Ethereum is still one of the best altcoins on the market, so when market will recover eth might have one of the most important increase of the price, so don't desperate.

This is just a false conspiracy theory that every child can affirm with no arguments to sustain it, no offense. Do you have any evidence or this is just your assumption?

If you passed the KYC on Hitbtc, you should not worry too much. It should be enough just to send an e-mail to Hitbtc explaining the situation and send a proof of your identity. Good luck!

I think that sooner or later most of the exchanges will become centralized, as KYC will be more and more present. Only a few exchanges do not require today KYC, bit honestly, I wouldn't keep important funds on them due to security issues they might face.

Nobody knows for sure when the price will recover, but definitely we can discuss about game over for bitcoin only when Internet will disappear. Till then ... long live btc!

Portfolio of altcoins should not exceed 50% imo. You should always have at minimum 50% of your crypto portfolio in bitcoin.
There are many newer projects that are actually going to do something with blockchain tech that hasn't been done and will help build the infrastructure for the entire ecosystem. You just need to pick them up wisely.

Indeed, at least you cannot get rich overnight as in late 2017. I honestly divide this to three categories: Blockchain, Bitcoin and the rest.
Blockchain? Definitely promising. Bitcoin? Will last forever (not necessarily successful, but existed for the darknet or private ppl) The rest? so far bunch of crap, but who knows? Not in this decade IMO.

Crypto (Bitcoin and good alts) is not a ponzi scheme. Even if price dropped the entire 2018, I continue to hold my crypto, no matter what.
If lose is the answer, then let it be. I still believe crypto is the future.
But we cant guarantee witch coin is the next big thing/facebook/google etc

Bitcoin is not dead and will not die as long as Internet will exist. It's all about market's s feeling to decide if price will go up or down.
If everyone thinks blockchain will solve all of the world's problems and are enthusiastic about it as a whole, be prepared to sell. If the mainstream media is bombing us daily with stories about the collapse of cryptocurrency and why Bitcoin is going to zero - be prepared to buy.

Trends in crypto are very hard to predict. If it were so easy, everyone would be awash in cryptocurrency, there is no 100% accuracy onprediction. Not only crypto, same goes for stocks.
IMO most of the time it's a gamble. Haven't seen one person who is consistent making green numbers on that, you win some you loose some

As a general rule, I prefer to keep my crypto ~75-80% in Bitcoin and 20-25% in Altcoins.
The percentage is variable according to the market's trend. When market is bullish, some alts can grow much faster than Btc. However, when market is red it's highly recommended to remain more on Btc and/or stable coins/fiat.

In 2019 crypto has changed a lot since late 2017 when people made money quite easily.
Overall market capital decreased a lot and only the best projects will survive. You need to have more knowledge about crypto, and do a lot of research before investing your money, otherwise you risk to see most of your funds lost.

What you say is true only if people invest more than they afford to lose. And this applies for any investment, not only crypto.
If you invest decent amounts reported to your income, there is no reason to take bad decisions when trend is not the one you expect. Patience is the key.

It depends on which exchange you'll keep your ETH. When that time will come, exchanges will announce if they support the PoS or not. Most of them will support it, otherwise they will lose a lot of clients. ETH PoS can be similar with NEO and GAS, where if you have NEO on Exchange, you get GAS on exchange as well.

I prefer to keep my cryto in propotion 80% Bitcoin, 20% altcoins.
Proportion can change as per market's trend. During bullish periods alts might go up to 30% and even less than 20% during long bearish periods as 2018 was.

Nobody knows when the bottom of the dip is. So how to open a loan if the price might continue to decrease and find yourself in the position of nit being able to pay back your loan?
You need to invest in crypto ONLY the money you can afford to risk and lose, nothing more.

I saw a lot of people thinking this is the way Cryptopia will exit as a scam. It could be an exit scam event but more likely they did get hacked as was only about 2Mil stolen. If they were going to exit scam im sure they would have stolen be alot more.

Due to the negative reputation most of ICO-based projects got in 2018, I think we nust be more restrictive and responsible when it comes to invest in a new project.
If you're interested in a good project, with a high potential and great team behind, you can have a look at Mycro Jobs project. (details in my signature)

These pumps and dumps are normal in such a volatile market as crypto. Don't forget that after ETH fork it will not result any new token to be received, so there is no real reason for ETH to raise significantly these days.
I think many people did not understand what the ETH fork is about and expect to receive new tokens.

Hackers become smarter every day and their stealing methods more complex. If you want to sleep well knowing your funds are totally safe just buy a hardware wallet and you'll eliminate the risk of being hacked.
