I just have to say thank you, 1.7.0 was great and very stable but 1.7.1 is by far the best miner out to date. running (4) 480 8gb incredible rock solid stability.
after 24hrs no hangs no drops no issues. just amazing

something wrong on nanopool with this miner newer seen smthg like this on SRB.and sometimes rig power consumption decrase to 100w from 1300w's all it's clearly possible to understand from vega's fan noise.Usualy do this every 5 min. maybe much more early. 2018-11-10 22:54:53] Pool xmr-eu1.nanopool.org invalid RPC ID received. - Added staggered GPU start-up to reduce GPU crashes.
- Added CPU verification for CNv8 and associated --no_cpu_check option.
- Fixed crash on pool authentication error.
- Added --pool_broken_rpc work-around option for pools that violate json rpc spec.
- Added option to reorder by PCIe bus numbers.
- Added --list_devices option to show available devices.
- Added changed stats formatting to indicate which numbers are accepted/rejected/hw-error shares.
- Added uptime to stats.
Hopefully this release addresses a lot of the bugs you guys have reported! As you can see from the change list, we've been pretty busy this week  At last it's working on polaris.İnit problem or i don't what was it gone. power cons. -%8-10 ,hash gain hynix -%1-2(980-985h) samsung +%4-5(1025-1045h) elpida +%3-4 (990-1020h)custom straps,strange decrase on hynix mems..Anyway Good job dev.. |

Still same problem on win10 18.5.1 rx470-480 series G4400 4Gb ram.All rigs stable on srb 1.6.8-9
Gah this is annoying. It doesn't feel like the init problem we've been battling though. Do you have all the standard environment vars set when running the miner? Srb typically sets them with "setx" in the start bat file, so they should be persistent if you run srb as well. I mean these:
set GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE=100
set GPU_MAX_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS=1
set GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
set GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
set GPU_MAX_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT=100
We should really include them in our example start bat file, that's a mistake. Last, if you run with something silly like 2+2 for all cards, does it work or not? To speed up this process, would you be willing to hook up on Discord or Telegram? So much easier when you can ping-pong questions in realtime rather than this thread . "setx" change nothing .No problem on init but most of the cards not start .2+2 vs still same.i can just use your miner with vega rigs without problem, any of the polaris rigs not work.İ have to manage many rigs and not easy to find a spare time hook up telegram . |

Honestly, the reported hashrate from pool dashboard is different from the miner logs and z-enemy miner gives me different hashrate result.
Anyway, I'd still like to share my own graphics card hashrate with z-enemy miner.

Whenever the vards initialize or not, the miner works super nice from what I have seen so far. I am busy all day optimizing my rigs for this miner. If some cards don't initialize, miner still works, just displays 0h/s for that card, and CPU usage is high, so he is probably stuck trying to initialize the cards or something.
Then, i just quit the miner and try few times and eventually all cards initialize.
Yes, me too. For vmozara's problem, I'm 97% certain this issue would be solved with a staggered init. These Celerons are just too weak for a parallel init for > 2-3 GPUs or something. I'll add some more options now to control the behavior at startup, then send you a PM. Need to wait for todxx to provide a new build, but it would be nice to connect and do a few verification runs instead of just pushing a new version out there not knowing if it actually solves the problem. @wyzdic, are you having the same issue as vmozara? It feels like we might have a different problem, do you get a random nr of gpus going or always the first six? Furthermore, I've heard about people that have issues in general getting > 6 Vegas going under Linux, are you on Win or some Linux version? İ have the same problem 8card polaris systems(many) on win10 1709/Blockchain driver.G4560 -4Gb ram 32GB vm Random number of gpus's not going,sometimes gpu0 sometimes gpu 3 or others not working, not always same gpu. |

Guys,
I need help.
My mining rigs are riserless motherboards with 7x vega.
These boards have Celeron 3885 CPU that appears to be very slow.
When the miner starts, it in parallel initializes each card and connects to the pool. But once the shares start coming, the CPU is busy with something (probably verifying the found shares?) and never completes initialization of some cards. Sometimes 3 cards start, sometimes 6 cards start, sometimes all 7. But I have to manually stop and start the miner many times until I get lucky and initialize all 7 cards.
Is it possible to introduce some delay between card initialization and mining start, or disable CPU share verification?

Same problem here,2-3 cards starts even a g4560 cpu with polaris series. No problem with vegas... |

Daha önce resimlerle detaylı anlatım paylaşarak trifaze sistemi monofaze olarak madencilikte nasıl kullanılacağını yazmıştım. Kendi araştırmalarım sonucu ilk deneyimimdi. Kullandıkça sistemi geliştirdim ve kendi panomu hazırlamak en güzeli. 10 gün kadar önce 120 adet ekran kartı satın aldım. 4 x 6 trifaze kablo kullanarak sayaçtan daireye 7. kata NYM antikron kablo çektim. Panomun içerisine kaçak akım rölesi de kullanarak kablo dağılımını prizlere yaptım. 20kW'ye kadar çekim yapacağımı hesapladım. diğer iki depomda olduğu gibi ilk faturamda cezalı gelecek ve proje çizilerek kurulu güç yükseltilecek. Ondan sorna sorun olmayacak. Şuan için enerji firmasına başvuru yapmadım. Kablo tesisatım için de hiçkimseye söylemeden değişim yaptım. Ne yaptığınızı biliyorsanız sorun olmaz.
Yaptığınız hesapta yanlışlık var.4x6 kablo 2 faz,1nötr 1 toprak içerir.Teorik olarak her bir faz için 6lık kabloda 30A geçmemenizi tavsiye ederim.Lakin biz minerları 7/24 yük altında ve görece yüksek ortam ısısnda kullanmaktayız.30Ax2 :60A 220x60:13.2KW ye tekabül edecektir ki ben bahsi geçe durum sebebiyle 10kw'ın geçişmemisini tavsiye ederim.Ki aynı 4x6 kablo le 1 nolu depomda 9kW yı geçmemek üzere kurdum. Yaklaşık 8 ay önce yapmış olduğum projede,(Tedaştan sözleşme gücü 22.740 olarak onay alındı) bahsi geçen güç için ,5x10 luk kablo kulladım,elektrik şakaya gelmez. Güç artırımı için bina ana kablosu,iç tesissat kabloları vs tüm altyapı için uygunluk oluşturuldıktan ve elektrik tadilat projesi ile birlkte tedaşa başvurmanız,ön onay almanız,sonra tedaşın onayladığı(ki bu noktada tedaş trafo,faz yükü vs bir sürü parametre üzerinden oanaylayabilir veya onaylayabilir) ) projeyi eksiksiz uygulayıp tekrar tedaşın kontrolünü tabi olarak uygunluk vermesi durumunda güç arttırımı gerçekleşmekte. |
