I agree. Why should they sell those ASICs, if they could keep on mining with all that hashing power instead? I guess they have had some chat with some equihash devs and something will happen there. Maybe a fork for most important coins is comitted long ago without smaller miners knowing? Is zcash going to be new BTC (since ZEC is based on BTC) with the z-ability? Really uncertain here, what exactly is happening, but I am sure several people behind the scenes know (prob. zokoo is one of them) and are acting a role. Or they just got paid off by bitmain not to act on it,zokoo gets 20% from every minned block so he doesnt really need to care about it.As for how others will fight them bitcoinZ already came out with a suggestion https://github.com/btcz/bitcoinz/issues/38 |

You dont see the problem in fact that only one company can create asics for zec and that its already mining with them for at least 3 months?If they were world spread and easy to buy like gpus i would be fine with this but this way its all in hands of one company
What is wrong in it ? They didn't make something bad, no centralization. Other companies can make ASICs too, you can do it too. Don't blame people who are good in business, if you were able to do it I'm sure you will have the same practices. Yeah man i can make asics2 but i am already bussy with going to the Mars and finding cure for cancer,asics will be my next project after those 2 for sure.How its not a centralization if only one company makes them and mine them for months?And no other companies cant make them,you ever wonder why nvidia intel or any other large chip company didnt even tried to get in crypto mining?Its because bitmain would just reverse engineer those chips and kill the price of them thx to cheap work force since China dont care about copyrights |

I am guessing that not being able to buy more then one per customer miight have so affect on it,other reason is that people are still carefull seing how those who ordered cryptonight asics ended with 12k$ worth paper weight/room heather.Everyone is waiting to see if there will be fork or not-eth asics sold out when vitalik said that there wont be fork |

They said that Equihash is ASIC resistant because it requires a lot of memory, it doesn't mean it's ASIC proof and they never said that they will fight against ASICs all their life. As they say now, they cannot fight all their life against technology, they have more important things to improve their algorithm. I don't see any problem in ASICs (Bitcoin, Litecoin and others are still alive), only those who put all their money in GPU are afraid. People has to stop to talk about decentralization, everybody is looking to save his own investment, they just want money. it's hypocrisy.
If no ASIC, soon with ETH POS you will see million of GPU coming to increase the alt coins difficulty and then make GPU mining less profitable. And I prefer not talk about FPGA that cannot be stopped by a fork.

IMHO. If this is more of a hobby to you, go for it. For anyone that's investing and seeking a return, buying GPU's today seems ridiculous. With that PSU, I would add two 1070ti and be done. Adding two 1080ti is not ideal. It is indeed a hobby miner, but that doesn't mean that I don't want the upgrades to pay for themselves eventually. This rig was originally mining eth and produced enough coins before prices/difficulty got crazy so that it has paid for itself many times over. Regarding the 1070 Ti versus 1080 Ti and the PSU, what is "normal" power draw for an optimized 1080 Ti? 200 Watts? 300 Watts? 180-200 wats at 70-75 tdp for most 1080tis depending on the what algo you are mining but some can pull over 300 wats of you max it out.Sweet spot is ussualy around 65 tdp as they are most efficient there in wats/hash ratio |

Why should they be in trouble its not like zec will fork to combat asics,their dev team gets 20% from it anyway(and probably some more aside from bitmain)?I am guessing that at least 1/3 of total zec network hash already is coming from asics

So bitmain is getting one more coin under its total control that they can pump and dump while seling to people their old gear...I thought that people had enough with getting in bed with bitmain controled coins like bitcoin cash,cant they see that its only being used as official pump and dump china coin |

Think that knowing solidity is already enough to make you rich,friend of mine is doing smart contracts with it and is killing it.And its not like its hard to find job with it,according to him problem is time needed for doing it and they have to turn down customers all the time because of filled schedule

Personaly i prefer trading because even if i screw something in my calculation i can still sell it(even with some loss)then trapping your money for few months untill ico is inded and not knowing if you will ever see your invested money back.Just look at how many scam icos we had...

I think we can go back to this price, never doubt the potential of ETH, knowing that about half of the projects in the encrypted world are running on the basis of ETH, and now the market is waiting for the latest developments in the ICO policy, which may be the latest in one or two months, and I think ETH will come back soon.

I would go for ethereum clasic as its the only one coin that wasnt pumped this spring(besides litecoin) and it can be sold for dollars.Its not bad at all for quick flip if you are interested in it but its also a good long hodl as this year should be big for etc-they are working a lot on improving network and catching up with eth

IT WORKS ON WINDOWS-- My single 1080ti went from 32MH/s to 44MH/s ETH, and 950MH/s to 1320MH/s Blake2s (secondary algo). This is with no overclock or mods. I posted about this earlier just a couple pages before yours. Overclocking memory-only will get a miner 47MH/s ETH and over 1400MH/s Blake2s. It supposedly works well with Monero mining, also. --scryptr Monero is like 15% boost with it but for me overclocking memory was making rig unstable on ethereum  Guess that program is already pushing up the memory timings so it cant be oc ed that hard like it used to do |

Yeah i filled it out and it was accepted in 4 days i think,you might have missed the window for untill when kyc is accepted so probably the best choice for you is to ask them in their telegram bounty channel.Also tokens aint distributed yet |
