Another dip!! I’m not praying for that don’t think my portfolio can survive another dip, positive vibes only please  Cry

I've been waiting for it. I don't know why, but I have the feeling that this is the last dip this year. Meanwhile I'm also worried whether all my supported projects will survive these low prices.

Fact is not all project is going to bounce back trust me.
A lot of projects are already closing shop, anyone that survives is here to stay for life

This period is really making a lot of ICO go away and give up on their project only those who really believe that they can pull through are staying.

But would you blame them really? I don't think I'll, many are forced into the ugly situation take for instance product development, the funding will naturally come from the funds raised right but in this case the funds are really not having same value they used to

In my personal view, I think the project must invest more in generating actual traffic. Get actual paying users. ICO has difficulty attracting investment now; That is why we see a variety of different models to convince investors like this here.

I'll suggest this also, learnt of AMA with CEO
Have it happened already?

ICO Success wave these past year was overwhelming. No doubt the reason for the present market status. It’s very important top exchanges don’t list shit coins and it’s good to know the bitmax.io team is careful about that. ONtology, ONT and ONT it’s gas, would be listed on bitmax in a recent announcement. Have fun guys with the trade and win ONT tokens from the prize pool of 15 000 ONT.

This year crypto is the exact opposite of what we had last year but I believe the coming year should be different and superb, it's had being hopeful but it is what it is fortunately

It is only now that I see that there is more bonus for "major investors" from 25 ETH upwards. I would say that at the moment this is cheaper than it has been for a long time. ETH is now just over $100

This is a very great opportunity for them to get Tachain tokens due to low price of major tokens, btc is testing a new dip, if it goes beyond this point then I'm really speechless

There's not much going on in their telegram channel either. Does anyone know what's going on?
But there were always a lot of conversations there.

I think Bitcointalk always have lots of supporters for projects compared to telegram in most cases
I think the team is hard on the Job and so busy no update is coming from them as it used to

I think more support is gotten by the team from telegram but it all depends on which platform the user comes across first. someone who uses bitcointalk frequently will find this thread quickly than someone who frequents on telegram.

Well you ain't out of place on your observations
True any medium of first contact often times take prominence in a user activity

A couple of new announcements from Covalent team, most of which I find exciting and a relief to much asked questions like the tokenomics. The on a popular ICO review website, ICODROPS, you can find details of COVA tokens. Also, No Public Sales. Really?

Yes, that's correct. They don't have plans to hold a public sale due to regulatory concerns. The only way now to get tokens is to buy them on Huobi once COVA got listed there. Because both the Airdrop and the private sale are already over and the only other way you could've gotten tokens was when voting for Cova to get listed on Huobi.

So the point of them not having a public sale is because of the regulation thing?, never knew about that but then again, i'm really excited about the outcome of such and frankly, i find that a good way of selling their tokens interesting, the public sale has been misused by many, as all they do is just buy and dump the next moment, leading to a downtrend of the project

It's indeed a smart and productive approach, this will force project to only come out with productive projects, one that's readily sellable, I can only see the good side of this

In fact, many ICO projects have promised to give investors a refund for a long time, but in the end they did not fulfill their promise!

It doesn't mean Tachain is one of them, i think we should still give them the benefits of the doubt
I think the project team is quite active and it shows a good sign

I think if a project is legally registered they will be bound to law. That is why it is important to make sure that the project is legally registered.

Are they duly registered yet? I didn't check for that before now
It's been long I visited the project telegram group
Tachain is not yet registered in the regulators and that means if that was only a rumour. If the ico registered to the regulators and the regulators will give us guarantee to get fines if the ico will not meet our expectation. SEC has been doing it before. It's so simple to imagine about that.

I think company that needs to register with the regulators are companies that issue out security and not utility tokens like Tachain, although I stand to be corrected as I don't really see the need for regulations here

With SEC rules coming down on CryptoCurrency and everyone involved, it’s important for everyone to Verify Residency. Also, it’s to protect traders on the exchange.

Well, like they say, SEC don’t make the rules they try to enforce it and when they start working on a new economy they don’t relent. Crypto won’t be exempted.
But it’s easy, SEC is only for US citizens and consumers with indica of US person status. When we KYCe, we got no problems with these rules.

It's looking like it's for the US but man look closely, this enforcements, this clampdown is affecting the whole world economy on crypto
Why this may sound or look good, this defeats the purpose of anonymity the crypto world enjoys

SEC represents US investors and businesses but it also applies to global markets. The US is arguably the most powerful country in the world, so if their Government makes a decision on how they want to tax or regulate crypto then the rest of the world normally follows in their footsteps.

I just hope China takes over this power someday. Sec is doing a good job but truth is they are becoming overbearing this days. I saw a tweet from a Twitter Influencer that said If ETH had happened now they would have been sanctioned by Sec, if you look closely and understand that tweet you'll likely agree with it.

I'm so excited that COVA has successfully earned a listing on Huobi through their competition program. This is a massive step forward for COVA, this will really help them establish themselves as a top blockchain project. Access to hundreds of thousands of users and millions of $ worth of volume.

I hope the listing will take place soon. I really want to buy tokens as early (and as cheap) as possible. I think in a few years I can benefit greatly from it

I tell people now is the time to get on the train and buy some very good project and keep for the future
But unfortunately I don't think people are willing to heed the call

I really do not understand the rationale behind the delay of the MVP
It's almost taking forever to release, I asked in the group and it seems postponed to an unknown date

Well, that's really sad. The ICO is running till the 21st of December. It would've been good to have the MVP as early as possible so that as many potential investors can try it out and so get convinced about the exchange and their investment.

I really hope it got sorted out real quick and investors are able to try out the MVP
I think they have a very good chance at surviving than a lot of new projects out there springing forth here and there

Yeah. They are one of the scarce dependable projects one can find these days. the voting competition was just a test of their capacity and their ability to really deliver if given the chance.

I think their project is brilliant, there is a lot of technical knowledge behind COVA. They have gone about their development and marketing in a very professional way, I think a lot of people will be interested in learning more about their project and see how it can improve the conventional internet protocol.

They made the attraction to them come easily and from a genuine place and not from a shilling point.
They have got to be one of the most interesting project for me this year

Naturally there is no 100 % solution for returning money or somekind of insurance in crypto (maybe only when will come options exchanges with special features to insure), but it's good that some attemps are appearing.
You understand that insurance, in any case, provides for certain conditions, which very soon may still not be fulfilled at all, because such situations are so rare that today they may not happen at all.

I know of buy back policies and I know of quite an handful of projects that carried out such activities and work
Would you call that an insurance policy that failed?

I know we just got past a huge moment for the team with Huobi but I wonder what the next big step will be to bring forward the project to an even bigger step

Marketing! They made mention of that in the last blog
Since they ain't going for any public sales, they decide to focus on private and marketing if I read right

Good point. KYC is important to avoid illegal transaction/to stop money laundering cases. Without KYC it's impossible to control bad play.

I don't mind doing KYC for good projects. Its worth spending time and giving our details and it should be legit and gainful in the end.

I couldn't agree more on this but then again project keep falling which kind of not favorable to big guys anymore and that's people are backing off from crypto and kYC as a whole
