Why do all of you place the future and well being of the coin on Vegas Guy's shoulders....? The whole market has been tanking for quite a while now. What do you really think he can do to help the entire market...?
Sorry, but it's ridiculous!
"Come on, Vegas! Make our coin great again!! I know that no other coin out there is doing well right now, but I really need you to work your magic on this one!!!"
....give me a break....

Update...
I went into my "backups" folder, loaded the wallet file from immediately after I started the latest MN, and now, I am good to go. I still don't know exactly what happened, but I am whole again, and that's all that matters!

SO yeah....my coins are frozen. I am unable to send anything, because I am unable to unlock my wallet. This sucks....
I know the password, but it doesn't work. It just gives that error that I referenced in the above post.

Man, Im having all kinds of problems. I dont know what happened.
I set up a new MN yesterday. I have looked at the block explorer, and this new MN has gotten 2 payments, so all is fine on that end. The problem I am having is with my actual windows wallet. I am afraid to dick around with it too much, because I don't want to mess anything up. I shut down the wallet this morning since I had zero connections. When I restarted the wallet, it gave me some type of an error. I dont remember exactly what it said, but it took a while to open, and said that it was rescanning... When it finally opened, all of the aliases for my addresses were gone. Now, on the right, next to the payment, I no longer see MN1, MN2, etc....but now I just see the actual address which received the transaction.
If I open "receiving addresses", there is nothing listed.
Whenever I try to "Unlock Wallet", I get the following error...
"MinGW Runtime Assertion" Program D:\VEGAS\lasvegascoin-qt2.exe File: crypter.cpp, Line 247
...then the wallet closes. Long story short, I am unable to unlock my wallet....which, to me, seems like my coins are locked and I will be unable to send them.
If anyone has any idea what might be going on or what I could do to fix it, PLEASE let me know. Thanks!

Is anyone else having problems with VGS? All of my MNs are showing missing, and I am unable to connect to any peers

Vegasguy,
What kinda LTC you bringing in with that farm...? Is it doing good for you?

Ok. I followed all of your steps. When I reopen the wallet, it doesnt seem to want to synchronize... it says "Processed 68209 blocks of transaction...5 hours behind....", and never goes any further. Any ideas?
And yes, I am connected to peers. 16 at the time of typing this
Double check that you performed EVERY instruction I gave you. As you added the addnodes in Lasvegascoin.conf, close the wallet, and delete the peers file and reopen. Keep me updated. Vegas I saved the blockchain the first time, because I didnt want to have to wait for it to download again. After deleting it, everything is working fine now. Thanks for the help!

I had some very erratic staking rewards today....did anyone else notice this...?
At any given time, I usually have 20-25 Immature VGS. Currently, I have 218... Very odd.... I looked through the transactions, and it appears as though each of my MNs is being awarded a "minted" reward every 10 minutes or so.
I'm not in any way complaining, just wondering what the deal is.
Update - I have reviewed things and it appears as though I havent gotten a "Masternode Reward" for 2 days now. Everything I have gotten has been a "Minted" reward...and I've been getting lots of them. Something is definitely up. I am currently at 514.67 Immature coins. That is insane Ok.. then your wallet is forked. You are correct, something is very wrong with your wallet. Ok.. here is what to do.. Make sure your on latest version. (V2.5.0.1) Either way, go into your lasvegascoin.conf and delete all the addnodes, and add these.. addnode=213.32.68.31 addnode=2a02:c207:2008:3921::1 addnode=2a02:c207:2008:3922::1 addnode=45.61.144.106 addnode=159.65.102.217 addnode=209.250.242.76 addnode=205.204.95.87 addnode=213.136.86.202 addnode=205.204.95.88 addnode=45.77.59.206 addnode=45.32.79.153 addnode=24.116.110.187 addnode=145.239.93.54 addnode=185.244.194.57 addnode=145.239.93.54 addnode=68.224.77.122 addnode=185.244.194.55 addnode=81.169.221.142 addnode=185.244.194.59 addnode=173.212.238.176 addnode=80.240.16.198 addnode=185.244.194.56 addnode=145.239.93.54 addnode=185.244.194.53 addnode=213.136.86.205 addnode=80.240.17.67 addnode=2a02:c207:2008:3923::1 addnode=185.244.194.54 addnode=2001:19f0:5001:445:5400:1ff:fe4e:3d1 addnode=173.249.40.44 addnode=140.82.39.64 addnode=140.82.39.64 addnode=140.82.39.64 addnode=23.95.228.217 addnode=45.76.39.210 addnode=66.11.126.195 addnode=23.95.228.217 addnode=45.43.21.170 addnode=173.212.217.165 addnode=173.249.44.68 addnode=2605:fb80:e000:5e3d::1 Then in the wallet, click on Tools->wallet repair --> recover transactions 1. The wallet will close and reopen. Close the wallet right away. Then delete everything in the roaming/lasvegascoin2 folder except lasvegascoin.conf, and wallet.dat. Then restart wallet. Im 99% + certain, this will solve your issues. It will also remove all those nasty orphans from your wallet, and make it nice and clean again Vegas Im assuming that I should also save my masternode.conf file, to avoid having to set it all back up again, right?

