1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin. Time is running out on: January 30, 2018, 01:07:25 PM
Bitcoin. Time is running out.

I'm all with you that bitcoins time is running out. And I do think that Ethereum will become king soon too BUT Ripple and Stellar? WTF? ^^
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies to crypto cut that negative shit out about Bitcoin. on: January 26, 2018, 09:36:59 PM
I'm new here.  I wasn't happy to read threads yesterday saying Bitcoin will rise massively and then it didn't at all.    Because if people keep saying that and it doesn't happen people are bound to feel a bit let down by it all.    I'm sorry if this is too negative.
Most likely those "price will explode tomorrow" thead starters lost a god chunk of money and now try to convince new people to buy more btc so the price will go up again so they can get rid of their btc without too much butthurt. BUT threads like this have zero impact on the trading market because the market is much to big these days. ^^
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are you agree that 25-01 are important day for btc and wil recovering? on: January 26, 2018, 07:18:56 PM
I understand that some prefer to buy very cheaply. but I can tell you that I am in the crypto for years now. believe me btc really does not go to 8k. 25-01 is an important day. look at history. I keep an eye on all krw jpy channels. something beautiful is going to happen this day. this is a personal anylise on the basis of multiple research.

f you look very carefully, you wil see  recovery slowly arrive. this will continue pumping tomorrow and go to  14k +

Tomorrow will change nothing because the main problem of bitcoin does not change (BTC unusable for anything but trading thanks to the fees). That's why I'm happy that I went completely out of this coin weeks ago. Bitcoin is already doomed while we speak (so are almost all the current crypto currencies).

Believe me tommorow wil change a lot.

I'm not saying this just so as noting. I'm seeing a hard rise coming.

Be smart and dont think btc wil go to 8k as manny think.
btc recovery start from here.
Well, seems like I was right, huh? Your 01.25.2018 changed nothing, in fact the price is even lower right now. ^^
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies to crypto cut that negative shit out about Bitcoin. on: January 26, 2018, 07:09:57 PM
Many of those newbies are alt accounts of people with interest of creating FUD about bitcoin. As far as we know it can be alt accounts from people who have shortned bitcoin Grin The futures contract end today at 5pm, lets see how the market reacts, hopefully good!

That's an interesting theory to say the least. We'll see what happens.

I think Alts on Bitcointalk will have a marginal impact on BTC, I can't see it being a huge driver of influence. There are a lot of newcomers slamming Bitcoin because they parted with fiat to get into some ponzi like BitConnect. I would say Bitconnect had a huge impact on the market.

Altcoins are coming through steadily..
That is true. The handful of people on Bitcointalk do have a marginal impact on BTC if they have one at all. But apart from the newbies that were fooled by some ponzi like BitConnect there are old traders like me too that think that BTC is beyond it's prime because of the fees. Right now you can do NOTHING with BTC but trading. That is truly REALY BAD for something that wants to be a currency. ^^ If you can't buy anything with BTC then the real value is ZERO! And the second people realize this is when BTC will go down hard. And yes, of course this will bring down all the other crypto currencies too. The thing is that this is not a problem it is the cure because the hype & the high price that followed the hype was nothing but a tulip bubble. The hype also leaded to the high fees (because they are bonded to the price) and the fees made BTC become useless. And as I said before a currency that is useless is without any real value. And anyone that isn't new to trading should remember the MW Medical Hype back in the early years of this century. It was exactly the same back then, every poor newbie and it's grandmother thought they could become rich in no time without any knowledge but this is not how trading works. It's so easy to burn billions  from sheeps that think they are wolves.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if Bitcoin just hold steady for months and months on: January 25, 2018, 11:37:32 AM
Bitcoin isn't moving very much just now.  Up a tiny bit and then down a tiny bit.  Would this be very boring for people.  This might not encourage more people to buy.  I think the only way people buy is if it's going up and down more.  Because then at least they will have half a chance of making a good profit.
Sorry but your posting is the perfect example for what is wrong with the bitcoin community. ^^ It was designed to be a currency and guess what the best currencies are "boring" as fuck. But 90% of the people that are in bitcoin now don't now shit about currencies, markets, rules and other stuff. They are stupid "OMG, I want to be rich tomorrow." fools The fun part is that these people are the ones that make the smarter people earn money. And right now every newbie is late to the party. I bought my bitcoins 4 years ago and I sold them 4 weeks ago. I made decent money over that 4 years but even that was a.) a very short period of time to earn that much money and b) it was way more than what I expected. But right now it is like almost everyone thinks he has to become rich in no time while the hype train already has left the station.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A thought about the Lightning Network: are we basically promoting an altcoin? on: January 24, 2018, 07:58:58 PM
We say that the Lightning Network will solve scalability issues.
The only thing that the Lightning Network will solve is the freedom.

