101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN : Oppotunity Or Challenge? on: February 25, 2018, 02:16:36 PM
For me going into bitcoin is an opportunity but it comes with a huge challenge, so you better like what will you do not just for the monetary reward but for your own personal fulfillment. I could suggest to you that you can start to invest low and while you earn put your earning back to your investment until it will grow, then after the income circulation is good enough that is the time you could harvest what you have invested. Try checking out Moonlite, the are looking for investors like you which promise a good return in the future due to their unique mining technology that is environmental friendly too.

First of all you need to read a lot more, it is good that you begin by asking question rather than going to the forest alone without a warning and necessary preparation. Both of the two is good, and if you chooses to go into mining there is a huge chance that you will need to trade your mined crypto later. As of the moment I could recommend go into trading at first because mining could be different in the next few months or year due to the Cobra effect.

104  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is better Trade or Invest? on: February 23, 2018, 04:30:27 PM
It depends on how limited your budget is. There could be losses in trading and investing in ICO, but if you have time like almost three hours in a day, you better go with trading. You can manually trader at first and use some technology when funds grows. In terms of investing, those are medium to long term goal, that is suited if you have no time or an hour in a week to check your invested money. But investing in ICO could be more profitable if the coin suddenly skyrocket in a thousand times your original price. Anyway, if you have plan to invest in ICO, try Moonlight a environmental friendly mining design to make more profit and help mother nature.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: February 23, 2018, 01:57:51 PM
How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur?
Who exactly knew this? No one, there are several expert that says bitcoin will die but ask them an exact date or even month, they couldn't answer. Because the reality, crypto wont end.

Value decrease?
Every day the value of bitcoin and other crypto decreases and increases, the last dip that happen at almost 6k will not happen again. Y? because people buying power will increase while the price decrease, and when there are more buyers, there are reasons price would go down.

Legality issues?
Last Senators meeting at the US, legality becomes positive. As other countries impose band and restriction, I bet US won't do it, but rather than improve existing laws.

Different technology/ideas to supersede it?
There are so many technology invented after bitcoin, there are coins that have faster transaction time, suited for smart contracts, but at the end bitcoin is the number one in price, traded volume and to the masses.
106  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long term vs. short term investing on: February 23, 2018, 11:38:18 AM
There are a lot of people asking the same question, I even my self ask it a couple of times years ago but the answer stills hunts me. For a day trader, it could be more profitable if the market is very volatile, like a swing of more than ten percent in a day. But if the market is stable enough day trader won't earn much higher than a long term trader. A long term trader on the other hand, could be more profitable especially if they are holding a huge amount of coins if the price is gradually increasing. I prefer to do both, day trading if I have extra time and long term trading if pretty busy.