Is there anyone in the VGS community talented enough on graphics and such to design a nice looking paper wallet...?

Ok, guys. I have a problem. I've tried everything I know to diagnose and correct the problem, with no success.
Every time I reboot my desktop, it comes back on with an incorrect time displayed. This is the heart of the problem. I don't know why this is happening. I've tried enabling and disabling the automatic time update, and neither fixes my problem.
Whenever I open my VGS wallet, it pops up a message saying that the wallet won't function properly if the time and date on my PC isn't correct.
The problem comes in as my wallet tries to synchronize. It never gets to 100%. I am currently stuck at 50%. I have corrected the time on my PC, and rebooted my wallet. It still fails to synchronize.
There has to be some type of underlying issue that I am overlooking which is causing the time to get messed up in the first place. I just don't know what it could be...
Does anyone have any ideas?

I set up a few Polis MNs a while back using the Digital Mine's automatic setup script. Is there any automatic set up these days with all of the latest wallet files? If so, would someone kindly link me to it? I would like to set up another ASAP!

I am on 2.5.0.1, and I can't get past "25 hours behind" when trying to load my wallet....
How many peers do you have when it is sitting at 25 hours behind? When I hover over the connections icon at the bottom right of the wallet, it says that I have 25 active connections... Is this what you were asking for? Yes. Jump on Discord and we can work through the issue online. One more thing I've noticed: Every time I open the wallet, a dialogue pops up telling me to check the time on my computer. It says something along the lines of "If the time is not set correctly, the wallet will not function correctly". The time on my computer is set properly this morning, but over the last week or so, it seems as thought every time I reboot my computer, the time has to be changed again. I never really thought about this having anything to do with the VGS wallet. Is that a possibility? Check your time zone, they may not be aligned with your time. I have the same issue, and I solved them when setting automatic time. What do you mean by “they”?

VPS upgrade - Anyone using the script can use the following commands to upgrade your VPS instance, these are the steps I took: cd vps && git pull && rm -rf ./code/lasvegascoin && ./install.sh -p lasvegascoin -n 4 -u I then restarted the daemon a couple of times but the blocks were stuck at 41179 so I did the following to resync the chain, to be sure: rm -rf /var/lib/masternodes/lasvegascoin1/blocks /var/lib/masternodes/lasvegascoin1/chainstate /usr/local/bin/lasvegascoin-cli -conf=/etc/masternodes/lasvegascoin_n1.conf stop
This worked, then I waited for the blocks value to go up past 41280. The version reported should be 2050001. /usr/local/bin/lasvegascoin-cli -conf=/etc/masternodes/lasvegascoin_n1.conf getinfo
Then I restarted the node remotely from my main wallet. Hey Goose! I have a question for you. My QT wallet is failing to sync, so I can't remotely start my MN. What command would I need to type in (as root) to start my MN from Putty...?
