Some nice shitstorm happens here.
We are where we are.
If TH made that they said, they done all perfect.

Avalon clones from china, which i seen link here before in thread is scam,
there are also mistical customers from Spain who got chips apart from Zefir B1, but maybe it's just urban legends.
gen2 will not arrive in september, then another 8-10 weeks lead time.

Question is in chips only

Correct me if i'm wrong

Thanks

Although it could be somewhat true about organized crime...
My dad once "tried" to do some business in Ukraine.. by possibly opening a factory...
Ohh boy.., while he was even considering we were already getting some Mafia extortion calls on our unlisted US number. lol
Go figure.
That venture was quickly filed under do not touch ever again. lol

So fun to hear that, because it's so fuckin' true Smiley
Bitfury from UA by the way.
Me too Smiley
So lovely country Ukraine.

Hello everyone.
I wonder if any news about hosting: "How it will be?"
Personally switched to hosting,
so it will be nice to know how it will look like.

Also, the shipping cost is crippling! $400 to the Uk, that's just not right!!?

Does anyone have any idea of the customs charges I may have to pay on it?

If terrahash will declare full cost of devices which was sent to you(i assume they will)
VAT will be applied to original amount of invoice (not sure how much itīs in U.K., but in Spain itīs 21%)
also some custom processing fees will be applied too.

I will recommend you switch to hosting instead, this is what i done, because custom can take up to one week(here in Spain itīs like this, not sure how it works in U.K. but i guess not really faster)

My personal decision was made on idea that i will exclude extra charges from customs, plus i can start mine earler on hosting so this will give some extra income, as time in this case have big influence, to much hash power will be released during august-september.

@FAN & @Bifury

Thanks a lot @knightlife999

Good to know that someone can go there and check what's going on.

Thanks for updates @terrahash !

All goes perfect!

I made my order with paypal but the order still says "Order status: processing."

Maybe its just how your system is set up, will the next order status be "confirmed" or even "shipped"?

Its just a little alarming is all. I want to know my order is confirmed. Please and thank you for a reply.
processing = confirmed
174  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: July 08, 2013, 11:23:39 PM
No but we can rely upon past experience, and everything this company has done is screaming scam with red flags left and right, horrible communications, bait and switching on their refund policy without notifying their customers, refusing refunds, open day debacle, cloudhashing issue, flip flopping on their pre-order stance, they are utterly untrustable at this point.

If we cannot rely upon them to keep their word about uploading a video on the day that they say, can you trust them with anything.

Should I go on?

You are wright, so what now.
Already stucked with payment, don't worry, if you have paypal, all is ok
If this is scam, on this stage, it's too late to do something.

Believe me in U.S. was scams much more powerful then BFL

EMS Escrow service with more than 12 background and world wide operations just disappeared.
Belive me, there was much much more money.

Actually i prefer to beleive that i'm not scammed Smiley

175  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: July 08, 2013, 11:15:36 PM
no thanks, I think I will stick to this one, so that other people don't get scammed by TerraHash.

It's sounds strange, just because they not accepting orders anymore,
so it's technically hard to get scammed by TH direclty, isn't it?

Just joking  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
176  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: July 08, 2013, 11:01:32 PM
what makes them trustable in your opinion?

several things.
faith - of course.
Also,
Everyone know how paypal works, an how is chargebacks easy can be done there.
Go with paypal for scam is really bad idea,
my personal account was seized for 2 weaks, not funny at all i can admit,
for company i guess this even more harder;
now, about refunds, if they bought another 20k chips (don't know if it's true, but some one tracked transactions here at forum),
and they able to produce all in one batch, of course they will not be happy stay with assembled and unsold gear(yes yes, they can mine and so on, maybe they will at the end, who knows).
So finally, if there is 4 guys, and they need to organize all process of assembly from A to Z(pcb, soldering, cases, testing, etc) plus hosting.
i guess is not so easy, especially if you actually depend on chips delivery + 3d party pcb design.
If they doing that, so for me it's ok, even without nanosecond updates.
About @BBKCoins, cool guy!!  At the end, if they will pay out royalty to BBKCoins from each board, will be perfect.

Maybe i dreaming, and cold reallity will punish me for that, but allow me to stay in that mood

Thanks
177  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: July 08, 2013, 10:15:32 PM
Itīs just amazing.
can we somehow stop this fucking noise?Huh
It's just ridiculous.
ok TH is scam, so just wait your refund and come back later to tell "Remember What I Told You" with happy smile.

TH for me is trustable, maybe i will pay for it, or maybe not.

So please stop/

Thanks

178  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Request all the Mining Company supplying the Asic Miner to Consider this option! on: June 28, 2013, 11:22:19 PM
They could just build them and mine until they have covered the cost.

Then post them all to me for free...

Yes, this will be perfect.
Or better you just need to provide bank\paypal\whatever data and they should send money directly  Grin Grin Grin
179  Local / Барахолка / Re: Bitfury ASIC 65nm - 120 Gh/s (Украина) on: June 28, 2013, 11:11:28 PM
