I disagree about ISIS allegedly using bitcoin.
Far easier for them to go PetroRuble/PetroEuro/PetroYuan.
Some1 needs to tell the NSA to lose its hard-on so we can go back to bombing the crap out of 'em.

Hadn't checked Coinbase in 18 hours... was pleasantly surprised just now.
So, what astounding news [besides Gox biting the big 1] have I missed?

[awaiting receipt from RenaFaucet, they're on hold from this fork as well... but will verify operation,
the gethash changed correctly.]

Also...

I traded some DOGE to BTC on Bter but they are stuck there, what would be the best and cheapest way to get it into FIAT?
assuming u can get Doge out of Bter, not BTC:
>re-convert to Doge, remove from Bter ASAP to wallet
>move Doge to Vircurex, trade for BTC
>move BTC to Coinbase, sell to fiat, send out

Why I can't buy entire litters of Doges:

Gawd how annoying. VOIP to my landline, Coinbase's screen sez it's calling me, it ain't...

I'm sorry for the trouble! There are a few reasons why identity verification may have failed - It's possible that
if you have recently moved, received a new Social Security Number, or had any other recent change in your identifying information,
[I haven't, you dorks]
we would be unable to successfully verify your identity. Additionally, if you reside outside the U.S. or don't have a Social Security Number, you'll be unable to complete verification. Unfortunately at this time providing this information is the only mechanism we have in place to verify your identity. Keep in mind you can retry verification every 24 hours, and can still purchase up to 10 bitcoin per day without being verified. Hope that explains it - thanks for bearing with us!

Fucking verification. I just wanna check my balance, chucklefucks.

Yes, Coinbase is WAY MORE RELIABLE than Gox. But damn, try logging into them sometimes... Angry Angry Angry

Such Gox! Angry Angry Angry Angry

While we here @ MoonProject can appreciate the coming butthurt of Mt. Gox,
[hey, we WISH we didn't have to, but Doge is STILL tied to BTC quite a bit]

unfortunately, the BTC trend thread is now being trolled by fonzie,
and he's being an even bigger dooshbag there than he was here...

Some1 should PM a mod, perhaps.

Also, I deal w/ coinbase for my fiat-to-BTC-to-fiat, and Vircurex to everything else.
BTC-gasping for air
Litecoin- bruised but not beaten
Doge-contrary to every other coin, rising back up this AM.

Would it of been that easy if you had to purchase the Bitcoins first?
Woulda taken hella longer now.
My gut feeling is that will change over time.
Typically 4 me, fiat transfer, from check or electonic deposit [I'm on SSI, have used both] to available account funds, is 1-2 business days.
Cash xfer to usable Bitcoin, about 4-5 business days [unsure of e-transfer yet, such as Western Union or Paypal, I'll try it later this year]

Fiat has stayed the same time frame for 2 decades+.
There IS room for improvement for BTC... but I see it evolving into same-day [or max, <1 business day] xfers,
and as instantaneous as EBT/debit cards.

Even when mined to full maturity, the fee savings for sellers, v. debit/credit cards, is enormous.

Keep in mind that MasterCard, Visa, Discover, etc. have built HUGE MULTI-NATIONAL companies
on those fees,
not to mention the loan-shark interest they're allowed to gouge unsuspecting
consumers with [thanks to influential Congressional lobbying].

I give it 5 years.
Do you REALLY think they'll be able to replace Petrodollars w/ yuan, yen, rubles, gold, or silver?
nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
