

I heard a few people talking about not being paid since November too. Maybe this team finally decided to call it quits.

This was an awesome site/app and truly unique. The best of its kind for the fun factor alone.

I hope it comes back. Sad

Hi beginner here, thank you for the useful tips on surveys.

You are welcome. When I started out this method was all I had. Don't worry about haters and people that like to complain about how you earn. This actually works so enjoy and start earning.

Since this channel has become a little less useful than it was, I have compiled a short list of helpful airdrop resources for you.

There are some Telegram channels and Twitter accounts that list airdrops as they launch. Here are a few to check out:

and by mixing all information you get pretty much all the airdrops running...  Grin

I agree to mix everything to get fast info.

If i had merit points to give away, i would now

Appreciate the thought. All "merit" is always welcome! I noticed some more people asking for this same info. Check this list for a comprehensive listing of all current airdrops. Some of these airdrops have limited space and/or are time sensitive, so I recommend checking them often and filling out forms quickly. Over the last few months I have made quite a large amount of money from doing airdrops. This is a great way to get involved with crypto for 0 risk (assuming you don't give away your private key and you don't donate to airdrops)...

I've noticed many people quoting this and reposting, but they are altering the links and groups for their own benefit. Please if you are going to quote it add to the bottom under the quoted part, don't deceive others and manipulate the text. This was posted to help people not for my benefit. If you think something should be added quote this and put it at the bottom and I will add it. Thanks and enjoy the airdrops!

Please someone tell me about Airdrops, what is it and how one can participate to earn tokens. Thanks

Airdrops are amazing and highly addictive. You can get lucky like with the lottery and hit it big. I made over 1k last month from airdrops. I do as many as I can and about 1 in 5 pays off. Pretty good. Here is a list to help you:

451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will this increase the price for bitcoins again? on: January 26, 2018, 11:54:01 AM
Stock trading mobile app provider Robinhood is planning to enter the crypto-trading bandwagon.

The company was announced in 2013 as a mean to democratize stock trading. They announced that they will soon enroll in bitcoin and etherum trading with their mobile app.
It may perhaps attract the attention of several new users who are involved in stock trading but not crypto trading and perhaps bitcoins can again get a good number of investors which will gradually increase the price for bitcoins.

The company explained..
"We view entering crypto as a way to extend our user base and build our brand."

What do you think? Will it be profitable to us or this news will have no effect on the price?
Perhaps according to me, the demand for bitcoins and etherum may increase which can rise the price for those cryptos.

I don't think Robinhood's app will do anything for the price of bitcoin, but I think bitcoin will rise again soon to over 15k. Lots of fud right now, but it will soon pass.
452  Other / Beginners & Help / From $0 to $100 in crypto by doing surveys and a few other tricks. on: January 26, 2018, 11:39:48 AM
It really works. This is how I started off.

Q - Are there any good sites that I can earn crypto by doing surveys? Do any of the sites pay directly to my wallet?

Yes, there are quite a few. I used them to make my very first $100 in crypto. You can use pay walls with surveys, from OfferDaddy and Offer Toro from a few sites that pay in bitcoin only, and you will make the most doing this, but I'll also tell you about altcoins surveys. Make sure you have a coinpot account set up. It's free and you can also use your.coin pot account to do browser mining (mine litecoin if you do) and you can make an extra $10-$15 per month in litecoin which isn't bad when starting off. You can also exchange coins within the coinpot wallet to any other coin for free. They have bitcoin, bitcoin cash, dash, dogecoin, and litecoin. If you earn a bunch of bitcoin from surveys and think litecoin is going to go up alot, change your btc to ltc for freewithin the wallet and you can earn even more if you time your coin exchanges correctly. I figured I would give you as much help as possible so you can earn the most as you start by using tricks it took me a while to learn. Anways...back to the surveys.

You can earn anywhere from 2k satoshi to 60k satoshi per survey using the first method described below. No faucets can compare to this. This is the best way to make your first $100 in crypro by earning it.

For btc use bonusbitcoin.com and click "earn more from offers" to bring up their pay wall. This pays directly to your coinpot wallet and does so instantly without a fee. You can make $30 a day here if you really work for it, and it is by far the best way to start earning crypto from nothing invested. When you finally go through a ton of surveys your earnings will slow until they add more which is about once month. OfferDaddy usually has 100+ surveys if you take the survey to unlock high paying surveys found in the OfferDaddy tab.

For altcoins use earncrypto.com. You can choose dozens of altcoins to earn and get paid in. Be aware you will have your earnings in their wallet and will need to reach certain thresholds before withdrawing and it is also a fee. They are working on a method to withdraw directly to your coinbase account for free but it's not working yet. Do the Peanut Labs surveys , as they are the best. Here you will be lucky to make $15 a day and it will take you 5 hours to do so.

