1801  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips to Becoming a Successful Holder on: January 06, 2023, 10:26:04 AM
...What do you think? What other tips are there for becoming a successful holder?

The problem of every investor is that he does not fully implement all the tips that the OP has published. This can happen either due to ignorance or in cases where the investor specifically violates them, hoping to increase his deposit. But it can definitely be said that the holder should not sell his coins when they have reached the minimum price.
1802  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as a newbie? on: January 06, 2023, 09:47:48 AM
...I am thinking of buying coins that are 15% or more down and then selling once they pump 10% and move onto the next one that is 15% down and then again sell at 10% profit and just keep repeating...

Such a strategy will not always be profitable, since many coins, after their price has decreased by 15%, contrary to your expectations, continue to decline. In this case, you should have a backup plan, which may be to use a stop loss to limit your losses.
1803  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on revenge trading? on: January 05, 2023, 04:21:09 PM
Do you think people intentionally go into revenge trading or is is just emotional?
Many, a lot of traders are chasing their losses and they will take putting in more funds as they'll think it could help to recover. Unfortunately, it was not the solution as it only makes you fail and lose more.

It is possible that some are familiar with the martingale strategy, when a player raises the stakes until he wins. But trading is not a casino where there is no technical analysis, and winning depends only on probability theory, so you can endlessly lose your money by trading against the trend.
1804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Introducing PiCoin - early mining! on: January 05, 2023, 01:57:52 PM
You posted about it in 2019, and we have seen it in these previous days that some exchanges has listed the PiCoin and they were only in a way where most of the people losses their money, they were in the greed or earning even more money, whereas the own PiCoin channel has announced that we didn't even bring the Mainnet.

You are a little confused between these similar coins. As far as I understand, OP writes about PiCoin - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/picoin/markets, which is not actually traded on a cryptocurrency exchange yet. You same write about the Pi network coin - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/pinetwork, which recently made a lot of noise after listing on Huobi.
1805  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone out there doing money by trading? How? on: January 05, 2023, 12:09:40 PM
This one for example: https://www.binance.com/en/futures-activity/leaderboard/user?encryptedUid=BAB8960FE8CCE6B8BFBF357BFDBAF117
I mean I might be wrong reading the data, however, I see that his Total ROI is -6.57% and Total PNL (USD) -175,183.33

The rating indicating "TopTraders By Weekly ROI" does not fully reflect the trading success of one or another trader, indicating only that he has been trading with profit over the past week. It is in this rating that the user you specified got. More objective data is presented in the "Featured Traders" rating, which is based on Total ROI.
1806  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am Bullish On Bitcoin Despite Bear market on: January 05, 2023, 11:19:23 AM
I see that many are optimistic in anticipation of a bull run. But I also remember from previous cycles, while such optimists are the majority in the market, we will not see a bull run, which will surely come after the last optimist sells his coins and leaves the market.
When you arent that completely having no trust on this market specially with Bitcoin then you would likely ending up on selling your stash which is really a very common mistake to be done.
Those perma bulls would be really that sticking into their plans and the best time to accumulate cheaper coins when everyone is really on fear and doubt which do simply
shows out about blood on the streets. We do have that common saying that buy when others are fearful and sell when everyone is greedy.
Its a matter of mindset and a mix of your experience towards the market which would be basing on your future actions.

Yes, I did sell most of my bitcoins. Of course, the sale price could have been higher, but I am nevertheless pleased that I sold BTC at almost the maximum price and can now buy even more bitcoins than I had before. As for "buy when others are fearful and sell when everyone is", so many were already afraid and bought bitcoin when its price dropped to $30000 and are now just watching the market, as they have exhausted their stock of stablecoins.
1807  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone out there doing money by trading? How? on: January 05, 2023, 01:31:23 AM
If you have not seen traders who trade with profit, then you need to refer to the Binance rating page https://www.binance.com/en/futures-activity/leaderboard Similar ratings exist on almost all cryptocurrency exchanges and you can become one of the leaders when your trading is as successful.

this is interesting list! never seen it before. Even more interesting is that those who are leaders of trading also in red! Many of them have negative total ROI.

I have looked through all the rating pages and have not found a trader who has a negative total ROI. Post here a screenshot of a trader who is included in this rating and has a negative total ROI. This is a rating and if you have a negative total ROI, then you will not be able to get into it.

...Hence the question: do you know anyone who is successful trading in crypto? or are you doing well by trading crypto?

1810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Islamic Coin, a Fact or a Delusion for Hype. on: January 04, 2023, 01:22:55 PM
It remains unclear to me how Islamic Coins will comply with the ethical norms of Sharia, as indicated on the official website of the coin? And in this case, what will be the difference between Islamic Coins from such coins as bitcoin and Ethereum from the point of view of Sharia?
1811  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding could be better on: January 04, 2023, 12:29:30 PM
My advice to traders that are losing is to still continue to trade, but using just 20% while 80% should go into holding. What do you people think about this? Out of 100% fund, what percentage can you advice a trader to use?

