41  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: April 03, 2014, 09:33:21 PM
UPDATE: today I already recieved a replacement for the damaged device.

UPS was very fast. Took them not even 24 hours. Thanks to bitmine for resolving this problem fast.

New device is happily hashing away together with its 800 GHs twin: http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/16bWt62xq5rmQuGscq7L7GuZfYmZkkvN5x

What I don't get is why eligius shows the devices hashing with 800 GH/s each, when in fact I am letting them run in turbomode of about 950 GHs?

Can anyone explain the discrepancy here?

Thanks.
did they paid for your shipping fee returning the miner to them?
I've email them and no replies yet.

I still haven't received my CPP yet, order is still not complete until i received my CPP, mine was a september order and CPP is capped at 50%.
43  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 30, 2014, 09:22:06 PM
I received my order but no CPP came with it and worst thing is my order date was mid september and I just got it on Friday and also one of my module is broken.

I have email support@bitmine.ch , Are they going to pay for your shipping fees?

Yes I think so, I emailed them a copy of the receipt, so they know how much it cost me to send it back.
I will call them next week again, to clarify things.

But I am only two days into this, I don't know yet how bitmine will react. They said a few things on the phone, but I don't know what will happen next week.

I will keep you updated.

If your device is broken, or a module, immediately make photos of it and send the module back to bitmine, you have 1 year guarantee.
If only a module is broken, just send the module.

My broken device has obviously had damage because it was mishandled in transport, it looks like it fell exactly on a corner from a large enough height, so the whole device is somewhat deformed:
I emailed them and they should have a return label for me, so i can ship it back to them since it's insured.

Did they add the CPP with your order?

Yes, they have.

In most cases they will do that.

The only exception where you don't get the CPP delivered with your order, is when they owe you so many moduls that they have to send you additional devices.
(Or when your device is already fully populated, for example a 1 TH Coindesk. If they owe you 50% CPP on that 1 TH Coindesk, you will recieve an additional 600 Ghs Coindesk sometime later (but not necessarily))

But aslong as the moduls can be packed into the same device you recieve them with your order, the same time.

See their CPP: http://bitmine.ch/?page_id=850

Last Question/Answer:

Quote
Q: How can you upgrade my hashing speed if my purchased unit is already full populated with hashing modules?

A: You will receive an additional unit FOR FREE with at least the hashing power upgrade you were entitled to. Due to some logistics constraints, your additional unit will not necessarily be shipped together with your original order.

Good to see you are fine and mining  Cool

Thanks!

Well, mining with 50% of what I ordered... I feel like half-paralyzed...
Damn, why was I the guy to recieve a damaged device???

Imagine that I am located in switzerland too, like bitmine. So a very short transport distance..
But still the device gets damaged.
Freaking hilarious.  Shocked

A reason more to finally get myself a car... these days you can't trust anyone with fragile deliveries.  Angry

Did they add the CPP with your order?
46  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 27, 2014, 09:27:17 PM

I feel the same, more details need to be announced but then again difficulty is going up so fast...

Hi,
Just wanted to share our experience on Bitmine. We placed an order last year, end september, upgraded the original order 2 times, got a coupon for 50% more hashing power (because it was not delivered on time) and lastly a compensation for the delay of the order (customer protection plan 10% per 10 days delay). In february we were thinking about asking the refund but I sticked with them. So what happened.
we got them at the phone several times, mail many times, discussed the compensation and then we drove 8.5 hours to Camorino.

Yes they do exist, they are real and they're human Smiley

We were welcomed by Christian Anselmi and greeted by Giorgio and other staff.
We discussed the current delays and as it seems they are not caused by them but by other companies having to deliver parts, some deliver in time but not the quantities agreed upon, causing delays to complete order. Others delivered to late, and others have delivered wrong parts, all this with the result that they have very painful delays. They're pushing out as much orders as they can, testing each machine and refunding people who ask for it and ofcourse are eligable for it. We saw the warehouse and they are working around the clock to deliver.

Anyway:

We stepped out 2 hours later with 4 Coindesks Smiley

and now they're happily mining away

For what it's worth to the waiting customers, they're really trying to fix this as soon as possible.

Greetz,

stoffg

so when did you pick up your miners and how much CPP did they gave you?

anyone still holding the first customer batch neptune order?
50  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 27, 2014, 08:55:24 PM
CPP is not even shipped with your order and who knows when it will be shipped.

