41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XBY] XtraBYtes Speculation on: May 01, 2018, 09:14:49 PM
I invested in this coin in early 2018 and now it has brought me losses. I'm sad. The project does not develop and I think that I lost my money.

You actually did. This project has been called out by independent developers numerous times as an unicorn project.. They are trying to achieve something that makes no sense at all. The best Dapps platform is EOS.. with which they cannot compete. Nothing else to say.

Of course it sounds interesting, the question is if they will be able to deliver a good working and competitive product. By now there are already several blockchain based distributed hosting services. Competition is big.

Competition is big, but not from the decentralised space, internxt competes in a different league. I have explained it in more detail in the first post in this thread as to why they are no competition for internxt. Internxt aims to take decetralised technology and apply it to the masses, competing with the biggest centralised solutions in the industry.

To date, there are already many projects that offer cloud storage on blockchain. Among them stands out the project Sia (SC). In favor of the project says that appeared in 2015, until this year the team has devoted to the development of the project and now having a finished product came to rebranding and promotion to the masses. The project has ambitious goals and is ready to compete with the giants in the face of Amazon, Google. The basis of everything, of course, security and competitive price for data storage. By the way, the storage can provide anyone, allocating part of the free space on your hard drive. I hardly believe in such projects as the one you offer in your post. But this is my opinion and healthy competition never hurts, but on the contrary moves progress.

In my opinion, it cannot compete with Amazon or Google. The main reason for it is that they dont accept fiat money, so they lose a big audience there. Its like a supermarket opening up in britain and requiring costumers to pay in rupees instead of pounds. Nobody will go there. If they want to apply to the everyday user in order to compete with google and amazon, they must accept their method of payment.

To give forecasts now is a very ungrateful business, you can not know all the undercurrents, but without these calculations it is almost impossible to say for sure whether growth will or will fall. There will be a big brother watching us or there will be an opportunity to exist in the shade. Now it is very difficult and I would even say a turning point.

I dont see why making forecasts in the crypto market is a bad thing.. This is how investors make decisions about what they buy and sell. Forecasts are necessary and the earlier they are made the better. Again, as I said in my first post, "I am not a financial advisor nor am I a crypto guru". Everyone should make their own forecasts.

The market outlook is as big as you say, but no one is really betting on projects that don't work. I hope to see more progress in the project.

It depends on what you mean by dont work.. If you mean that it doesnt have a working product yet, you must be cautious but its really the best time to bet on a project.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / IS THIS THE NEXT x100? on: April 11, 2018, 02:18:07 PM
Is Quantstamp gonna be the next big thing? Tech-wise it is very possible. What do you guys think?
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🚀🚀🚀 Is this the next huge gainer?🚀🚀🚀 on: April 09, 2018, 06:16:17 AM
Good review, but you have to take into account whole market, eg. when we are all in the bear market it will be tough for anyone to be a huge gainer, first we will need to wait for bitcoin to make his run, and than all the profits from that will be transfered to altcoins and then we will see their run

Well obviously, we must reach the end of the bear market to see gains. But consider this.. Fiat payments will give us a big independance from bitcoins price volatility, bringing fiat money directly from fiat to INXT. This was we will have a very stable price and as demand grows we will have a very stable rise of the price through buy orders from the platform itself. Fiat investors dont get bearish through bitcoins price collapses.

Also, I strongly believe that bitcoin will return to the bull runs very very soon.

I am also hearing about this for the first time. Will do some research about it on other internet forums  and websites and share some information soon. Would you mind sharing the demerits also ?

Well, I had some demerits back when I first invested, but since the many things have improved. One was that they had no marketer back then, they hired one like a month ago. They had no code, they released their code and their alpha and they are regularly updating it. They a poor roadmap back then, they have updated it and are very much on schedule on it. Their whitepaper was digging into the technical explaination, they have updated it also with all the technical details.

So to be honest, I dont have any demerits as of now apart from the low supply that equals to a volatile price, which makes it extremely important to invest at these low prices. But even that will even out as more people get involved and inxt tokens distribution evens out as time passes. Also it hasn't been listed to big exchanges yet that to me is not a bad thing but to some is, but it might actually be a good thing for new investors, cause the price hasn't mooned yet. But this also has been somewhat addressed as the CEO states that they expect to be listed on all major exchanges by the end of the year.

That is a nice and extensive review. After reading, it might do some additional research myself. It definitively looks like an interesting project. Thanks again!

No problem, I suggest you take a look at their whitepaper, they explain things a lot better than I do.

Hmm I'm just seeing this for the first time here. Did they conduct an ICO or airdrop? The idea looks good but hope they can stand the test of time

Yea, they had an ICO back in the end of September.

Looks like you're hyping some coin. I guess you know anything about this project. Maybe they need to market their project, Had they done ICO before? how much money they raised?

They ran an ico back in september, which wasnt very succesful (200K raised), so the ceo put in his own money from his web hosting company he sold for 600k$ to fund the current project.

interntx good price because low suply
but is not good coin low volume transction and not accepted in big exchanger
only coinexchange and yobit is good exchanger accepted internxt

It's not that its not accepted in big exchanges.. Every coin is accepted if you wave the money on their face. The problem is that exchanges like binance demand millions from projects in order to consider them to be added. Binance was 1 million last time I checked. Also volume comes through demand.. and the demand will come once the beta and final release are out. You wont want to join at that time, the price will have already mooned.

Hi mods,

recently my account got banned, without a message or warning or anything else. Out of the blue.
I thought this was a mistake and sent and email to the address in the message I received.
There was no answer or any explanation and so I sent another email and again no response.

There is absolutely nothing that I was doing wrong, I am not even doing signature campaigns.

Please check the profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=508378

Thanks for looking into this.

Looks like your accounts email was changed recently. To me, this is an indication of an account theft attempt or this account was sold to you. In this case, an email is sent to the seller/victim notifying him that him email was changed. That email contains a link for him to lock the account. So the guy who sold you the account locked it afterwards and will now attempt to regain access to it.

As hilarious said on another thread:

I don't know. He doesn't reply to me either. He didn't even reply when I asked if he's still restoring accounts.

Really, all you can do right now is waiting because I think their inbox is being flooded with hundreds -if not thousands- of PMs.

But its mad, aint it? Cause if I just wait, nothing will happen because my message will be buried under all those pm's they get. Which will mean that they wont even see it.
