41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CLOAK] Cloakcoin | No Premine | X13 | Decentralized Market and PoSA on: August 13, 2014, 03:48:42 PM
I've been having a bit of a mining issue. Most of the coins I'm getting seem to just not get confirmed. Any one else have this issue?

Btcspender, I had the same issue as well and went back to wallet 1.9.6 as I didn't see a fix for this issue. Anybody able to offer a better solution?

Thanks for the help mate, looks like it's back to 1.9.6 Smiley

i bought yesterday at 90K, big mistake! today I sold it again, btc going lower

If it helps you, I bought at 240k few days ago. I don't know why, I was so stupid  Embarrassed
Are you gonna buy or sell now?
I started with CLOAK when it was ~300-340, knowing it was high, but the "volatility" was kind of appealing. Bought and sold at the right times, so now my CLOAKs have a slightly lower BTC value than when i entered the market.

As all coins, also CLOAK will go up and down. Just relax, don't panic and consider carefully if you really want to exit now.

Yeah I had a few buys low and kept buying as it was rising, if I was to sell all my cloak now I would take an 11BTC loss. So I am certainly not doing that  Smiley

Have the devs released a rough development timeline of when certain features will be released?

I also dont mind that the devs are too busy to be trawling through the thread to remove every stupid comment but this thread has it's uses, maybe delegate it to a trusted member who is willing and has a little more time.

Okay, I just found out I won't be able to keep my Neptunes where I originally planned.  Do you guys know of any cheap hosting solutions??

what's the final word on change of address if I were to sell my preorder through ebay?

I just came to ask that exact question Grin

So will knc change neptune order over to someone else if I sell?

Phoenix thought Intel has 14nm lol

Then he would be correct Intel do have 14nm.

He would be wrong if he said you could currently buy a Intel 14nm cpu. Last I read Broadwell isn't being released for a while yet I think.

Just thought I'd give those addresses a little plug. I remembered I hadn't tipped yet so just did. Every little bit helps.

Also is v2.srv.eligius.st:12234 up? I've been on slush since it went down the other day, although I didn't see anyone mentioning they had problems so It might have been something mucking up on my end and it never went down at all

V2 was replaced with just stratum.mining.eligius.st:12234

Thanks for the tip!

Great! Glad I can switch back Grin

Thx for the work wizkid, I'll give you & the missus a tip shortly.

Also anyone know if v2.srv.eligius.st:12234 is back up? Although I did switch to main stratum and knc jupiter problems with cgminer appear to be pretty much fixed nov jup does have 5% hw errors but not 10% and no cores disabling anyone else find this?

Edit: Also my miners show 0 rejected shares on stats page is this a stats issue?

Must have spoken too soon nov jup acting up again
53  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Estimate of ASIC pre-orders: 13 to 15 PH/s (diff 1.8B to 2.1B) by end of 2013 on: January 21, 2014, 04:15:27 PM
Hey great thread.
Is it still going to be updated with 2014 rollouts?

edit:
I don't have much to add but I think knc have 3x1200 neptune batches @3TH & it was posted that cointerra were doing 5000 unit batches so @ 2TH I would assume, they are already sold out till may. I will try and confirm these numbers if thread is going to be kept up to date.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 21, 2014, 03:44:09 PM
Has anyone done the math on 10,000-25,000 units @ 1TH? What's that equate to? lol

25000 @ 1TH = 3.5 billion difficulty

So if neptunes don't ship to june and cointerra ship 6 months of 5000 machines @ 2TH about 8.5 billion difficulty just from cointerra.

So if you include blackarrow, bitmine, bitmain, hashfast etc who knows 20 billion+ lol

55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 21, 2014, 03:16:32 PM
So if every cointerra batch is 5000 2TH miners each batch adds 1.4 billion difficulty? Yikes.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 20, 2014, 07:13:56 AM
I don't want to do Ebay unless I'm forced to...

I have 3 Neps out of the CA Batch I'll let go for 14btc each. No escrow, Ill ask KNC to change shipping address, if not, I'll pay for shipping inside usa..  outside usa add .25 btc per machine. Last ones I shipped to EU costed over 500usd to ship fully insured.

*edit     now 2 left

Dang, if the offer was a day or so ago I wouldn't have bothered with a batch 2.
You selling all your neptunes Phoenix? Getting out of mining?

Thank you for all your hard work getting us back up and running. Eligius is well work your time and we all appreciate your work

I concur and thanks for the constant updates, now if most of the asic manufacturers could be as proficient in keeping us updated as you are I'd be much happier Cheesy.

Lots of stress over neptunes to tell you the truth I'm more bummed over a jupiter batch. I'm not concerned over neptunes yet, in fact I just bought a second one Grin
Congrats Smiley
Thanks Smiley I'm glad they put up 170 more.
I had planed to buy 2 more neptunes or as many jups as I could get with 20 coin. But I figured somewhere in the middle may be best so 1 neptune and wait a while to see if any jupiters do come up and if they don't then I'll see what else I can get my hands on in feb.

With respect to the speculation above we sold out of Neptune's last night.

Can you post how many Neptunes are sold in all batches? Just trying to calculate PHs when they eventually come online.

If each batch is 1200 would that be about 1.5 billion difficulty added for all 3 shipped is that right?

Yes, that's about right, (in THs):
https://www.google.rs/search?q=1200+*+3+*+3

10,800 THs = 1,508,742,620 difficulty. That's in case each Neptune is 3 THs, add expected overclocking %.

Edit:
Waiting for Bitcoinorama confirmation there are 3 X 1200 Neptunes sold.
So if they were to ship:

$10k 1200 start of may
$13k 1200 end of may
$10k 1200 batch 2 - june
1200 every month till dec 2014

If they were to ship a batch every month like cointerra plan on doing we would have just the neptunes adding roughly 4.5 billion difficulty by end of 2014. Each batch upping difficulty by 500 million?. wow

edit:
Please note those numbers are extreme speculation don't base any purchases or refunds or any decision on anything I say Cheesy
