1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MtGox - God Dammit... on: June 30, 2011, 06:42:51 AM
Mt Gox has been very slow to respond (I take that back, not slow to respond but slow to REACT) to my requests about password resetting since all that crap happened.

I'm still waiting (3 tickets later) Hoping for response tomorrow that actually solves my problems!

Thanks

Why not use it as a PC? Except for the Ram its a gaming rig.
I have a 2nd PC with 1 5850 that I use for all my editing stuff (stopped playing games). I'll give preference to bitcoin community members first, just because bitcoin rocks!

My first ticket response:
Quote
    Hello,

Before 3:00 GMT on Friday June 24th you will receiving an email from us advising that either

    A) Your claim was successful and you can login to Mt.Gox once the site is up.

    or

    B) We require more information to process and authorize your claim.

We appreciate your continued patience as we work to get everything back online.

    Thanks,

    MtGox.com Team

I didn't get anything so I emailed back 3 days later and this is the 2nd response I received:
Quote
    Hello,

We are still working on getting everyone back online and it might take little bit of time for us to activate all.

But as we are speaking, the activation process is going on at our office so please Email us back when your account gets back online so

that we know your good to go with everything. Thankyou and sorry for the inconvenience situation.

    Thanks,

    MtGox.com Team

Some people got their pass reactivated fairly fast while I've been waiting from June 22nd (my time) to the 27th. Hoping to see some positive outcome today!
7  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Re: Selling Mining Rig with 2x 5850's for BTC on: June 27, 2011, 04:07:57 PM
I'm offering 23BTC provided that Grue, Quant or or Jack agree to play intermediary for 1%. Shipping via the slow boat to Bratislava, Slovakia included in my offer.
No thanks. I've had 2 offers for more than that for 2 video cards alone. I paid over $800 for this computer and the term "used" doesn't apply in the same sense of a used car here...
Anyone else wanna get closer to my initial asking before I sell the cards separately?

Just read thru this and the cogentjm  scam posts.  Way to risky buyers beware!~

Troll more? Thanks.
9  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Re: Selling Mining Rig with 2x 5850's for BTC on: June 26, 2011, 07:36:00 PM
Use caution on this trade. Require ClearCoin.

cogentjm and rickrollin are associated and/or may be the same individual.

cogentjm scammed AmpEater (an established member of community) at this post selling Asus 5850s.

Cogent also spent extensive time on proving how he is legit and how he's not "rickrollin".

Turns out he scammed AmpEater out of the price of two 5850's that never arrived.

If I were AmpEater I'd arrange local pickup for these "two rigs with 5850's" and ask if he knows anything about his "friend".

Because you owe him "rick". And there is no "friend". It's just you under multiple aliases.

Quote from: rickrollin
There is no scheme or "plan", I'm just selling my mining rig as described in the top post. Period.

Then accept ClearCoin or local delivery/pickup.
Or even better, send the guy his 5850's he paid you for, without making excuses about how you know nothing about your "friend" who has suddenly disappeared from the face of Earth.
I'm already accepting local pickup. Read the thread before you troll. I haven't sold any 5850's to anyone. I only speak for myself here if you have some beef with someone else that doesn't concern me.

I have bought 2 cards from that individual however I am not him. I have no aliases and I wish people would just stop trolling my thread. I'll gladly use clearcoin, but from what I've read on their homepage they're not accepting new trades? Correct me if I'm wrong.

The parts in my PC are original, I have all receipts for serious buyers with part numbers and dates of purchase so you can stop the crap about fakes.

I don't mind for local pickups either if you're nearby and want to pick it up that's fine.

Any more bs from you trolls? Can't wait to see what you'll come up with next ...

Day 2.. or is it 3? Still nothing. Sent in 2nd ticket and no response.

Look, I know you guys are a 2 man team, but sometimes when you're in over your head you just have to hire extra help even if it means loss of profit.

This is BS.
12  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Re: Selling Mining Rig with 2x 5850's for BTC on: June 26, 2011, 04:10:47 PM

14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many with the account stil locked at MtGox? on: June 25, 2011, 06:23:42 PM
Account claimed. Password doesn't work. Password resetting email did not arrive. Opened ticked is not answered. I'm stuck in a limbo.
EXACTLY!
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many with the account stil locked at MtGox? on: June 25, 2011, 06:17:48 PM
I have gone through the reset process and STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED MY EMAIL.

What the F*ck
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Has anyone actually recovered their acc? on: June 23, 2011, 07:11:45 AM
I've done the recovery process but haven't gotten any emails. How quick do they send the emails?
17  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Re: Selling Mining Rig with 2x 5850's for BTC on: June 22, 2011, 09:33:50 PM
where is this physically located? Just thinking if it would have customs ...
I'm on the west coast US

Would you maybe be interested in some sort of part exchange for my macbook pro I'm selling in another thread here.

Could you maybe show me some sort of e-bay id confirmation as I am doing as well as it may get rid of a few troll posts.
You can message me on there and I'll reply back so we know who each other are.
I'm not interested in exchanges and my ebay user is too new since I have long lost the login to my original ID and can't seem to recover it.
18  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Re: Selling Mining Rig with 2x 5850's for BTC on: June 21, 2011, 03:15:38 AM
Would you sell the two 5850's individually?
Sorry I'm trying to sell the entire thing. I'm not super desperate to sell cards individually but I WOULD like to get one of these PC's out of site from my living room Smiley
19  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Re: Selling Mining Rig with 2x 5850's for BTC on: June 20, 2011, 01:05:16 AM
Lol, we've been mining for much longer than 2 days... This PC is about a month old, I bought the same components as the other guy a while back. Go to my blog and scroll down to the post where I talk about my new mining rigs and check the hardware = all same. Post made 3 weeks ago. I have all the photo proof, part numbers and order dates if any SERIOUS buyer wants to check it out. Everything is almost brand new, not a scratch anywhere. I did mod the HDD bay for better airflow and you can see it being gone in the 2nd set of the pictures I posted (moved to the top where there are no fans).

I showed you proof that the pc is mine didn't I? I'm being very transparent and open about everything, not sure why you gotta come into my thread and troll around like you're trying to prove some scam. What more proof do you need?

Stop being fken rude, I don't know what you've got to gain here by flaming my thread with idiotic comments. There is no scheme or "plan", I'm just selling my mining rig as described in the top post. Period.
