1881  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Canada bans crypto leverage and margin trading after FTX collapse on: December 15, 2022, 09:45:53 AM
After United States, now Canada. No magin, perpetual or future trading again on exchanges in Canada as Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA), the council of Canada’s provincial and territorial securities regulators, on Dec. 13 issued an update to crypto trading platforms operating in the country...

Thus, the trader will need a larger deposit to trade the same volume. And to increase the deposit, the trader will have to use the services of a traditional bank in which he can take out a loan. After all, in fact, such a loan is not much different from the leverage provided by the cryptocurrency exchange.
1882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The reason Dogecoin could fail in the future on: December 14, 2022, 11:43:44 PM
Doge existed before, but Elon and his army of followers pushed Doge's price to the sky! As I remember he was accepting Doge for buying Tesla cars, I wonder how many people (if any?) purchased Tesla with Doge coins?..

No, Tesla has never been sold for dogecoin. There was such an option to buy Tesla for bitcoin, but it was subsequently canceled. After that, Elon Musk announced the sale of Tesla merch for Dogecoin - it was a year ago, and this option is still available.
1883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or altcoin on: December 14, 2022, 03:23:54 PM
...What replacement coins would you recommend?

It all depends on what kind of knowledge you have about cryptocurrency. If you are a beginner and don't know anything, then you should focus on investing in bitcoin and Ethereum. Investing in altcoins will be very risky for you, as it requires knowledge to conduct a comprehensive analysis.
1884  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The reason Dogecoin could fail in the future on: December 14, 2022, 02:54:15 PM
If it weren't for Elon Musk, Dogecoin would have failed long ago.

In this case, it is unclear how Doge existed before, until Elon Musk paid attention to it. Of course, having such a patron as Elon Musk would be good for any project, but this is not a decisive factor in the existence of the coin. So in any case, the Dogecoin community is more important than the patronage of Elon Musk.
1885  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance lots of FUD on: December 14, 2022, 12:06:39 PM
Binance is centralized and that's why many are starting to panic when there's bad news about them. What if before the bad news Binance starts to halt withdrawals? Well, that's the real thing but so far, this is just to make a FUD and if the thing is real, Binance will handle it for sure...

It looks like Binanse did an excellent job with the test, ensuring uninterrupted withdrawal on customer demand, which was a consequence of FUD. And after this FUD disappears completely, Binance will receive even more traders and, accordingly, even more funds that will be transferred from other cryptocurrency exchanges.
1886  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hello i want to make traders dream come true on: December 13, 2022, 03:30:29 PM
Well i belive in law of attraction Smiley
But Im a dream trader i go by my intution.
Im allready in my dreams on yact and with my first lambo.
I belive that right now Im in dream while Im writing this here i need to wake up and get in to my lambo and yacht.

Im here to take all the money from the market in my pocket.
I will buy the mansion not in moon but on the planet mars becouse If i keep my goals higher the little lower goals Will turn into reality.

Anyways If i get enough people to follow to me then i can move the Market and we all gona make profit.

Optimistic expectations that are unlikely to be realized. And in order to understand this, you will need to study a lot to know more about the cryptocurrency market. But in any case, it's not harmful to dream, everyone should have an impossible goal.
1887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Brazil Fan Token Down 60% After Losing to Croatia on: December 12, 2022, 04:13:01 PM
...Most of the Fan tokens are like this, the price follows the performance of the team, and it seems that these tokens have no future and also do not provide any benefits for their holders. But for people who like to "gamble" this seems to be a suitable token for them.

It's hard for me to say what the price of the fan token depends on, but if you look at the cost of the Argentine Football Association Fan Token (ARG), it definitely does not depend on the successful game of the team. So the price of the ARG coin before the start of the World Cup was about $9, and now, when the Argentine national team reached the semi-finals of the championship, the price of the coin is $3.78.
1888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why The Goverment try to centralize Crypto Be CDBC? on: December 12, 2022, 03:46:23 PM
Governments want to make the masses believe that the new CBDCs will be the digital currencies of the future but obviously compared to Bitcoin, these currencies will only worsen the current situation as fiat money remains a somewhat anonymous method of payment, something that could be easily traced with a centralized electronic currency.

CBDC are simply another form of money that will have circulation on a par with cash and non-cash forms of money. But given that the CBDC will be created on the blockchain, the government will be able to track every transaction for any period of time.
1889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Crypto With a Job.. on: December 12, 2022, 02:07:33 PM
If you are a big boss and others do all the work in the office for you, then it is possible that you will have the opportunity to trade during working hours. But I think it's better in this case to focus on investing, which takes less time than trading. Otherwise, your business may become less efficient by losing a manager.
1890  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance futures Are you full time trader ? on: December 11, 2022, 02:15:22 PM
If you are a successful trader and have a guaranteed income, which is very rare in the cryptocurrency market, then you can really stop working for the boss, wasting your valuable time. But in this case, you need to pay for various insurance fees yourself, which will provide you with a pension when the time comes.
1891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The goodness of long-term investing in cryptocurrency on: December 11, 2022, 01:56:59 PM
For long-term investment, you will not panic because of short-term price fluctuations. Although you may make less money than in the short term, the long term is safer than short term investing (provided you are investing in value coins, not meme coins). You can spend more time analyzing market conditions.

