I still haven't received my order from group buy 6. Tracking hasn't been updated since the 4th on USPS and it was supposed to deliver yesterday... Sending PM now...

Edit: USPS site just updated and it will deliver tomorrow. Thanks for looking into it!
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin-Qt / bitcoind version 0.8.4 released, fixes critical DoS vulnerability on: September 05, 2013, 09:03:13 PM
I upgraded to 0.8.4 on OS X 10.8 without issue, no DB corruption or whatnot, HOWEVER, now I made my first transaction since upgrading and I can't get the transaction to confirm, it has been 1.5 hours since the transaction and NOTHING... ZERO confirmations. It says the following: Status: 0/unconfirmed, broadcast
Your transaction should be fine if you just leave your node running it will rebroadcast it periodically.

To be more sure about it, open up the debug console (help -> debug -> console) and type

getrawtransaction <txid> 1

e.g.

getrawtransaction eb61f51fe142ff46958cf1f98d31a1a5cdbcab4a766b711fc9f2fb8e2cb4504f 1

And paste the result and we can look at the transaction and potentially rebroadcast it.

Thank you for your assistance, I appreciate it immensely!

redacted to prevent any issues

The transaction was .35 btc and I payed a .00004 fee to the network and it is stuck... I look up the transaction id and it doesn't exist...
I just lost my bitcoin, what can I do?

I don't have anymore coins to try another transaction and I am really bummed out about this

How many aluminum cans does it take to make $3 USD? I guess the effort wasn't worth it. Roll Eyes

I wanted a loan not a grilling. I was willing to give collateral but got harassed instead. Totally not worth my time or effort. Thanks anyway.

I could ask you the same thing... WHY DO YOU CARE WHAT I DO WITH MY TIME?

Your littering our pool support thread with "your time".

You made your point with one or two posts, which could have been shorter, and that should have sufficed to express your opinion.

That's why we care.

Anybody else want to have a reasonable debate on WHY you would pay more for something that can be had for much less?

Take it somewhere else please.

Wow, there really are a bunch of half-wits in here. That one just sailed right over your head, didn't it? I was being facetious.
7  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [130'000 GH] BTC Guild - Pays TxFees, Stratum, MergedMining, Private Servers on: August 21, 2013, 09:35:06 PM

I am currently paying .30-.31 btc for them, so Elutheria would have to offer a better price than that (as a coupon) for me to bite. Seriously, with razor sharp margins and near zero ROI, you would think this would be a no-brainer, instead you all say I am whining or complaining. Go figure...

Grats, continue paying that elsewhere.  I've said in the past, I have no intention of dropping my prices to what group buys offer because it is not worth my time.  I'm not going to order thousands of extra units of inventory at a profit margin of 3% (at 0.31 assuming shipping is extra), especially when another price drop by ASICMINER would suddenly eat all the profit I made and then some due to leftover inventory that was purchased pre-pricedrop.

How can others do it and you can't? Hmmm
I'm having trouble trying to understand just what you are trying to accomplish... You clearly don't like the price here and are quite happy to jump through hoops to get the best price you can, so go do it. I personally don't mind paying a bit more for the convenience & trust. You state others can do it so why don't he.. WHY DO YOU CARE? Eleuthria don't have to do this at all. You don't like the store? Go shop somewhere else! You seem to be on some crusade that people should run THEIR business the way you think they should and by nattering on about it you will make them change. You want to tilt at a windmill go find a BFL thread and natter on in there.

I could ask you the same thing... WHY DO YOU CARE WHAT I DO WITH MY TIME? You could easily just ignore me, but you aren't, you want answers to your questions but I am not allowed to ask mine? Hypocrisy at its best...
Good for you that YOU are willing to pay a premium (your own description, not mine) for something that can CLEARLY be had for less...(curious behavior for an item that has close to zero chance for a ROI)...

Done.  Welcome to "ignore".

Clearly these two are not the sharpest tools in the shed, but I digress... Anybody else want to have a reasonable debate on WHY you would pay more for something that can be had for much less?
I have a couple coupons I would be willing to sell you for a measly .05 btc each... you would still be saving .05 btc over regular price... lol

Do the coupons have an expiration date (and thus needing to make a bunch of one device orders to keep them) or can I just order one at a time as I hit the required amount of Bitcoin?

