The people who ordered the rig who have an earlier queue are now behind the later batches for desks...so what's the update with this?
I rather change my order to desks then..there is no beneficial of having a RIG

I've asked for refund a month ago and still haven't gotten my refund ..kept on saying the wrong information for my wire,,i've checked multiple times it's all correct!
ANYONE HERE HAVE PROBLEMS GETTING THEIR REFUNDS! I THINK THEY WANT TO HOLD UP MY FUNDS
66  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 10, 2014, 03:22:24 AM

Have been visiting Bitmine for more testing and explicitly asked about that one: the rig uses 24V input, with that, the RSP-3000-24 delivers 3kW continuously.

zefir-

that power supply is good for europeans.. which power supply do they plan to supply for american and asian customers, where they dont have 240 volt a/c supplies handy ?

thanks

That's when an electrician is handy, just need them to wire a 240v outlet. I've got mine done.
67  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: February 07, 2014, 05:14:46 AM
Hmm, so Bitmine can design a custom ATX sized 3kW ATX PSU just like that while dozens and dozens of power supply companies all around the world can't? Something's fishy about this.

No need to speculate about that. What we use when testing locally in the Bitmine labs is a meanwell 3kW PSU - the wall of PSUs in the picture posted is exactly that.

I have look through the pdf file that Zefir posted and I cannot find which plugs or connectors does this PSU use, do you connect the wire directly into the input of this PSU or I'm missing something

71  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: January 26, 2014, 04:43:40 AM
since cointerra announced they are having problems running the miner at the specified speed and also running into higher power consumption than expected...bitmine should be having the same problem too..
But I don't mine getting the miner asap even at a lower speed rather than waiting forever...
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 24, 2014, 12:28:02 AM
that's what I thought if the neptune cost 10K they will refund you 10K,
no matter what you paid for or how many btc you paid for then, rite?
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 24, 2014, 12:22:52 AM
All this talk about refunds...   why?   Giving up with mining, just leave the thread.    My 4 Neptunes....

I paid 12 BTC for my Neptune.  With refund I'll be getting about 16.

Personally I think the difficulty is going to jump at least 10 fold by the time Neptunes are delivered.
Would you sell 300GH for 16 coins today?  I would, that is why I asked for a refund.

BTW, the difficulty might jump 15 or 20 fold.  I used 10 just to give you some idea.

I am not sure why would you get 16 btc,
they would refund you back in fiat which is 10K?

cryptostocks should be part of it too
76  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 23, 2014, 12:25:02 AM
Think again. $40k gets you 5 TH delivered next week. By the time you get the Neptunes, difficulty will be much higher. 5 TH now is far more profitable than 12 TH several months from now.
5th next week? Who sells them?
25+ Antminers from Bitmain.
https://www.bitmaintech.com/product.htm
3th of Antminers = 5kw (by taking 300watts per Antminer) = 31.654BTC (without shipping) = 25.8k $
3th of Neptunes = 2.5kw = 14.6BTC = 12k $

Two times more $$$ and watts for the same hash-power.

There is a really big difference here. You really can't even get a Neptune for at least another several months so why even compare right now?

All my friends requested refunds also for their Neptunes. In the bunch I think there was like 18 of them. Don't be surprised if you see some go on sale or we hear some news from KNC now. Once they see their very loyal customer base is dumping them out I'm pretty sure we'll eventually hear some thing from them soon. They only have one spokesperson here who isn't a sales person and can't really confirm on anything since all decisions are made by Sam. Only a matter of time we'll hear something. Once you are a millionaire and see possible money that could be yours leaving your bank account it starts to make you worry, no matter how much you have.

Or those of us who stand pat get extra hashing power or some other recompense.
or maybe discount on hosting

79  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Introcudtion to DualMiner USB (could mine both BTC and LTC) on: January 12, 2014, 09:30:55 PM
One of you said it would take one to replace a 7950 and the other said it would take 10 to replace one,
which is it, because it matters.

it only hashes upto 60Kh/s so you need 10 of these to give you 600Kh/s which equals to 1 of 7950
80  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Introcudtion to DualMiner USB (could mine both BTC and LTC) on: January 12, 2014, 09:07:24 PM
it takes approx. 10 of these to replace 1 of 7950 for ltc mining...price kind of steep
