How much token price in main sale ? will equal pre-sale price ?

Token price in the main sale will depend on which week. The listed price is $0.68, so should be roughly as follows.

1st week: $0.544 (20% discount)
2nd week: $0.578 (15% discount)
3rd week: $0.612 (10% discount)
Final week: $0.68 (0% discount)

Would need to get the exact figures confirmed by admin, but these are the details available on the website.

Question for admin, will the unsold tokens from the pre-sale be available from the beginning of the main sale? This presumably would make the 7,000,000 token sale limit for that period increase. I am guessing the unsold tokens from each stage will roll forward to the next one.

Now that the presale is over, when is the next sale kicking off and what bonuses do we get

Guessing it will be around the 17th/18th March if they say it will be around a week. Bonuses start at 20% in the first week, 15% in the second, 10% in the third, and no bonus in the last week. Each stage could finish early if the allocated tokens sell out for that particular period, think it's 7,000,000 allocated for each of the first 3 weeks, and the balance in the last week. As to where the confirmed date will be announced, not sure, but guessing here and on their social media channels. Admin?

I saw on Twitter that the pre-sale is finished and main sale launching in about a week. Original date was immediately after the pre-sale, presumably this slight delay means you are looking to make some adjustments in the meantime? Any indication on what these might be, is it mainly related to the KYC implementation as mentioned on the website? And how involved will the KYC be, just basic or more in-depth?

Yep, true. I was just happy to hear he is getting a bit of karma thrown back at him. Doubt it will change him much though, leopards don't change their spots.
446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Highs and Lows Predictable? on: March 11, 2018, 07:29:15 PM
It is common knowledge by now that the Bitcoin price takes a bit of a dive after December of every year.

I wish it had been common knowledge enough for me to have known it. I read and watch a lot to pick up as much as I can, but even though now I see that it makes perfect sense, I didn't catch on at the time. Will definitely be in a better position from now on, learning every day about different trends and how to spot them. Most of the stuff I am learning now is probably stuff that a majority of people on here already know, but I'm happy enough that I am now involved and improving. Onwards and upwards.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Which project has the best 'real' use - not as an investment? on: March 11, 2018, 02:57:59 PM
Most of the coins I have invested in have been for exactly that, investment, with a plan to (hopefully) sell them down the line for a profit. Which projects are out there which have the best value in terms of using the actual currency for the purpose intended? I have seen a few based in the financial markets, plus the gambling and gaming ones. But are there any particular ones where the benefit of using their currency as intended outweighs the investment benefits?
448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Highs and Lows Predictable? on: March 11, 2018, 02:16:04 PM
Yeah, the question mark at the end of the title was important. I realise that nothing in the markets can be predicted 100%, otherwise the markets wouldn't exist. But just interested to see the overall pattern of Bitcoin's price over the last few years. I know most traders do regular analysis of all patterns and use much more complicated indicators to pick out buy and sell points on a daily basis. Even after doing all of that, it is still unpredictable, but it does give you a headstart against those that are buying completely blind.
449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin - Highs and Lows Predictable? on: March 10, 2018, 05:22:25 PM
I was just looking through the historical prices of Bitcoin on bitcoin.com (https://charts.bitcoin.com/chart/price) and noticed that the high points and low points seem to be (give or take a bit) fairly predictable. The highest price of Bitcoin each year always seems to be towards the end of the year, normally December; and the lowest price always seems to be at the beginning of the year, normally January. Obviously throughout the year there is plenty of market movement up and down, and some periods may over or under run slightly, but as a general pattern, it's an eye opener.

2010 -

Low - No real action on the price until July, when it jumped from virtually nothing to about $0.09. Therefore lowest price January to June.
High - Hit $0.35 in November

Percentage rise from lowest to highest point almost 300%

2011 -

Low - Started the year at around $0.30
High - Hit $29 in June

Percentage rise from lowest to highest point almost 10,000%

2012 -

Low - Dropped to around $4 in February
High - Rose to just under $14 by December

Percentage rise from lowest to highest point around 250%

2013 -

Low - Carried on from December at around $13 in January
High - Huge rise up to over $1100 by November

Percentage rise from lowest to highest point almost 8,500%

2014 -

Low - Low point right at the end of the year, when it dropped to just over $300
High - Hit it's high right at the beginning of the year in January at around $950 before immediately dropping like a stone

Percentage rise from lowest to highest point just over 200% (pretty irrelevant this one, as the high was in January and the low in December, so would show a loss unless trading throughout the year)

2015 -

Low - Didn't drop too much lower than December 2014, and was at around $190 in January
High - Crept up to $460 by December

Percentage rise from lowest to highest point almost 150%

2016 -

Low - Standard January drop to about $370
High - Steadily moved up, roller coaster style, to almost $1000 in December

Percentage rise from lowest to highest point just over 150%

2017 -

Low - Just under $800 in January
High - Around $20,000 in December before...

Percentage rise from lowest to highest point almost 2500%

-----------------------------------------------------------

None of this really means anything I guess, but interesting nonetheless.

Another random fact, August 2013 was the last time you could buy a Bitcoin for less than $100. And hopefully that won't be changing anytime soon.