Stripe canceled bitcoin (about 4 hours ago on heise)...... so yes tomorrow there will be a change. ^^
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are you agree that 25-01 are important day for btc and wil recovering? on: January 24, 2018, 12:48:39 PM

Let's see who's gonna kick their ass in a few years ahead, you or the hodlers Cheesy
Well, I bought mine almost 4 years ago and I sold them about 4 weeks ago. I think I can live with that even when the price will go up to lets say 50.000. Smiley
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: stupid millionaire or risk to be Billionaire ? on: January 24, 2018, 12:45:28 PM
I would hold them and I will. I don't have that many bitcoins but I think the price goes up so I'm making lot of profit with that I have. I would totally risk to be a billionare
May I ask why? Holding while the price is falling is almost as stupid as selling while the price is climbing!
Those people called believers confidently think the future price of bitcoin sooner or later would bounce back due the factor of bitcoin gonna be the most wanted thing to invest more than gold and considering time after time the supply of bitcoin to be mined getting harder, the market would have high price, as simple as like that.
The thing is even then it makes no sence. If they had sold all when the price started to drop  and would buy again when the price start to raise again then they would still make way more money than with holding.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to recognize scam on: January 24, 2018, 12:04:26 PM
Hello everyone!

Today I've read a couple of articles and I've noticed that the most people are used to label each ICO as a scam. That is not fair, I know.

Well it is perfectly fair because ICO = Ponzi.

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SOUTH KOREA NOT BANNING CRYPTO NOW - but want 24.2 percent tax? on: January 24, 2018, 11:46:08 AM
any truth to this?

seems okay or at least better than a ban?

Sounds like good news??

https://cointelegraph.com/news/s-korea-to-tax-crypto-exchanges-242-percent-in-line-with-existing-tax-policy
Bitcoin was designed for trading btc for items, it was designed as an alternative to fiat but now the majority of it's users do not even know how to use crypto currencies. In my opinion every country should take a solid 80% tax. That way all the fiat assholes would drive away from bitcoin, the price would go back to maybe 120$ and it would again become the beloved crypto currency it once was.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You can buy KFC chicken by Bitcoin on: January 24, 2018, 11:38:40 AM
This is nice. If a store as large as KFC will begin to accept bitcoin then it is a start.
NO IT IS NOT! Who that is not completely out of his mind would buy anything when the fee is 25$? Of course you can pay a lower fee but then you have to wait 3 or more days before they can deliver the food.

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fees are killing/have killed Bitcoin.... it is sad but true. on: January 23, 2018, 09:46:24 PM
I am sure that in the future the fee problem will be solved for btc cuz if it is not solved it obviously will harm btc more and more until some other coin takes it`s place.
I'm ready to be stoned for my next words but I'm pretty sure that the problem will be solved within the next 2-3 years because at this point >90% of all people have moved on to other coins (because you can't do shit with bitcoin anymore). I expect bitcoin to become finally stable at about 250$ in 2020 or 2021.  Wink

Is the lightning network going to be implemented at all? And if yes, then when and under what conditions?

You better hope NOT and this guy only scratches the surface of whats wrong with it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UYHFrf5ci_g

.......

Notice the abuse I get, don't shoot the postman
Sadly that is exactly the way I'm thinking about the lightning network. For me it's not a solution it's the final nail in the coffin. Sad

The sellers need to accept Dogecoin to buy food / drinks and micro transactions

1 cent fee
I really love doge and it's crazy community but for some strange reason not too many people seem to like doge. :/

18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Fees are killing/have killed Bitcoin.... it is sad but true. on: January 23, 2018, 07:59:39 PM
Only a few years ago we had a growing number of shops here in berlin that you were able to buy food and/or drinks from for bitcoin. Right now there are no more of these stores left. And most of the sellers I used to buy things from on the big marketplaces now refuse to trade bitcoin too and changed to etherium. I know for those people that think that bitcoin is the new gold it is not that bad but bitcoin was "released" to be something completely different. Right now bitcoin is no real crypto currency at all. Buy a coffee for 2,5 bucks and pay 25 bucks fee.... sure.......... In my opinion bitcoin completely failed because of these fees and I sold every last satoshi and invested in other crypto currencies. Is there a single reason to stick to bitcoin? If yes, please feel free to tell me!
