Dear Guys, i have a problem with 2 modded blade from zoomhash/sevengnomes. It works for 5 days, then the first stopped and the day after the second stopped too. The fan doesn't work and i have only red light on ( no green light ). I can see tha blade in Hashra dashboard, it appears to mine at correct speed but it doesn't mine any share. I assume that is power related issues, i changed the PSU and cables without good results ( the same psu with same cables works perfectly on gridseed 5 chip). Contacted sevengnomes and i'm still waiting a reply after 2 days..... Any ideas on how to resolve?
thanks in advance
Marco
this is a support/tuning thread for the blades not .... a vendor support thread (zoomhash or whatever) ....

Dear all, i ordered 2 blades from zoomhash/sevengnomes on 27 May, received 19 June. it works 4 days than the first blade stopped to work and the day after the second too. The fan doesn't work , no green light on board ( only red light ). I can see the hashpower on hashra dashboard but it doesn't mine any shares. I'm waiting a definitive response from sevengnomes support from 4 days. Spent 1700$ , 4 mining days and no warranty on that products.... very BAD customer service....

IN STOCK new model: LA33M, 1000W. USD1700.
SHIPPING NEXT DAY
Wow, are you sure the wattage is correct as thats a power hog! Put 6 old Gridseed blades together and get the same hash power but less watts 840? Yep, looks like an ugly power consumption ... compared to gridseed black with 28MH and 450W ... but the price is hot.

Yeah, I agree. Unless Minera is running memcached for some reason (I can't imagine why it would), then it's definitely a poolside issue.
Minera doesn't use memcached and that message comes from cpuminer so as you said it's probably a poolside/miner issue. is there a way to auto tune blades ? too ... I mean have them clock upwards on low HW and so? I'm sick of doing it by hands ^^
|
|
|
...
I used cpuminer ... not the orginal cgminer which is on the orginal gridminer software included ... I clocked each blade ... to around 825 if there wasn't HW errors .. https://github.com/siklon/cpuminer-gc3355
|
|
|
After clocking each blade for it's own with CPUMiner the Black runs at 27-28mh ...

UPDATE: Added G-Black as it is working like a blade software wise (tested cgminer & cpuminer) ... how about the tuning of it? ....
Chips: 5 x 80 x GC3355 Mining Capability(Official Number):Scrypt: 26M Power Consumption:Scrypt: 450W/Unit ...

The Gridseed Blacks work with the same software like the ... Blades .... cpuminer, cgminer, bfgminer .... minera, scripta and so on ....

from what I see right now it's around 420W per 27MH ... around 24-25 @ pool clocked @ 800mhz(5s):27.07M (avg):26.94Mh/s | A:177888 R:6144 HW:7 WU:110.8/m (5s):27.17M (avg):26.95Mh/s | A:181984 R:6144 HW:7 WU:110.2/m (5s):27.16M (avg):26.95Mh/s | A:183008 R:6144 HW:7 WU:109.2/m (5s):27.12M (avg):26.95Mh/s | A:183008 R:6144 HW:7 WU:108.2/m (5s):27.11M (avg):26.95Mh/s | A:183008 R:6144 HW:7 WU:107.2/m (5s):27.09M (avg):26.95Mh/s | A:184032 R:6144 HW:7 WU:106.3/m (5s):27.10M (avg):26.95Mh/s | A:186080 R:6144 HW:7 WU:105.5/m (5s):27.08M (avg):26.95Mh/s | A:187104 R:6144 HW:7 WU:104.6/m

Lol why static ip?? DHCP exist from long time.... This way you know ... which miner is at which position ... which might be important if you use a few of them ....

MinerEU https://github.com/MinerEU/scripta_a2A2 controller update: Just so everyone knows, added new feature in this update 1, switch pools on the fly without restart 2, pool priority setting 3, frequency setting for each blade(over clock tuning ) 4, temperature sensor display 5, core info on each chip Are you sure, you have uploaded the right version? I installed posted version but I don't have these functions. Seems like it is a previous version. 1. The image I posted is from Innosilicon, probably an other fork then the one from minereu ... there are a few functions that aren't in the minereu version :-) 2.switching pools, pool priority setting, frequ setting, temp sensor, core info on each chip ... are all included. 3. .... however the cgminer might be adapted too in this image ... as innosilicon is the only one having closed cgminer source ... for the A2 there are a few functions more like the logo and the static ip ... at least I can say that the current performance of the unit I have tested the new image is runing at 92-93mh on pool side.
