This is just my opinion, but I don't think AM needs or wants widespread investor awareness. The general public isn't aware of BTC, much less a foreign company mining and selling BTC mining hardware. Presuming Joe investor gets over those concepts, they then get to learn that purchasing shares amounts to using an "entertainment website" with pass-through shares and that "real" shares are maintained by a guy in China with spreadsheet. I really think that this is too much to expect.

I wasn't saying it to advertise shares, it's to advertise their hardware.  The same thing about a sales site.  Advertising their stocks has no benefit to them, but selling more hardware does.

- Investors should use pass-through shares whenever they think they might hold the shares for less than 90 days or for transactions fewer than 10-20 shares. There are over 100 owners with shares in the single digits and I imagine that this creates extra administrative overhead for AM.
I completely disagree with this.  If it is too much work, then they need to get a better system.  Why should shareholders be inconvenienced because AM has failed to put proper systems in place?  I've seen a number of people offer to help, code or do whatever to get some sort of share system in place, but AM has refused.  They are choosing the current system, not us.

I think ASICMiner's plan to focus on wholesale is better than selling directly to consumers.

official channels are being achived as we speak...uplist to real stock exchange is in the cards imo..thanks

The author of that listing is a respected member of the community.  Definitely not a fake listing.  If you doubt it, buy it and if you don't get the money, I will personally give you $20. Cheesy

ya mine are still drying out lol...someone bid if this is for real!..thanks >> http://www.worldcoincentral.com/auction_details.php?auction_id=100154

That one, I would use escrow on.  lol  I am willing to escrow if you need someone.

i'm thinking that as BTC is crashing BTC pours into BTCT type plays just to try to save ones ass...or buy drugs off the road maybe more profit but dangerous market ..lol

do you guys still offer naked shorting to inside players?..thanks
PM me again

eh, sure.

All you have to do is deposit 10k BTC and transfer it to "burnside" on the exchange.

Then I'll consider programming in support for shorting.   Grin

I find it quite hilarious that people need to resort to "ignore" because they can't refute the maths and can't bear hearing the truth. This is an ASICMINER speculation thread. Just because I'm speculating that share prices will go down and providing mathematical evidence to support my reasoning, that does not make me a troll, it makes me an active participant.

no i want anyone to prove these shares even exist in realtime now ..thanks

Huh?

both of these are simulations not real shares if anything ...insiders happily posting and dumping shares...one day you cant log on then what?..CHEERS

Did the hashrate drop to 10 TH?
The 24-hour hash rate estimate dropped to around 11.5 TH: http://runeks.dk/bitcoin/

But that's just an estimate, only ASICMiner knows the answer.

Here's a 24 hour chart in 4 hour increments:

http://www.dpcapital.net/blockchain/?hours=4,8,12,16,20,24

there is no date or time there where is this info coming from that is not a open public site..thanks

It comes from the same place everyone else uses.. Blockchain's JSON API.

Their API only gives 36 hours of data. I just poll it every minute and store the information so that you can go back for as long as you want (starting at about 11 days ago.)

Here's one for the past 11 days:

http://www.dpcapital.net/blockchain/?hours=24,48,72,96,120,144,168,192,216,240

how comes the hashrate is going down on the chart while it says blocks being found is increasing?..thanks

Hashrate is the product of blocks found, the timeframe in which they were found, and the current network difficulty.

For example, if I found 2 blocks in 1 hour, I'd be mining at an estimated ~45 th/s. If I found 2 blocks in 2 hours, I'd be mining at 22.5 th/s (half of the 1 hour rate.)

Hope this makes sense.. ASICMINER does not publish their hashrate, so we must infer the hashrate from the data we have available.

Ian

the only info  i see is for BitGuild so ...hmmm

ok, so, shares are around 3.4 right now, and USB miners are for sale, but I don't think we'll actually get any revenue for that this week.

Any bets on dividends for this week?  I'm gonna guess maybe .017.  Will a lower dividend this week cause I sell off, or have the newbies learned their lesson after the major raping they got last week?

Hash rate went up, so I am guessing around .02. Doesn't sound like any hardware sales will be on this weeks div.

do you have a link to this info?..thanks

http://www.asicminercharts.com/

As for the hardware sales, that is just my speculation. Who knows, maybe they did already sell USB sticks to those distributors.

no ASICMINER is no longer mining there..that number refers to the BitGuild pool based here in California.. isnt them just go ask BitGuild listed at the bottom of the page..thanks

This says PPCOIN when loading and has a diff loading screen and icon, look you friggin developers, start thinking outside the box...

Another copy coin with no new coding.. honestly.. here's how i know you are not original.

It says PPCOIN when you install, the wallet looks same as every other wallet. (should be embarrassed right there)
and again all wallets are named "wallet.dat" i mean come on, how hard is it to rename the wallet file.

Just cause you cut and paste some gem pictures doesn't make it cool.  you are not a developer so stop thinking you are.

A real new coin will have new wallet name and location, a new wallet design, ease of useability, protection from sending to non wallet addresses, tool-tips, a link in help menu to a website with help or instructions LIKE A REAL PROGRAM!!! - things like this..quit jerkin us around with another copy coin.  I have 36 wallets now all named wallet.dat!!! WTF is wrong with you people.. ?? I mean how embarrassing..

(if i knew code better i could shame most of you with just basic logic ideas)

Ya, probably wrong place to rant but its what happens when you say you are cool, new, fresh, and you obviously are not.

looks toxic even tho i like the name.. ppcoin clone lazy developers cant even spell  ..thanks

this lack of productivity has caused:

http://www.asicminercharts.com/live/

to produce errors as well:

------------
Estimated hashrate distribution

Data column(s) for axis #0 cannot be of type string×
------------

FYI that isn't ASICMINERS hashrate it's BitGuilds hashrate...ASICMINER dioes not mine there no more ..thanks