Everything will depend on whether you know how to trade? If the answer is negative, then any attempt to trade will ultimately result in the loss of the deposit, regardless of how much money you have allocated for this. If you have trading skills, then the best strategy for a losing position is to try to reduce the average order price by trading a small part of the deposit, which may be in the range of 20-30%.
1812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with new projects that introduce new Stable coins on: January 03, 2023, 05:57:26 PM
I don't understand why there are so many stablecoins and why everyone wants to have one. It's pointless, and they most likely won't move the giants of this market.

It is everyone's dream to exchange their printed coins for real dollars or a cryptocurrency that has real value. And as a rule, such stablecoins, contrary to their essence, do not have assets that would provide and maintain their value. So new stablecoins can be said to appear due to the greed of their issuers.
1813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with new projects that introduce new Stable coins on: January 03, 2023, 11:32:40 AM
...I never trusted anything that is centralized and we all know that most of them are centralized and that is why they suck. If that is the case then why wouldn't I pick btc? Maybe not stable but more secure and that's why it's definitely a great thing for me. I know for a fact that I have never lost a single satoshi, and been here for a long time, I am going to keep it that way.

The purpose of investing in bitcoin and stablecoin is very different. By buying a stablecoin, we aim to save our money, and by buying bitcoin we want to increase it. But it is precisely this desire to increase your deposit that can lead to its loss. One should not think that the value of BTC will eventually increase constantly, because the opposite may happen. One should not think that the value of BTC will eventually increase constantly, because the opposite may happen, since it is a cryptocurrency here, which means there are high risks.
1814  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on revenge trading? on: January 02, 2023, 01:58:18 PM
...Trading and gambling are quite similar in terms of risk but the only advantage of trading is that it is possible to know the cause of your mistakes and it is possible for it to be corrected but that is something that is hard to do in gambling since gambling works randomly.

If a person is a gambler, then no matter what he is doing, his nature will definitely take up regardless of whether he is trading or playing in a casino. In this case, he will open orders again and again, hoping that this time he will be lucky and he will return the lost money. But as a result, he will lose the entire deposit, as he will not be able to stop even after a profit deal.
1815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with new projects that introduce new Stable coins on: January 02, 2023, 10:53:52 AM
...Centralised or Decentralised you can just make a pick from USDC , USDT, DAI or BUSD

The security of stablecoins is determined by our trust in the issuer and is based on value judgments. Therefore, your trust in the stablecoin may be erroneous and you should use the time-tested fiat dollar to save your money. Do not store your savings in stablecoins, convert them into fiat.
1816  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tutored or you learned how to trade? on: January 02, 2023, 10:13:08 AM
...For now, I have taken a break from it, pending when I get a real live tutor and has a good track record.

Only after some time, we begin to understand that it is easier to pay money for training than to comprehend the basics of trading on our own. In addition, this allows us to limit losses, since training usually costs less money than what we lose as a result of unprofitable trading.
1817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's behind Donald Trump's issuing NFTs ? on: January 01, 2023, 06:14:40 PM
There might still be someone who are taking risk buying this kind of NFT and follow the hype, personally I don’t see any value here and with Trump, I guess its just a hype and too risky to deal with...

It is obvious that many consider Trump to be narcissistic and, accordingly, count on the fact that he will be able to fix the situation with his billions by buying his own NFT, preventing them from depreciating. Otherwise, it will be a strong blow to his ego.
1818  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on revenge trading? on: January 01, 2023, 04:58:45 PM
Of recent, I've come across alot of people talking about traders chasing their losses which at the end, leads to possible blowing of accounts...

If your order is liquidated by the exchange, then you probably do not adhere to risk management. And if the price moves in the opposite direction to your expectations, you need to fix the loss, and not wait for your deposit to be liquidated. At the same time, the trader should not have any emotions when trading, otherwise he will react incorrectly to the changes taking place in the market.

What's the point of a bumps thread if you don't answer the questions that forum members ask you? In addition, such actions are a violation of the rules of the forum, which can lead to a ban. So according to paragraphs 13 and 21 of the rules, "Bumps, "updates" are limited to once per 24 hours per thread" while "old bumps should be deleted" - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0
1820  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hello Im trader i do binance futures trading see what i can Do here on: January 01, 2023, 12:20:03 PM
It would be spectacular if Op could give the signal plus his analysis, because that way we can help each other so that things are much better, don't you think? ..

No, I don't think so. OP actually never guessed the direction of the market movement and all his trading signals ended with a stop loss. Therefore, one should not expect an adequate analysis from him, since he does not have it. As for OP, he has not visited the forum for a long time, it is possible that he has opened another account, since he has already compromised the previous one with his trading signals.