109  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is the price of bitcoin rising so high? on: February 19, 2018, 11:36:54 PM
Bitcoin price rising so high it's because the demand of bitcoin is increasing, we all know that the community of bitcoin is growing too fast and too big that's the main reason why bitcoin price is rising or rising so high. We all know that when the demand increases the amount of it will also increase and especially in cryptocurrency. The second reason why bitcoin price is growing is that of some influential person, or giant company that will speak about bitcoin or another cryptocurrency that they will accept it as a payment, etc.
110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin used by criminals ? on: February 19, 2018, 06:33:05 PM
Yeah you're right, the problem is not the bitcoin itself, the problem is they see and use bitcoin as a tool to create those crime, scams and other illegal activities. But unlike the internet which start to have a positive side and lately being used in illegal acts, bitcoin on the other hand, become famous due to technological advancement and utilization in illegal works then good points just follow. I read news that hackers uses bitcoin as a payment to give back a hacked data in hospitals, movie industries and the like.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what are the benefits of bitcoin? on: February 19, 2018, 05:43:34 PM
The most important benefit of bitcoin to me is that bitcoin revenue powers my internet connection at home. Yes bitcoin transaction and jobs add to the utilities fee but it's revenue cover all those up. Another benefit is the instant payment in a low transaction fee. Sending fiat across the globe cost a lot more than sending a bitcoin and convert it to local money. And lastly, bitcoin give me an extra revenue.
112  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holding will be a risk or not?? on: February 19, 2018, 05:27:16 PM
You question seems interchanging, I don't know if you are planning to buy bitcoins or you have already bitcoins and just asking to hold it until the price goes high above 17k. But I tell you this, you should buy today if you don't have enough or you are planning to buy bitcoins because the price as of today is clearly signalizing a continuous increase day by day. But if you are planning to sell, I would recommend to hold it for a while and wait for a new all time high.
113  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin loses its popularity ? on: February 19, 2018, 05:10:35 PM
Bitcoin is still the most popular crypto around there, based on the price in the market, based on the volume traded in the market and even based on the news and company that start to support crypto. Bitcoin can't be overtrown by any other crypto just because their transaction time is fast, their price is relative low or even the mining is much easier than other. Bitcoin is the king and no one can defeat it.
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin end? on: February 17, 2018, 04:54:54 PM
At the time of this posting the bitcoin is still breathing and actually recovering from the previous dip. You should have buy during the dip so that your investment could gain more traction during the following raise. Its been almost seven years and bitcoin is still up and running, gaining more price increment than loosing. And I think someday there will no bitcoin price below 100k, and it wont end but could been replace nor steal its position as the king of crypto.
115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we survive without Bitcoin? on: February 17, 2018, 04:33:17 PM
Human race could survive without bitcoin, its long been tested, but the financial status of people who are engaged in bitcoin won't. In mu opinion bitcoin is the measurement of almost all crypto, you can even notice that when bitcoin price drops the other crypto follows. That denotes that if bitcoin fall other could follow the fall. And by that there will be again a panic selling that will make the price sink fast, in an instant you could lost your money. Luckily that will never happen...
116  Other / Off-topic / Re: All CryptoCurrencies are scam? on: February 17, 2018, 03:34:45 PM
Well if your telling a yes then you better get out soon, there could be more members or almost all of the members of this forum will hunt and oppose to your opinion because they or we believe that bitcoin is not scam. The scammers are the people who use crypto to gain money in support to their future product or services but ending up broke or unsuccessful. Bitcoins is just the way how you invested in just  like dollar, one can be get scammed using dollars but the dollar itself is not scam.
117  Other / Off-topic / Re: How you keep safe BITCOIN? on: February 17, 2018, 01:08:53 PM
The people choice in this part is Trezor, a secure and easy way, but most of the trezor user have a huge amount of bitcoin on hand im sure. The price of that hardware wallet could be relatively high for new bitcoin holder with less than one coin on hand. But another way of securing is using your own computer, there are secure application wherein you could transfer your online wallet thru this offline wallet. It could be offline once you have transfer and disconnect it from the internet but if you will use that computer for surfing the net the security could be compromise.
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to eliminate unemployment. on: February 17, 2018, 12:36:48 PM
In deed unemployment is a hundred years problem and couldn't be solve. Some says there are a bunch of jobs that are always open to the people but the increasing requirements and  tedious process makes them knock out on the process, ending up unemployed. Bitcoin on the other hand did not require age limit, body build and even high IQ to gain revenue. Stories have been told that there are even a small amount of investment have been placed and make it millions thru time.
119  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: February 17, 2018, 12:20:22 PM
This post seems so old but I have the urge to post in here anyway. For me bitcoin become the most popular because it pioneer the crypto currency. Writings have said that there are bunch of attempt to do the kind of currency and with the success of bitcoin it become the most prominent and widely used. Up until today there are hundred or maybe thousands of coins out there but still bitcoin is on the top of the pyramid. Bitcoin price,  traded volume and popularity makes it stay on the top.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trading - Is it just me or happens to everyone? on: February 16, 2018, 09:18:40 AM
You are cursed! lol, I think that is normal, one can't even know when do the price could go up and could go down. Ten days of holding seems not working, I am not a good trader though but I think you should avoid setting a specific day for holding, you could even start to buy and sell in the same day or just after 24 hours that is what day traders do. But if you want for the long term i think some hold it for more than ten days. If you will plan to create a site about trading you should first check other website about or you just create a blog about your trading experience.