Did anyone (order from December 2013, batch #2) received a Coincraft Desk yet ?

Not that I'm aware off, most are September orders

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=364155.0

And it seems they ran out of power supplies

How is that even possible?

They knew how many orders were queue up. I can understand there is a delay in the custom PCB that needs a new revision or that the ASICs are delayed, but power supplies? What's next, no screws for the cases?

I am a batch 2 avalon customer converted to coincraft products and I still have no miner yet  Embarrassed
I've a queue position# 76
54  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 13, 2014, 02:45:28 AM
it really would be helpful if Bitmine list the order or queue number of the desks here or on their site, at least people will know how many units were shipped so far.
can anyone confirm that the CPP is limited to a max of 50%
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: March 13, 2014, 02:38:50 AM
So finally I get a response after almost 2 weeks and they say that the information is invalid. I use a credit Union and as a result there is an intermediary bank that it has to flow through but since KNC's system doesn't allow for that they can't process the refund? I think they are just being lazy or this is a stall tactic. I'm going to be pissed if I need to open a new bank account for this. What a cluster&%@@.

Your credit union should be able to provide you with the information from what's called their correspondent bank so that you can get the wire transfer sent to you, then credited to your account. You'll probably need to get with an officer of the credit union as the tellers and "front facing" clerks generally can't get the required information about the credit union's account with a bank that you'll need.

Basically your credit union has an account at a bank that they use for processing transactions through the ACH and fed wire transfer systems, and SWIFT. That's the account that will need to receive the wire transfer from KnC, then once received credit the amount to your credit union account.

Good luck.

I did talk to an officer at the bank and provided KNC with the exact information. Funds are received by a US correspondence bank (JP Morgan) Swift code #1. From there the funds get sent to the Benificiary Bank in Canada, swift code#2 and account number of my beneficiary bank (local branch) this is where I have a transit #, Payee Name, Payee Acct # and Payee address.

KNC's Response to my legit info:

I can confirm that order 125XX has 1 miner and the price you paid 10,166 USD The bank details are not clear for us as you are providing with two bank accounts, two SWIFT codes and there is no routing/clearing number. The fields that we have in our banking system to fill in for transactions are:

Full name of account holder - The full name of the bank - The complete address of your bank - The routing/clearing number - The account number - SWIFT - Payment Comments: Please specify details, as in case if we type them wrong, there is possibility for payment not to reach the account.

it took me a month to get a refund I ran into the same situation as you my bank needed a settlement bank for USD funds, so I provided my bank swift code and the settlement bank swift code to them, the first refund request was rejected but I was never notified..., 2 weeks later I emailed support again to see what happen then they told me the info was wrong, I checked with the bank multiple times about the wire instructions info so I gave them the same info to KNC then it was rejected again, so 3 weeks passed still no refund, the only solution that I got to go around this is to take out the settlement bank info and receive the funds in the currency of your country instead of USD

I've actually sent many emails to convert my rig to a desk,...but no replies....i am going to email again, i hope this is true.
57  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unofficial BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 10, 2014, 12:07:42 AM

I don't understand this: "Bitmine will nun all jenen, die das Warten satt haben, gratis 50 Prozent leistungsfähigere Chips installieren."

Translation:
"From now on, bitmine will give for free 50 percent more powerful chips to all the customers who have had enough of all the waiting"

Why is this written like something new that is going to help us?

That's the old CPP plan, plain and simple.

Has bitmine told 20min this, like some wonderful news that will solve all problems and make everyone happy?

If bitmine would stop playing games and stop talking like politicians, and if they really cared about their customers, they would give everyone additional 50% hashing power (and I mean additional to the CPP)

How about that? It would also make people forget the turbomode false advertisement. (many people fell for that)

I mean, does bitmine want me to order additional modules and devices in the future, or do they not care at all?

Sorry but when I placed my order and paid it, there was no 50% cap on the CPP

When was that introduced?
I believe we both ordered RIGS, they better have no cap for the rigs?cause it's way past the 50%
58  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unofficial BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 08, 2014, 04:11:31 AM
The RIGS are still not in production...any updates...it should be dec. delivery..now we are moving to mid March and no signs of progress.
59  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unofficial BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 06, 2014, 04:05:27 AM
they have not replied to my email last week and I emailed them again..
60  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unofficial BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 05, 2014, 10:40:29 PM
so what's the official compensation on the RIGS if any?
