1081  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin being taxed? on: December 31, 2017, 12:53:12 PM
Thats would be great but if we think of attributes of btc, it is decentralized thats why it is using by people because it is less hassle. And also faster than bank to bank transaction. I think if the government would taxed the btc it would be a major crisis for crypto world especially those countries that starting to adopt its function.
1082  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can Bitcoin be ban? on: December 29, 2017, 04:44:25 AM
Thats the worst case scenario for bitcoin. If you can recall, China and some other countries banned the Bitcoin before because theyre afraid for the native business and for the banking sector of their country and also theyre concern for the consumers and protecting them from possible risks they could get from using bitcoin. Its really painful if a country depends on theyre local banks. We all know that using bitcoin, banks are the most affected.
1083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are coins going to pump in Jan 2018? on: December 29, 2017, 03:51:00 AM
Its said that all coins will pump in Jan 2018 and advisable to invest in Dec before year ends, how true it is and what is future prediction for main coins? Will jan 2018 be a month when coins will pump?

It seems like theyre gonna pump by next year. We all can see that BTC would recover from price dump and rise again. As we all know alt coin price depends on BTC's price. It is not true that all coins will pump, we really cant say that. Thats too good to be true. I suggest ETH to invest with. I believe it will be highly recommended to invest with ETH. Also invest your money on BTC, this is the right time to buy while it is not so much pricey. Smiley
1084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will BTC be a major in college? on: December 29, 2017, 03:11:38 AM
Not specifically BTC but cryptocurrencies in general. You think it will become a course of study / college degree at some point?

It is possible because it is a form of financial. But I think it would be more interesting if the blockchain would become course of study or degree. Theres so much that blockchain can offer to us that I think we didnt maximized yet what blockchain can offer. Because all in all BTC is just a reward for those who are  on the blockchain that answers the mathematical equation. I think how does the blockchain works is more interesting and more topics to talk about with. Smiley
1085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach BTC value ? on: December 28, 2017, 02:08:11 PM
Just wondering if ETH can

Maybe in long term son. But I dont think ETH can do what BTC has done. I do believe that ETH can be pricey but I dont think it would be as fast as how the BTC gets pricey everyday. Yes ETH is the most popular alt coin so far. And almost a lot of projects here are using ETH but I dont think it is enough to boost the price for ETH for it to top and gets as pricey as BTC. But thats only my prediction son. Again you cant tell which is which in crypto world. But for me YES ETH can. BUT IN A LONG TERM. Smiley
1086  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: December 28, 2017, 01:48:28 PM
Its never too late buddy! You can buy coin any time. And as we can see it is so volatile. Look at the market flow. Yes it is not stable and BTC also fell down this past few days. But I do believe that it can recover soon. Thats because a lot of establishments and countries around the world is using and accepting BTC. Although it is not their primary currency but still if a lot of people knows about it and it get more demands I think it is just enough to say that BTC will soon be more valuable.
1087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder? on: December 28, 2017, 01:36:49 PM
"Hacking and scams remain the top risk for Bitcoin holders. Exchanges that shut down or passwords stolen from devices can easily wipe out a person’s bitcoins. Moreover, governments and central banks from various countries are starting to impose limitations on the use of cryptocurrencies.

Digital coins clearly threaten the political and economic establishment, and the regulatory environment can quickly change with the stroke of a legislative pen. Banks and governments typically use familiar language in the media, such as the need to protect consumers from new risks.

We are hearing familiar talking points from politicians who are getting pressured from the banking lobby. It seems that the root cause of the status quo’s actions in 2017 is to protect fiat currencies and traditional financial interests. Competing digital coins represent a potential end to the government’s monopoly of the monetary system." - Bitcoin.com

What are the top risks for Bitcoin holders?

I think the most critical issue about BTC is if the government are willing to support this technology because some countries, BTC's are getting banned and thats what Im scared of because it might get taxable soon or worst it might get totally banned from a country coz governments tend to protect the consumers from risks. And also hackers and scammers are so many in crypto world and it is still prone to hackers lets admit that. I think also that banks has issues on BTC.
1088  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading sites on: December 28, 2017, 01:27:05 PM
In relation to what happened with BITTREX regarding their withdrawal issue, I am now curious on what trading sites are trustable. Any recommendation? I am just a newbie in trading.

Binance is a good trading site. Ill recommend that. Ive been using it for a month and so far its been good. It is also easy to use. You just post your price and boom just like that you have successful trade. Good luck!
1089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: December 28, 2017, 01:03:25 PM
It is risky but not so much. Coz so far BTC is having a good market although it has a dump at the moment but Im sure it will recover sooner or later. Just a little clarification, you should invest on trusted people or you may like to create a BTC wallet then put you money in there and then buy BTC. Be careful coz a theres a lot of bogus are there. You should be careful and try to invest the money that you can afford to lose. Learn the crypto grounds a lil bit more. Research and study. Smiley
1090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to convert ETH into BTC? on: December 28, 2017, 12:56:56 PM
hellow bitcointalk.
i have some ETH into myetherwallet and i want to convert them into btc.so how can indo that?
And how many transaction fees need for that?

