21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Earnings on: February 27, 2018, 10:49:35 AM
I would say that it completely depends which bounty you go for and the team who actually looks after it. It can be especially difficult to pick an absolute winner in this over saturated market. So in turn I try and skim WP's and watch a few AMA's etc to try and best discover the best bounty program to go into.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sent Monero without payment ID on: February 27, 2018, 10:46:10 AM
Its cool I hear Elon Musk is also with this same problem  Wink Could this be a similar glitch to hacking into to TESLA to mine this crypto haha??
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins still dropping in price on: February 27, 2018, 10:40:15 AM
Of late altcoins have been dropping a serious amount. I would think the reason for this would most likely be a serious over-saturation of the current market place. Too many alts are now undervalued seriously, the only real way i can see a larger increase for price in the current market will be a large new influx of people coming into the ICO marketplace. I wouldn't expect this to rise until we see ETH back to 950 dollar +

24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should you be worried? on: February 22, 2018, 05:12:37 PM
If you look at price charts and stats throughout the last few Jan/Feb's in the last few years it seem crypto takes a huge hit a fair amount of times. I would be inclined to give the advice to just HOLD onto your crypto through these rough patches and to not panic. There will be slides and rises, you will just have to deem when the best time is to take out the currency.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we Need Altcoin? on: February 22, 2018, 05:10:12 PM
It increases variety for sure, its a nice way to increase the overall size of the market place and a cool way to get involved with crypto if you don't want to have the huge risks the larger currencies can give you. Having a currency floating between .10 and .50 dollars is a nicer problem to have.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you choose to hold Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: February 21, 2018, 04:11:06 PM
Personally I am not just going to stick with ETH even though its price seems so temperamental. I feel that soon the value of ETH is bound to sky rocket and we will see a large increase in price. More and more ERC20 tokens are starting to arise using the same blockchain as ETH so this is where the future will be. Sure when NTC supply runs out it will become gold but it will cost an arm and a leg to move about thats for sure!
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO spreadsheets on: February 21, 2018, 04:07:06 PM
I think Ian Balina's ones quite interesting. The whole idea of Token Economics is an interesting one. Analysing the best performances of this coin will be greatly beneficial to all of us contributors to identify which projects are good and which ones we should give a miss. Rankings come from 'Team, Product , Economics and value'.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like airdrops? on: February 21, 2018, 04:04:46 PM
In some ways I do like them. Its a nice way to spread out coins amongst the community that support a given project. However, I do feel that sometimes they can easily be forgotten about too. Often these airdrops will amount to a very little amount of ETH anyway but its still nice to HOLD onto these tokens to gage how the project is doing further down the line.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm very disappointed with myself. on: February 20, 2018, 08:53:45 PM
My advice to you would be this is a mistake most people in Crypto make 10/15 times throughout their career. I think that the best advice is to always HOLD if you can. If you have a salary coming through from your job then HOLD. If you have a lot of ALTS however then my advice to you would be to just sell a small amount each year (under the taxable amount for capital gains in your country).

30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the price of bitcoin so high on: February 20, 2018, 08:29:08 PM
The price of BTC is determined by investor confidence and how much everyone is selling/ buying bitcoin. This means that the volume is completely temperamental and will eventually need some sort of stability for investor confidence.  I would avoid these highly fluctuating currencies for a quick sell (day trade) as its near enough impossible to predict.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook against bitcoin? on: February 20, 2018, 08:25:25 PM
Facebook are really inherently looking at discriminating against ICO's that are advertising a quick buck on the platform (which can then result in people losing money). The same actually goes for looking over at Bitcoin or Etheruem investments advertised too with certain exchanges. I can see why FB wants to regulate this part of its advertisements and make sure only legitimate companies (once gained white-listings) can make good educational ads.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can you tell the end is near on: February 20, 2018, 08:00:36 PM
True and now the difficultly is to see the next good coin to go in to... It will be a lot harder in the long run as the market is now over saturated with these apparent 'Shit coins' that have apparently dominated the market space. Even small quick investments are probably the way to go - you can HOLD for the long run or change 2/ 3x in advance and then you are able to keep moving forward.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now a good time to invest in ICO? on: February 20, 2018, 07:56:17 PM
Well it was at the start of the month when you posted this, so it would have been then with such low ETH prices. But now maybe think again, don't let this put you off a good project though - this is always the most important thing. A coin that will deliver you a great raise / ROI will be worth it .
34  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Trezor or ledger nano s? on: February 20, 2018, 07:53:48 PM
I personally prefer Ledger wallets to use, they are easy to use, safe and secure. A nice way to access decentralised exchanges and also a nice way to access MEW feeling safe and secure. I bought one instantly as soon as i started to receive a lot of ETH and ALTS from ICO's and do not regret it one bit.

Ledger has a great back up feature too so always feel secure in using it!

35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the future of crypto, bitcoin is not. on: February 20, 2018, 07:52:04 PM
Yes I completely agree with this statement. Ethereum has so much more potential than BTC really in this market. Sure BTC has the money right now as the godfather of crypto - but really ETH will in the long run have the best chance to succeed as all the new alts will be running on its blockchain.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Western Union is testing Ripple for money transfers! on: February 20, 2018, 07:50:08 PM
Its definitely a step in the right direction, I hope that this will now further influence more transactions through these mediums. I would say all the new alts coming out that have the intention for 'unbanked transactions' will start to replace these payments for sure. NOTE: These will need serious KYC/ AML checks !
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Choose a Good ICO on: February 15, 2018, 11:42:11 PM
A great method for me is to watch AMA's and read whitepapers or a summarised vision. What you really need to do is to highlight what makes a good ICO - what technology is going to expand and go big in blockchain, and also what partnerships are in place with businesses.
38  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum? on: February 15, 2018, 11:38:55 PM
Ethereum is far superior to Bitcoin through capacity, chance of success is higher with all alts (ERC20 tokens) making huge headways in 2018. I hope all BTC holders will still see good rewards but at the end of it all I would seriously suggest ETH for the long term.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: i am newbi so i am late or not to this field? on: February 15, 2018, 10:40:41 AM
the crypto revolution is just starting my friend, get your rankings up, learn about the power of Ethereum, learn about the best alts and get into some bounty programs too ! In my opinion we are only just seeing the start of something new here and it is only now becoming mainstream... well this forum is still under the radar for a while !
40  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you been scammed? or almost? on: February 14, 2018, 04:11:03 PM
Not yet I'm taking my security extremely seriously, and am currently using my Ledger Nano S to access all crypto - I hope everyone else is doing the same. Other hardware wallets are also decent - i just like the Nano S for its style and simplicity! Using Private keys is fairly annoying I have to say and easily hackable.
