I will be in NYC in about 2 weeks and would definitely consider an in-person trade with you for the right price

I'll also throw in a backup offer (hope that's okay) if there is any issue with current high bidder. I offer 0.4 BTC. Thanks!

Ok I see now...that makes sense..But can they not just go the the uberbills website and send everyone there that amount and theoretically dust every loaded coin? And when he says properly manage a Bitcoin Wallet, what does that mean? Does it mean just black out the FirstBits? And if someone does dust you, can't you just take out the extra BTC added? Thankyou again for your time
They can dust the coins, but it would be expensive and pointless. You can easily exclude inputs from outgoing transactions, so getting dusted isn't a real issue. If someone did feel like dusting coins, there's a nice list of available targets here: https://nastyfans.org/mint.jsonHow do you exclude inputs? I've never heard of this. Especially since you don't actually have the priv key...

The main issue with physical XMR, as I understand it, is that there is actually no way to verify that the coin is loaded without, or course, peeling and spending. More trusted sources selling these (I consider BTCC to be "trusted") the better. I'd already have Smoothie's 3 XMR coin set if I could afford the XMR to load them!
Also, one of BTCC's gimmicks is loading the bitcoins directly from a block reward to put "uncirculated" addresses. I imagine you can do the same with XMR. Would be pretty neat. I'd buy.
Strictly speaking, then is there no way to know if a physical BTC coin is really funded before the hologram is removed and the private key is known. The current physical coin system is based on trust. Sure there is. There is a public address on the front of the coin that you can check the blockchain to see if it's there, and know when it's been spent. The XMR address on the coin isn't verifiable on the blockchain - you can't check the address to know if there are funds and can't know if it's been spent or not. If you're suggesting that you don't know for certain if there really is a corresponding private key to the public key on the front of bitcoin coins, that may be true, but all it would take is one person trying to spend their coin and realizing they don't match, or that there is no private key, to realize that the creators are scammers.

I'll jump up my offer a bit more to 1.19 for both.

Sale pending, unless higher offer is sent before sale is final. Not involved in any of the bids but... What is the point of having an auction with an end time if you are selling it to someone who bidded over the ending time because it is a higher bid. You should honor your own auctionrules and declare the correct winner. I.m.o BookofNick because you mentioned auction ends @59 and not 59:59 or 00:00. People usually display time in 00:00:00 so I figured I was in before the buzzer, but either way selling to someone who bid 0.05 higher three hours after auction's stated close is not right to make an additional $40. I note also that this auction did not include any bid increments. You could argue it either way - of course I'm sure seller would side with you since you had the higher bid - but you have to admit it wasn't very clear. And yeah - I would concede this "auction" to you over roterdam. But it's seems like the seller is not honoring his auction. Please...just list something for sale rather than making it an auction if you have no intention of honoring the auction.