450  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Average down and relax... on: March 10, 2018, 03:09:32 PM
When I first started to invest ....

here is your problem right in the beginning of your comment!
you have to decide whether you want to start trading bitcoin or you just want to make an investment in bitcoin. i say they are two very different options.

if you want to just invest, none of the things you are listing after this makes any sense because they are market fluctuations and an investor should not even care about these short term fluctuations anyways!

if you want to trade then that means you have to be more serious about it. you said you bought at $18,000 then follow it up with "unlucky"? that doesn't make sense. ok price dropped but so what? as a trader you should immediately adjust your strategy with the market. you sell at a loss with your stop loss and then buy back at the bottom (in the dip) sell on top buy back in the dip, rinse and repeat. that is what trading is not just buying and holding and hoping for the best and then saying things like "unlucky".

Fair point, I think I phrased it wrong. I should have said 'When I first started to take an interest in cryptocurrency...'. I have only been involved for the past six months and have held Bitcoin since then. I also do some trading with a number of altcoins, but not on a daily basis, nowhere near. My point was more that I didn't know about that strategy until further in, and it is a very useful one to keep in mind when the market drops. I really only trade to hopefully build up my Bitcoin, along with a couple of others that I think (hope) will pay off down the line. Using the word 'unlucky' was just to emphasise the dangers of buying after a long run up (and/or bad timing). Everyone says 'buy the dip', and it is great when you catch it; but I thought I bought the dip a few times, only for it to keep dipping. I do not have large positions (not yet anyway), and was lucky enough to not invest all my fiat, as it was definitely not a strategy based on knowledge at the time. Definitely still learning in all aspects, and have been fortunate enough to get some great feedback just by posting this topic.
451  Other / Politics & Society / Martin Shkreli - Sentenced to Seven Years on: March 09, 2018, 09:42:47 PM
Not much to say, he was convicted of securities fraud and conspiracy. Good. Quite possibly he deserved more in my humble opinion, the prosecution were going for double that, so theoretically he got off lightly. He's the guy that is known as the 'Pharma Bro' after purchasing the rights to a life-saving drug and massively increasing the price (Daraprim - he hiked the price by around 5,000%). Sure there'll be an appeal, at least that's why they're not immediately confiscating any funds until the full process is finished.

452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Exchange? on: March 09, 2018, 06:13:52 PM
I just added Bitmex to my list of exchanges, not for my standard buys, but for a bit of fun doing some long and short trading on Bitcoin. Easy sign up and up to 100x leverage, I haven't gone above 25x yet. Not for the faint hearted, but it's definitely entertaining. There's other coins on there too, like Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Neo, Stellar and about 5 or 6 others, but not enough volume to work (not yet anyway). Just started off with about $50 and haven't lost it all yet, so it's not too bad. Can lose it all very quickly though, so won't be putting much in. Beats watching a movie hahaha.
453  Economy / Trading Discussion / Average down and relax... on: March 09, 2018, 02:23:45 PM
When I first started to invest I used to panic whenever the market dropped by a few dollars, now I've started to enjoy the drops. It provides an ideal opportunity to average down, something I really should have learned about earlier, but glad I did eventually. For those who don't know what 'averaging down' is, it is buying more coins (in this example anyway, but works in exactly the same way with regular stocks) when the price drops to bring down your average buying price, therefore lowering the price at which you can cash in a profit. Using Bitcoin as an example...

1. Bought 1 BTC at $18,000 back in January (aaaarrrgggghh, unlucky...)
2. Price of Bitcoin drops to $9,000 (aaaarrrggghhh, why me...) - your $18,000 of Bitcoin is now only worth $9,000 and you cannot make any profit until it gets back above $18,000 - or can you??
3. Buy 1 BTC at $9,000 (clever, buy the sh*t out of that dip) - your average price paid for 1 BTC is now 'only' $13,500
4. Cash in profit at any point above $13,500 (champagne corks popping)

Obviously there are additional factors to work into this, as it would normally be worth making more than one extra purchase as the price drops to get a better average and to cover any sudden bounces back up, but it definitely makes market drops easier to swallow. It also emphasises the need to not put all your eggs in one basket and make sure you have the funds to buy 'if' (translates in cryptospeak as 'when') the market falls. Deciding when you make these averaging down purchases is the key, as no-one has unlimited funds to keep buying more if the market keeps dropping, but plenty of research and use of technical analysis will go a long way to helping pick out buy points.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Exchange? on: March 09, 2018, 10:11:37 AM
I did use Liqui once, actually very easy to use. Registered, deposited some ETH and bought the coins, then withdrew them and haven't been back on since. Straightforward process though and would use it again. Hear too many bad reports about hitBTC regarding withdrawals, and haven't had the balls to use Etherdelta yet, but will at some point. Jury's still out on Cryptopia, nothing against it really, but lots of negative reviews. Might use it if the right coin at the right price pops up. Kraken and Poloniex I registered on, but still haven't completed all the details required to use them properly, should really finish that because seem to be popular exchanges.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Best Exchange? on: March 09, 2018, 08:49:03 AM
I have accounts on about 6 or 7 exchanges, and mostly use either Binance and Bittrex (more recently I've started using Kucoin too). From searching around, I like the look of Huobi, seems to get quite a lot of the new coins and has decent volume, plus seems reasonably trustworthy. Are there any other exchanges worth looking at for trading lower marketcap coins that have decent liquidity? Went off Bittrex a bit, they seem to have a hard on for de-listing coins. Not looking to day-trade, but maybe swing trade. Bought into the ICO of Cobinhood and have done a few trades on there, but still not great volume.

Seems like an interesting project, good to have backing within the industry itself. Anything that improves the current system has to be an improvement anyway.