If you found this helpful please click the "merit" button in the top right. Thanks.
453  Other / Beginners & Help / A quick guide for beginner bounty hunters: Picking good bounties. on: January 26, 2018, 11:06:31 AM
I have been doing bounties for a little while now and I can tell you that there is a massive difference between a good one and a bad one. Good bounties have good bounty managers, they represent good projects, teams and companies, they pay you well for your time, and they can actually be enjoyable to participate in. Bad bounties can literally be a waste of time and that is terrible. So how do you know which bounty to pick?

First, make sure you have a high enough rank to join the bounty you are interested in.

Pick a bounty that has a lot of action in the thread with a lot of high ranks involved. If you see many hero members and legendary then most likely it is for a reason and the bounty is worth doing.

Find bounties where you can do multiple campaigns, like twitter, facebook, and telegram, for example. This way you can get more stakes for one bounty by doing many campaigns for it and get max stakes, maximizing your tokens for your effort.

Check the project whitepaper, website, social media pages, and other information you can find and make sure you feel like it has potential to be great. The better the project, the more your tokens will be worth and the better your wages become.

Lastly make sure that the bounty has enough money backing the campaigns to make it worth your while. Try and find bounties with a lot of capital allocated to the campaigns, but without a ton of people. This way you get more tokens per stake and more pay for your time and effort.

If this helped please consider hitting the merit button in the top right to show your appreciation. Hope this teaches you how to make more from your bounties.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In what coin to invest 70$? I just have no more money( on: January 26, 2018, 10:45:47 AM
Maybe you should try and get it on an ICO, but be advised most have a minimum of $100 to participate. So don't get all excited about an ICO until you know you can participate from your country, pass the KYC, and afford the minimum buy in. Use icobench.com or a similar site and do sone research. If you do it correctly you can easily turn your $70 into $250 and then flip it over and over.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A free airdrop on: January 26, 2018, 10:31:28 AM
Yes this is not allowed. Not only are you breaking the rules by posting your affiliate link, you actually created an entire thread to do so.

458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Twitter campaign questions. on: January 25, 2018, 09:11:30 AM
Hi guys! So I recently joined a few Twitter campaign/bounties and I'm just wondering if they're worth it? And does it pay good or do they really pay you? I'm just a bit worried since this is actually my first time doing these things and I don't want to waste my time participating and in the end I don't get paid at all. Maybe you have some tips for me? Tips maybe to make me more efficient in these Twitter campaigns or how to know if these campaigns are legit or not. Anything will do really, and I would really appreciate your help if you give me some.

Twitter campaigns are my favorite type of bounty. I am currently doing 15 at once. I like Twitter campaigns because you can do many at the same time (unlike signature campaigns), and because you don't have to overload your real friends with content they don't want to see and may block or defriend you because of it (Facebook campaigns). Content campaigns are OK, but take a lot of work and creating one piece of content can take an hour. Telegram campaigns usually don't pay much at all, but you should always do them since they only take a minute or two. My last 3 twitter campaigns paid over $1200 in total. Make sure you either do as many as you can, or pick the most promising projects to do.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How to find good ICOs - List of the Best Resources on: January 25, 2018, 09:04:49 AM
Hello there. I use quite a few resources to keep up with new ICOs, ICO updates, and ICO reviews. Before I post a few links to some good resources I would like to explain a few things I have learned that may help you out on your crypto adventures.

1. Do your own research on an ICO you are interested in. Check the website, whitepaper, team, roadmap, and social media pages at the very least. If everything looks legit and professional, then, and only then, consider making an investment. Never take someone else's word as truth and fact without doing your own homework first.

2. Even though you see an ICO being advertised all over the place do NOT assume it is a good investment. See #1 and also check the resources listed below to make sure it is something you feel confident investing in.

3. Try and pick ICOs not just because you think you can buy their tokens cheap and flip them for a quick profit. The best ICOs will be the ones that you truly believe in and have some understanding of their ideas, beliefs, business model, and technologies. I got involved with Sirin Labs because I believed in their team, project, products, and ideas. It has paid off big time and because I believed in them, I chose to be a part of their ICO. I also followed step #1.

460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: January 25, 2018, 07:20:47 AM
Ethereum has such a strong future for many reasons. The majority of ICOs are being launched on using the Ethereum technology which only makes Eth a sure bet for the future of crypto. Considering that all ERC20 tokens require Eth for a transaction, the plethora of ICOs only means that Eth will be the most valuable cryptocurrency at some point. I can't believe Eth was only $10 a year ago. Absolutely amazing...!
