The following are some of the easiest way to figure out a scam airdrop 1. They will ask you to donate 2. They will ask for your private key
Feel free to add yours in case there are many more. Best regards and happy airdrop chase.
HERE ARE SOME BIG ONES! They don't link to a website on the google doc. They have no website to link to. They use images they found in google for social media profile pics. They misspell every other word in their airdrop form. They forget to ask you for your eth address to send the airdrop to.

Are you looking to hold or trade? You could do some short-term buy and flips and probably make out very lucratively, but it would be much more risky than just buying say, ETH or BTC and holding until you decide to dump.

I read some topics on reddit about crypto kitties and some people that they sold their kitties for 250ETH? WTF? What is this ?
CryptoKitties lets players buy and breed "crypto-pets" on Ethereum's blockchain network. The real problem is this game put too much stress on Ethereum network and is in charge of approximately 20% total traffic. I think it will be banned from Network or there will be a fork to get rid of this game. I have nothing against but imagine is getting now to main media, and viral on all news portal, reddit, facebook, youtube. What will happen if 5 other crypto copycats create a similar game on Etereum Network? stand still and transaction fees will increase. This craze didn't start yet for good, it's a good time to stop it before is too late. What the heck is this lol. I just got suckered into making an account and I will probably be breeding kitties within the hour...oh god... From what I have gathered in a short time, this seems to be more profitable than airdrops and bounties And then crypto went to the kitties..............

Nice name for a token and project. Hopefully you will live up to it and shoot for the moon. Good luck!

Could be possible only if you include all the cryptocurrencies created just to make a profit off an ICO and then split. Those are what is making up 95% of the current ICO market, so yeah that COULD be possible. After this big ICO fad is over and there is some transparency or regulation occurring, there will be less scamcoins and more legit ICOs. 2018 may be a year where people see btc hit 50k and the next closest coin is only 1/20th. Who knows!?

In the future some of these altcoins from recent ICOs HAVE to be able to rise consistently in value over time. I can see dumping altcoins that had hype, but no real long term sustainable value, but some of these projects look very promising and over time the cream will rise to the top. It might take a few years, but this pattern won't always be so common.

Well that will be nice seeing as it's the only coin I have been able to mine and get any significant amount from. I have been trying to mine using various tools and nicehash is decent for btc for a simple GUI miner, but I found a nice GUI miner for LTC and it's been getting me about 500k litoshi/day. I know that isn't great or anything, but for me it's decent. Any rise in LTC will make me happy so I look forward to see what this news is about.

I tried to use debit and my bank put a fraud alert on the card during the verification process. Cleared it with the bank and now coinbase wont add my card to the payment method. I messaged support and they are swamped I guess. They haven't got back to me.
I've considered Kraken as my next move if this goes into next week. They do wire transfers from what I read. I'm in the US.
Just wanted to see what all of the options were for US customers. Like I said.. I'm new to this.
I have had a few friends that went through the same issues with coinbase recently. Here is a link to a thread on coinbase which explains the answer to your exact question.. https://www.coindesk.com/information/buy-litecoins/I would advise using whatever exchange has the lowest fees and then pick which has other features that you find the most valuable for you specifically.

Neither...why not just hold it until it doubles up again. It went from $1800 to $10,800 in about 6 months. What do you think is going to happen in another 6 months? Just hold on to it. When it doubles in price, sell half your coins and profit like that. Wait for it to double again, sell half..etc. I would say to only do this if you REALLY need the money, or are VERY scared of the internet or crypto crashing. Otherwise JUST HOLD.

So let's say I have some airdrop, let's take SGR for example and it is in my MEW wallet. Let's say that I have over $100 USD worth of SGR based on coinmarketcap numbers and I want to convert it to btc or ethereum. I do not have any btc or ethereum anywhere.
I just read about the gas issue and I think my coins may be stuck in MEW? Even if I try to pull some coins out of Coinpot and transfer them to Faucethub or something I don't think I would have enough to cover all the transactions. I have only like 250k satoshi in Coinpot.
What should I do? Any recommendations or advice?
Thanks, Anthony

I get most of my crypto news from here at bitcointalk. I find the community to be pretty knowledgeable about upcoming news and events. I also belong to a few crypto groups on Facebook which help sometimes, but for the most part they are used strictly for referral link spam. Reddit is nice too and so isn't Twitter, you just need to know where to look on those sites to get info. Google will always be the best though

You should be taking a good look at the Whitepaper, Roadmap, and Team for any ICO that you are interested in. I personally think that the ANN thread and website is also an easy indicator of how much effort is put into an ICO. Take a look at Sirin Labs and Crypterium for some good examples of stellar ICOs.

|
|
I would say Crypterium and Sirin Labs look the best right now. Crypterium is going to change the payment processing market within cryptocurrency and I think they may end up being the leaders. Sirin Labs is going to change the hardware that the crypto community uses and will most likely end up being the go-to company for phones and computers if you dabble in crypto. These are my top 2 choices. Datum looks strong too, so doesn't SMS Chain.

Michael Novogratz considers that Bitcoin could be at $40,000 at the end of 2018. "Ethereum, which I think just touched $500 or is getting close, could be triple where it is as well." - he said on Monday on CNBC's "Fast Money."
Considering that Ethereum was hovering around $300 for a while and is now climbing again, it is very likely that we will see it hit $1k before the summer. This is considering the rate at which is has been climbing and also the rate that bitcoin has been increasing in value. Ethereum is pretty much second in line only to bitcoin and with that being said, it is very probable that Ethereum will reach $5k within the next couple years, let alone $1500. I had a friend but some Ethereum 2 weeks ago ans she has already made a good amount of money from that one investment.

Do we need to provide a report?
Yes, please post your links within your discussion thread on the bounty platform! Cheers Hello. I have been following this project since I heard about it and I can't believe I have a chance to participate in the bounty! I signed up on the Bancor site and registered for 3 different bounties (Twitter, Telegram, Signature). My only question is: I can't seem to update a discussion post without "replying" to it. So it seems like My posts will have a ton of replies as I keep track of my tweets for the twitter campaign and posts for the signature. Is this the way it is supposed to be set up? Thanks!
