Firstly this is good that you first order the things in your address and then ship them to the buyer.
I would be interested in a macbook pro, but before dealing the price (your offer)
Then maybe i will add an SSD, any external HDD but first needs the price, Grade of interest:2

Sure. If we get many answers, it would be easier to for us to compile an order-list if you used, though:

Code:
Item(s):
Grade of interest:

Q&A

- So warranty and all that?
Of course. The warranty is held by the owner of the product. To RMA a product you will need to contact the manufacturer.

- Shipping to the UK?
Of course.

- Where are you shipping from?
Denmark

- Shipping included means anywhere in the world or US only?
Some places are really expensive to ship to, so we intentionally restrict the text and price examples to Europe and the US. However, if you find an shipping alternative that is reasonable we will ship. It'd also be possible to make a deal on the shipping where we share costs.

- Do you order these things directly to the buyers address or you first receive to your address then ship to the buyers address?
The latter - but we have 1 day delivery time on items in stock on contract. Your bitcoins will be held by escrow max two extra days than if we could ship directly. We will not open the box, just change address.

And, please do not PM me at this phase. We only need to know how many have an general interest in this sort of deals and items. In the next phase, when we know the interest, specifications of items will be posted and you will be able to say yes or no to the offer.

Thanks!

Hey,

I'd like to know what interest there is to buy brand new HDDs/laptops/GPUs in the community? Through a really big procurement that I'm directing IRL, I'd be able to offer decent discounts on those products. On the negative side is that I can only handle a few different models, although many of each one.

As an example:

WD Green WD60EZRX 6TB IntelliPower 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Standard price is $279 but newegg have them on discount for $222.

Seagate Desktop SSHD ST4000DX001 4TB 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Solid State Hybrid Drive Bare Drive Standard price is $279 but newegg have them on discount for $229.

I'd be able to sell them for approx. $170 (EU) and $185 (US) incl. shipping.

These are examples to give you idea of what discount I'd offer. Would anyone be interested in buying with these kind of discounts...?

Please answer in following format:

Code:
Item:
Grade of interest:
Number of items:

Use 1 to 3 grading, where 3 means you would definitely buy, 2 probably buy, 1 possible buy.

Item refers to the three categories that we atm can offer: Large HDDs (including SSDs greater than 200GB), quality laptops (Apple & Asus/HP) and powerful GPUs (nVidia 970-980ti & the newest AMDs). Hopefully this gives you an idea of what quality products will be offered if there is an interested.

Edit:

I understand that this is an unorthodox way of doing biz. So let me briefly explain the process in an easy way. Lets divide the process into three phases.

This thread is currently in the 1st phase with it's probing question; We simply want to know [WTN] the interest in the community to make these kind of deals with these kind of discounts. Why is that? Well, I can, of course, order 50 MacBook Air in theory, but in reality I need to know that most of them will have a buyer. Phase 1 will be open for a few days. Let me emphasize that we can handle many costumers and even bulk orders without risking anything. Wink

After this, we will enter phase 2 which will contain actual offers. We will contact everyone of you who have indicated interest; We'll do our best to offer you a product you are happy with along a considerable discount. However, in Phase 2 there is no commitments: You can accept or refuse our offer (there is also some room for negotiation).

Would you accept our offer, we enter phase 3. This means commitment from both parties: Customer sends payment to escrow, we will make the shipment, and at arrival happiness will spread all over the forum. Smiley The escrow will be released to us.

Please answer in the thread in the format offered, do not PM me until an actual order/selling thread will be posted.
[/color]

Lastly:
- payment would be in bitcoin
- larger shipments are more interesting than small, but everyone will be attended,
- buyer pay possible duty/tax
- escrow is a necessity
- minimum order will be around 1BTC or $250
- for shipping, we will use a world-renowned express delivery company
- escrow service provided by master-P and [not decided yet]
- Questions are answered and updated here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1207997.msg12685751#msg12685751

Thanks for your attention.  Smiley

kool ...

that answered my question ...

where are you located? ... would you accept btc instead of fiat? ... where would you be able to deliver to? ...

im located in australia ... and when i order - it will be in quantity also ... might be small amounts at first then larger amounts - but there is always something that i require Smiley ...

for the time being its cpus and ram and ssd drives im after - with the possibility of psu's if they are australian compliant ...

#crysx

Most of your questions are answered in OP. I'm in Europe (EU). Shipping outside EU will be more expensive, hence the different prices in the example. I missed to make clear, however, that SSDs are included in the offer if they are greater in size than 200GB. Other items than those mentioned in OP might be available further on, but at the moment it is restricted to HDDs, GPUs and laptops.
47  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTN] Interest to buy brand new HDDs/laptops/GPUs with discount on: October 14, 2015, 03:42:31 AM
i think the best thing to do is place a listing of the products that you DO have - instead of what MIGHT be available with what the community is interested in ...

list what you have - and the community will be able to decide whether it is worth purchasing ...

#crysx

Then his post would consist of nothing, his current stock is 0.

He's saying he's about to place a large bulk order for work and in doing so getting a pretty good discount. As part of that he's offering to pile on a few extra items for community members here to bandwagon onto his bulk discount saving us money and he gets to pay back his work and pocket a little extra himself.

'The negative side is that I can only handle a few different model (those my employer chose to buy), although many of each one.'

this is what im talking about ...

what he is saying is that his EMPLOYER is the decision maker AND that his EMPLOYER already has in mind what they are willing to bulk purchase ...

this means regardless of what we suggest - it will be the EMPLOYER that will have the list of products they choose to stock ...

hence - we need to know what they are ...

its a good thing for the public - and his own pocket - but we need to have an idea of WHAT they are stocking ... not what we would LIKE them to stock ...

#crysx

"we need to know what they are ...", yeah, of course it would be better to offer a list of products, and I might be able to that - and even more ("give me a list of products on newegg and I'll check if I can get it all and to what discount")...

However, at the moment, all I know I'm getting great prices on the latest HDDs, GPUs and laptops. By the present thread I hopefully will get an idea of the interest. If two members want a couple of HDDs, I wont pursue with this as I will make more or less nothing on it. Would the interest be high, I can go to the next step and offer an order list. I can't buy 50 new MacBook Air and just hope they get sold.

Also, I probably used the term "employer" in the wrong way. It's me who choses which items will be ordered and how many, not my employer. I have been given a budget, but I'm the sole decision maker on what is required to buy - and given the discounts I was able to get, I simply can buy more than needed without notice.

My employer is a very passive one, hence the beginning of this answer: It might get even better than what I can promise today if interest is evident.

So far no one has shown an interest to get new stuff with the discount I can offer, though, and then that's fine. However, now we have a discussion of how this thread was formulated, perhaps making interested members confused. I urge you to stop that. What I at the moment want an answer of is:

Item:
Grade of interest:
Number of items:

Item refers to large HDDs (Seagate & WB), laptops (Apple & Asus/HP) and GPUs (nVidia 970-980ti & the newest AMDs). Please, use 1 to 3 grading, where 3 means you would definitely buy, 2 probably buy, 1 possible buy.

Thanks Smiley

I take two HDDs as examples of what percentage the discount would offer on an item.

I'd be able to sell these for approx. $170 (EU) and $185 (US) incl. shipping.

More importantly for you, I will be able to offer GPUs (nVidia 970-980ti & the newest AMDs) with the similar discount.