You will not panic only if you do not follow the price changes in the cryptocurrency market. If you regularly monitor the change in the value of your deposit, then you will be just as upset that it is decreasing as other traders. Now you may be upset that you could have bought more bitcoins if you hadn't done it a few months earlier.
1892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Crypto to buy for 2024 ? on: December 11, 2022, 07:12:43 AM
Every person who lives with cryptos know that cryptocurrencies will dump in 2023 and in 2024 we will more grow...
so in this topic, we discuss which coin is better to buy for more gains about 10X to 1000X!

If you are so confident that coin prices will continue to decline in 2023, then you can open a short and earn over the next year, without waiting for growth in 2024. In this case, you should hold off on purchases if the price of the coins you specified continues to decline.
1893  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto exchanges charging for inactive accounts . Do you support this ? on: December 11, 2022, 06:45:21 AM
It makes no difference whether you keep coins in exchange or not. If you do not do trade in a month, there is a fixed charge for this. It does not gets affected by the fact that you bought a lot of coins through the exchange in past and are storing it now in a hardware wallet.

What happens if my account runs out of money? Will my balance show a negative value? If this is the case, then such actions of the exchange are more like fraud, since they require payment for services not provided. And you should stay away from such exchanges.
1894  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decoin SCAM on: December 10, 2022, 08:57:56 PM
...the platform has been inactive for 15 days, it is impossible to reach them by email, 100 emails in 15 days, I guess the project is dead..

I think that you will not be able to get your money back. Nevertheless, I am interested in the question, for what reason did you choose this exchange? That they offered you that you entrusted them with your money, while there are many centralized and decentralized exchanges with a good reputation.
1895  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My advice If you are here to make money on: December 10, 2022, 07:25:10 PM
Futures would be hard for inexperienced traders to do especially if you can't deal with the volatility of the market and couldn't go along with the prices of crypto...

In this case, an inexperienced trader will lose his deposit very quickly. Futures trading is dangerous not only for beginners, but also for experienced traders who also lose their money. But an experienced trader has the advantage that he uses risk management, which limits losses.
1896  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My advice If you are here to make money on: December 10, 2022, 10:59:14 AM
...The problem with most retail traders is that they set too high expectations for their trades, as a result, the market does not reach their take-profit levels and the trade instantly turns from profitable to losing, although it had the potential to extract some profit.

This really confirms once again the words that the main problem that leads to loss is greed. Thus, without fixing a profit at the level of 5-10%, after which a profitable position becomes unprofitable, the trader turns into an investor at one moment.
1897  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why everybody is panicking ? Its a game of greed and fear ! on: December 10, 2022, 10:31:26 AM
There are various reasons why you have to sell your coins and fix a loss. In some cases, investors sell their coins to buy them later at a lower price. We all remember how Tesla sold 75% of its BTC at a loss. Since then, the price of bitcoin has decreased by about 2 times, which means that Tesla can buy 2 times more bitcoins for the same money.
That is if that's the plan, to rebuy at a lower price. But those that I know of, didn't buy when the price fell more but instead, they took the cash and forgot the market.

It's a good strategy for those who have been doing it for most times when the market is uncertain and most likely is about to have some more dump.
And that is a huge problem with that strategy, if the price goes up after they sell then they are going to be very reticent about buying the same coins for a higher price.

However even if they happened to be right and the price went down those people are now going to begin to wonder if the price will go down even further after they buy, so they will be stuck in a cycle in which they will not know what to do, so while such a strategy may seem to have its uses, when you actually try to implement the strategy it becomes quite difficult to do it correctly.

Obviously, companies like Tesla have a team of economists who can assess the current and future state of the market. And regardless of our desires, we see that the price of bitcoin correlates with the S&P 500 index, which means it is possible to predict the movement of BTC based on these economic assumptions. Therefore, it was decided that the price of bitcoin would decrease and there would be an opportunity to redeem coins at a lower price.
1898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your opinion on the future of Decentralised exchanges on: December 09, 2022, 06:24:56 PM
Centralised exchanges are not only useful for converting crypto to fiat. CEX offers margin trading, which DEX does not yet have and probably will not in the near future. This is probably the only difficulty for DEX at the moment. If it were implemented, many people would probably give up on CEX.
I think dex could offer margin trading as well, it would be difficult but not impossible...

Margin trading has already been implemented on the decentralized exchange Dydx.exchange. So now centralized exchanges have lost their monopoly on margin trading. There may be other DEX on which margin trading is available, but I don't know about it.
1899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The bear market is your friend on: December 09, 2022, 04:39:32 PM
Bear market is a type of market everybody want to experience once in a week or once in a month to prepare well before bull market will come in, but this long bear market is not my friend because am seriously panicking the way the bear season is causing me to look like nobody in my society. I guess, it is time for people to experience massive pumping of Bitcoin and altcoins in the market so that people will stop panicking for the bear condition.

This is a very good time for beginners who have a great opportunity to buy coins at the lowest price. And they will have an advantage over those who came to the crypto market at the end of a bullish trend and are now fixing losses or continuing to hold unprofitable orders.
1900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BNB Coin Hit $300 Mark in 2023? on: December 09, 2022, 09:48:58 AM
...What do you think, Binance price will surge above $289 or bearish trend will drag it down?

In order for the BNB price to reach $300 again, there is no need to wait for 2023. Such a price is not exorbitant and in order to achieve it in the short term, it is enough for Binance to announce the launch of the next launchpad on the cryptocurrency exchange.
