Profits from mining is just additional thing of bitcoins. Dont forget main goal of it - anonymous, fast, non-goverment currency... Mining can be unprofitable due to many circumstances, not only difficulty...

65  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Monitor multiple pools - www.btc-poolwatch.com on: June 04, 2011, 05:11:07 PM
Cant u grab some info directly from their page?

Anyway it looks brilliant, but have no use for me, since I have only 1 miner now. For others its really useful. GREAT WORK.

@ PEAO
Yes, it will work.

@hiVe

1. check if u entered correct login and password
2. make sure u put rising phoenix in phoenix miner folder
3. make sure u entered correct platform in extra flag field (if u are using multiple platform ofc)
If none of this happened please upload here screen with your settings so maybe I'll find that mistake (also specify your rig (OS,SDK,GPU)

Ech, just went outside and got message that my worker is down. Came back to see that this was false alarm. Tycho is joking at me  Grin Good to see you're trying so hard.
68  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Phoenix Rising: Front End GUI to Phoenix Miner on: June 04, 2011, 09:12:23 AM
@ up

Have you added VECTORS to extra flags field in 1.31?

Tycho, wouls it be possible to add one stat to workers? Column with IP of worker (last known IP from which worker sent share). My internet sometimes stuck, to remoterestart I need to type current IP, but IP is changed every 24h. With that stat I would be able to remote access everything.

To Tycho:

Tycho,

Would be really nice if you reply all questions above or just say "Yes, I've read this and will reply later".

2) Does automatic payout work at all ? If yes, when ? I've set it to 0.01 and never seen any auto payout for last 2 weeks.

Thank you!

It starts to work 24h after last manual payout. Tycho anwsered so around 100th page.

Did any on you having problems tried to restart your router (not reconnect, but restart)?
73  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: June 02, 2011, 12:13:29 AM
Nevermind the PSU, good case would clean that mess. Today bought HAF 912, clean work, cooler temps compared to non-case option. Just waiting for second card, so I can upload photos from full rig.
74  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Multiple cards with PCI-E-x1 - newbie question on: June 02, 2011, 12:07:55 AM

75  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Multiple cards with PCI-E-x1 - newbie question on: June 01, 2011, 11:11:45 PM
Just done moding. And:
ITS WORKING, even when second card doesnt have enough space on mobo (bios battery). BTW, can I remove that battery?
76  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: If you can explain this, I will send 1 BTC your way... on: June 01, 2011, 10:27:28 PM
My anwser is resistance. Maybe after loading OS voltage is little dropping, so that speciffic cable creates too big resistance. (I think, that after loading OS card turns idle - less power used - too big resistance - motherboard thinks there is no card). It would be more doubtful if other cards turns idle too (in other slots).

Other slots could not have power drop added (as power saving or sth like that)

To compile!:
Download AutoIt
During installation check 'edit script'
Open the script
Tools>compile
It will compile to OS u are currently on.

My 3x5870 mining machine
using two power adapters (400W for motherboard+hdd and 600W for VGA adapters)
The case was small for third card, so I decided to cut some on the bottom with circular saw.

Nice slippers ;p And not so bad idea.
79  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~1600 Gh/s Mining Pool] _0% FEE_, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: June 01, 2011, 10:12:35 PM
Btw, had again my 'router lockup'. This time I could ping deepbit, but browser or miner couldn't reach it.

Solved by restarting of router. If U still have connection issues and U dont want to switch pool just try to restart router ( not reconnect ) . That should help for a while.

To every1 having problem reaching deepbit server.