In order for you to convert your ETH in BTC you can use bittrex. Make an account there and send there your ETH then on bittrex you can convert it on BTC. Dont worry coz conversion fee is low. It wont be much. A few dollars I guess. But I think thats reasonable fee. Smiley
1091  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you use BTC as a digital currency for paying online ? on: December 28, 2017, 12:33:38 PM
It was one on the issue Satoshi saw the world needed it. But as far now it mainly use is trading for speculation by the newbie and holding by one who bought it years ago.

Of course it needs to be legalised FIRST somewhere. But after that a, will you buy something online and pay in BTC ?
Or it’s just a form of investment like gold was a decade ago ?

Of course thats what crypto currencies are develop for. To make the transaction speedy and less hassle. Im sure you would like to pay in BTC also if the web store is over seas. I think it is more safer than putting credit card infos online. Gold and BTC have similarities. Theyre both limited but unlike GOLD, BTC price depends on how much demand we have. Smiley
1092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: December 27, 2017, 03:51:32 PM
Yes Sir! I do believe that ETH would get high price sooner or later. It is a good alt coin. A lot of people knows ETH and almost every project here is ETH based. If you also look at the wallets they needs GAS fee and guess ETH is what they accept as GAS fee. Theres so much more that ETH can offer to us. And in fact ETH has been here for years and yet it is still kicking. Im sure itll be better future for ETH soon. Smiley
1093  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how improve trading on: December 27, 2017, 03:41:06 PM
Well I guess the best way for you do be good at trading is you must learn from your mistakes. I know its hard to overcome those failed trades but instead of pitying why dont you study your faults. Look all the possible point why you failed from then you would learn that you shouldnt do this, do that. And another thing, dont be so aggressive dude, you should buy the amount you can afford to lose. Dont risk too much until you feel confident that youre the what so called TRADING MASTER. I do really believe that the best teacher is EXPERIENCE. It may sounds old but I swear dude. It really works. Smiley
1094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin for 2018 on: December 27, 2017, 03:35:17 PM
Hi guys, what is your favourite alt coin for 2018? I have in mind Req and Alis but will be delighted to hear your opinions! Thanks

For me ETH will go up the near future. But I think it would be possible if ETH developers could over come their problems. If you look in the big picture, you might ask why does the ETH got low price if everybody has it? despite of its popularity why is not rising? I dont really have the idea. But I think theres a problem around the developer perspective. Anyways, for me, 2018 is for ETH. Thats an aggressive prediction though. Good luck!
1095  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are they afraid of bitcoin? on: December 27, 2017, 03:10:56 PM
Every student of the political economy who understands the style of the work of the technique of Blockchain and Bitcoin BTC will be absolutely sure that the next alternative to the classical system is the digital currencies, which by their characteristics (speed - privacy - lack of costs - decentralization of the system ...) The foundations of political economy in all its schools, from Aristotle and Ibn Khaldun to Marx, Adam Smith and Keynes and finally with Friedman. These scholars, who laid the foundations of economic thought through money supply, can control the economy of countries and their economic policy.
In my opinion, Noble In the economy of this great invention that will change humanity and will throw our lives upside down in so-called Internet value ..........

Because probably theres some assholes making bad publicity about Bitcoin. In my country (Philippines), theres a rumor that Bitcoin is run by the syndicate and believe me people really buy that hoax. I think people scared because they are misinformed. They didnt really knew the whole thing or maybe theyre really dont have time to dig more infos or research about it thats why theyd just believed what other people says about it which I think is wrong. For me, in order for someone to understand this whole crypto world, I think its just safe to say that they need to read some reliable articles and try it themselves. Smiley
1096  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: December 24, 2017, 05:17:11 PM
Yeah absolutely right brother. Here in the philippines, theres a rumor that bitcoin is a scam that runs by syndicate. And i think thats alarming, thats a propaganda against btc. Probably by those who were affected by the btc. A lot of misconception are created when people doesnt have enough knowledge.
1097  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest regret about bitcoin on: December 24, 2017, 12:18:00 PM
My biggest regret is i didnt buy btc before when it was low price back then. But i think its not too late for me. Thats why im here and trying to earn bucks. Also ive learned a lot of things about btc and the money world now. Im hoping that btc will recover soon. So that we can all enjoy. Smiley
1098  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long bitcoin will survive ? on: December 24, 2017, 12:04:31 PM
I think bitcoin will stay forever. Its a major discovery and technology that we can utilize more. I also believe that we didnt have yet maximized what bitcoin can be offered to us. In fact the whole world is still in awe by what it can do for people. Most banks and lots of establishmenys today are accepting btc. BTC rocks!
1099  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum at $1000 in Jan 2018? on: December 24, 2017, 11:49:15 AM
That would be great if ETH would reach 1k. If we think about it, ETH is a well-known coin. Most of people here have ETH. But I'm hoping for maybe a little bit more from ETH. I hope that ETH would over come their problems. Good luck!
1100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you buying altcoins on: December 22, 2017, 08:10:20 PM
Why not! Absolutely it is the right time to invest to alt coins while the price is low. Because eventually it will get high again. As you can see this fall price season is giving us opportunity to buy altcoins. This is the time that most of traders awaited. But dont be so greedy my friend. You have to analyze the situation carefully. Even though we all know that coins can recover sooner or later, it is not giving us guaranteed success. Why? coz not all alt coins are good. Again this method is effective if youre making the right decision. STUDY + ANALYZE + LUCK. I guess thats the key. Goodluck!
