Any thoughts on how ETH gets affected by the BTC halving early July?

What i can buy With ETH?
What concerns me greatly is that THIS is still the 64 satoshi question,
and my previous profiteering in ETH was strictly Najerian day-trading...

I'm going to wait a few days to play just to make sure the ddos problem won't be back.
this, very much so...

All poker systems are back up and running and we are monitoring it very closely. The host completely blocking all traffic to the server is what caused the ultimate problem and we are implementing some new DDoS protection features as well as weighing a variety of options. We appreciate your support and we will continue to work very hard to provide an exceptional place for you to play.
it'z broke again........ Sad

If you don't have an Ethereum wallet yet, visit https://jaxx.io

1293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: March 09, 2016, 03:32:34 PM

That could be a good purchase if you look back in 20 years. The price of Ethereum could be the same as bitcoin then.
AND, right now, if I'm buying ETH w/ just the cash game winnings, I'm not spread too thin.
1294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH price soaring. Are you going to move some BTC into ETH? on: March 08, 2016, 02:59:49 PM
Just been over on Poloniex and there's a MASSIVE buy wall ETH/BTC hitting Ethereum tonight. Buy while your still can.
I bought 2.5 ETH's @4am. right as the price came out of the dip @ 0.022 BTC, now @ 0.025 BTC.
I'll see if it holds... doing better than getting sucked out in 2 micro tourneys @ Betcoin LOL...

Bill Gates' paper tape interpreter sitting on top of a disk operating system they smash-and-grabbed from IBM

Google Gary Kildall and CP/M, learn some history, son. [I'm 58, this was before I became a hardware technician LOL]
IBM literally gave away the farm over the course of 5 years. Being the Luddites in suits they were didn't help 4 shit...

1297  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetcoinPoker.com Betcoin.ag-Big Tourneys-BONUS-Freerolls, Ring Games, Real Poker on: March 02, 2016, 08:15:03 PM
Protip: going for stop-limit to make a lowball buy on Poloniex ties up whatever amount you have spec'd @ high limit for a lowball purchase [I was betting for a dip LOL]
Ima contact Poloniex TechSupport to see if I can cancel this lowball order and loosen up the 0.0175BTC I got tied up [stop laffing dammit]

Update:
Poloniex DOES have a cancel function on their stop-limit orders [in an obscure location, Open Orders, away from the Exchange mode].
used that... now I haz 4 ETH coins. Decided to stop there. I can't win fast enuf to keep up w/ ETH right now... Grin

Does it show confirmations, or just approved?
Shows confirmation [Betcoin only].

don't withdraw to coinbase
Yeah, found that out several moths ago.

Addresses to Poloinex and coinbase wallet are correct... no indication on their end.

Looks like the Bitcoin mempool is still struggling to get get everything threw. Could be an issue if Betcoin didn't include the correct fee to get into the newest block. But since you have not received a "funds sent" email I would drop them a support tix to speed things up if you need that BTC soon. Otherwise it will get sent shortly I'm sure. They had some fraud issues in the past so that's why it takes longer now.
nah. I scored last nite, I wanted to pick up an extra ETH, sumthin like 0.016 BTC. Ain't gonna kill Betcoin either way...

Do you have a ticket on this spike?  We will certainly take a look as there have been some blockchain delays.  Crazywack, thank you for the great feedback as always.
update:
Ticket not necessary BrtcoinAG [umm, can I call u AG 4 short? Grin]
It was just slow, everywherez, not just Betcoin...
Ive bought 3 ETH's now from table-owning in cash games.
Gonna hold off from further purchases, tho, not u guys' fault, ETH going to the moon.

Outside of what an earlier post mentioned regarding rebuy tourneys [kinda trainwrecking], the cash games are solid as always. Grin Grin Grin

Fair Warning: PokerStars is soon coming to NJ. If [more like when] Stars reaches Pennsylvania, you guyz have serious competition [for my time and bux].
