Looks like http://port80.btcguild.com/ now redirects to https://www.btcguild.com/ which isn't overly useful for mining behind a fussy firewall, is this going to get fixed/reverted?

If not, are there alternative http/https addresses I can use with BTC Guild?

tia

Port80 is currently down for the count due to the continued work on removing getwork.  I'm looking at setting up one stratum server to redirect incoming port 80 connections to port 3333.  Port 80 will not be coming back to getwork.

Cool, any likely ETA for when you'll have a stratum server listening on port 80?

Probably this weekend after I pack the last outstanding store orders.

The shipping queue is now completely filled with the exception of 4 orders which require additional address information.  The BTC Guild store has finally hit the target of a 24 hour (or less) turnaround on product orders.  Decent inventory remains on hand, and more inventory should arrive early next week.  A price drop is expected once I know the new inventory will arrive before old inventory runs out, and a discount promotion for previous buyers is also planned for next week.

Going forward I want to keep the store running as a proper store.  You pay for your product and it ships out that day or the next business day.  It will have a higher price than group buys even after the price drop, but should be painless to order from no matter where you are in the world.

Are you still having problems with the HTTPS connection?  It's working perfectly on this end (Chrome, Windows 7x64).

Any chance there are any unused discounts for BE's that are going to be passed on in the queue?

At this time there are still 8 unused coupons out of the ones that were redistributed last Monday.  They will be redistributed this week, along a few other changes being prepared for this week.

I've just made the initial price drop for Block Erupters on the BTC Guild store.  As stated before, I am not going to work myself to death to be competitive with group buy pricing deals.  Instead, I'm going to keep the store operating on a 24-hour or less turnaround [barring a completely unexpected surge of orders].

Tonight I'm working on adding in a special coupon program for anybody who ordered units at 0.60 or higher.  These will not be the same as ASICMINER's coupon program (0.15/unit), which I still have no word about regarding when we will be able to get more of those (if ever).  The BTC Guild coupons will be made available tomorrow when the next shipment of units arrives.

For those considering ordering:  Units are currently shipping in 1 business day, and depending on the timing, may even ship out the same day you order them.  The current goal is to maintain this 1-day or less turnaround time until the units are removed from the store entirely.

I know that you aren't big on the idea of selling Blades, but could you let us know when the new Blades become available? I'm sure Friedcat will let ya know. I have about 50 Erupters and just scratch my head at where i would put more. And, the price of Hubs is becoming significant as the price of Erupters drops. I think there will continue to be a market for erupters, but that the volume bought will decrease rapidly.

I will definitely keep everybody updated when the new blades are ready to roll out.