Why bother with the coupon orders anyway? You can get them CHEAPER than the offer, without worry of an expiration, from other vendors. Do yourselves a favor and buy somewhere else, it is what I have been doing since this fiasco started.

So what then, by pissing and moaning and complaining, you hoped he would reward your behavior by giving you what you want and lower the price? I'm curious, just what price do you want to pay for these things?

There is no debate!  He already clearly told you what you think you're reading is not the case!  Troll.

Yes, yes there is. The debate is on whether it was fair to award the purchasers who made purchases @ the lowest prices instead of award the purchasers who purchased at the highest prices. It was handled completely backwards... Those who purchased @ 2 btc were NOT rewarded but those who purchased for 1 or less btc were? In what twisted version of history is that even logical?

Now, why don't you address that? Because there is no way to address that issue LOGICALLY and THAT is why nobody wants to have the discussion.

And to make matters even worse, the NEW coupons are MORE expensive than the going rate that OTHER resellers are offering. How messed up is THAT? For fuc*s sake, get it right...

You're obviously misunderstanding.  NOBODY is offering to 100% of their customers, try reading a few more threads than the one with confusing language.  Troll on...

Troll on? LOL, please... I haven't misunderstood ANYTHING. I know how to read and I have comprehension. Don't confuse that with apathy, which clearly you suffer from...
Debate is healthy, name calling is not. Grow up

So, what happened to the coupon program? Every other reseller has issued them to ALL their customers... Why has BTCGuild not done the same?

WRONG.  Every other reseller has issued them to approximately 30% of their customers, EXACTLY the same as what BTC Guild has done.

8/8/13 AsicMiner Promo 0.10 btc pricing - My promotional inventory has been distributed to all my past customers at the 30% rate. You should have been contacted by me and allowed to purchase 30% of past 0.89 btc+ USB miners from me at the 0.10 btc price. I was told to handle the 30% promo with my customers as I see fit. Thus, ALL(not the last 30%) past 0.89+ btc  USB miners qualify for the 30% promo, not just the last 30% of orders(which would have been unfair to everyone as the last large order I placed was for my own personal use). If friedcat allows 100 % promo on all  USB miners at 0.89 btc and above, I will pass the savings on to my customers. Everyone that is entitled to promo units will be able to purchase them. Thanks for the question and hope this clarifies it for all my valued customers.

You're obviously missing the point.  It says 30% multiple times and "IF friedcat allows 100%...", key word = IF.

And YOU missed the crucial part that states ALL...

I've just made the initial price drop for Block Erupters on the BTC Guild store.  As stated before, I am not going to work myself to death to be competitive with group buy pricing deals.  Instead, I'm going to keep the store operating on a 24-hour or less turnaround [barring a completely unexpected surge of orders].

Tonight I'm working on adding in a special coupon program for anybody who ordered units at 0.60 or higher.  These will not be the same as ASICMINER's coupon program (0.15/unit), which I still have no word about regarding when we will be able to get more of those (if ever).  The BTC Guild coupons will be made available tomorrow when the next shipment of units arrives.

For those considering ordering:  Units are currently shipping in 1 business day, and depending on the timing, may even ship out the same day you order them.  The current goal is to maintain this 1-day or less turnaround time until the units are removed from the store entirely.

So, what happened to the coupon program? Every other reseller has issued them to ALL their customers... Why has BTCGuild not done the same?

I installed Bfgminer 3.1.4 and everything was running fine.
I was tinkering around trying to build bitcoin-qt from source and changed a few things, now I get a bus error: 10 when I try to run Bfgminer 3.1.4 @ command prompt  (terminal) in Mac OS X 10.8.4

How do I fix it? I tried restarting, reinstalling and NOTHING seems to work... I am stuck using Mac Miner for now...

Seems to be an issue with Bfgminer, ran it once on a separate system (10.7 instead of 10.Cool and after shutting it down and restarting it, I get the same bus error and NOTHNG seems to fix it...
What gives?

Not really pool related, but does anyone know another source to confirm blocks to next difficulty?  Bitcoincharts seems to be stuck showing the same info for the last couple of days.

On a pool related note, how about adding the number of blocks to next dificulty to the web site so that I don't have to go find it elsewhere? Cheesy

I was just thinking this same thing. PLEASE add this to the dashboard page of the website... Please?!?!
