I'm a fan of litecoinpool Curious what everyone is mining with theirs? I have had it running litecoinpool stable for a long time. Recently tried to get lcdice lottery but can't get that thing to run stable at all. Tried verge and failed to get it stable. Currently running litecoinpool again. What are you running? Im looking for a more valuable option.

If batch 2 goes anything like batch 1 expect you will need to wait till the shops run out of stock before batch 3 shows up.
No incentive for the shop owners if a pre-sale starts before they sell out.

yeah, I wand a few of these as well.
Not getting on a high horse here, but do you thing an 8 chip pod miner will ROI in less than a year?

definitely interested in picking up a few of these.

Update your CPU.txt to have an entry for each core.

Anyone know if you can buy these unassembled? last time I bought one from asicpuppy, they came assembled. I actually would like to do the next few myself and the directions at the top of the thread are quite good imho.

yes, I looked around, but I could not find anything explaining this setting. Does anyone know what it is?
recommendations are for -cl-global-work=16834, seems like 16MB of "something"
I ask because my video card has 8MB ram, but I also have 64GB memory, so I think tuning this setting might help but I don't want to just do it blindly.

$65 from directly from sipolar in China and it just got delivered, I'm on the east coast. Seems like a great deal.

Anyone know what is up with asicpuppy site? Moonlander 2 are no longer listed?
Luckily I got in on the pre-order last week, but I would expect the site to say 0 available, not have the item completely missing from inventory. Maybe it is being updated?

has anyone figured out an optimal difficulty for the moonlander? try to double the worker difficulty pool side.. what i found is if its too low, the usb gets saturated somehow and it cant keep up..
If the 'default' difficulty comes up as (say) 62m, do I then specify ,d=62m or ,d=62 (in this case, to double, 128m or 128)?? I actually had the impression that the ASIC is using a constant low internal difficulty and the driver takes care of adjusting the results (submitting to) the pool difficulty. Hence the red lights flash equally rapid no matter what the pool difficulty is??? (earlier post by jstefanop). im not sure how to calculate scrypt worker diff, but its multiplied.. so 62m would be like d=4096 or something. that might actually be too high.. anyways yes the red lights flash on diff 1, which is internal.. only the yellow lights flash when a worker diff share is found. this is what's transmitted to the pool.

I'm curious as well. What about tuning bfgminer to get a higher hashrate? I would love to tune mine to run at cool 5k, I like round numbers Anyone get their Moonlander 2 miners to hash at 5Mhs plus? What was the max hash speed you can obtain with settings?
Mem Voltage = ? Core Voltage = ? Frequency =? Difficulty = ? Hardware Errors % = ?
I have been getting just over 5Mhs with the following, 5v @10amp supply and extra usb fan cooling pulling about 13.6 watts each total 68 watts on my Kill A Watt meter for 5 Moonlanders 2's.
Mem Voltage = approx 0.85v (trim pot R5) Core Voltage = approx 0.82v (trim pot R9) Frequency = 852 (in bat file) Difficulty = 1024 (in bat file) Hardware Errors <1%

I think you are correct on the cost effectiveness, however these are cheap. For a newb it is a way to dip your toe in, learn about mining. Possibly have a little faucet. Buying an L3+ for example, is a big endeavour. More cost effective for sure, but it really is a big ticket item. I think these will pay themselves off, and after I break even well, that is a bonus. Over time Litecoin will go up, and I think I can make some $$. I'm not depending on it though. I'm just shooting to break even and learn something in the process. What is the benefit of these things? In all seriousness, the larger ASICs are far more cost effective than these.

Will we be able to get "pre-order" price? Are there any US distributors that accept fiat? credit card, or paypal?
For use newbs, only taking cypto is a bit of a barrier. We need to mine some!
I want to buy 4 more from the pre-order, but I can't find anyone stateside to take my $$$!!!
Yea we realized most of Batch 2 customers are brand new to crypto, so trying to set up cash payments. Unfortunately most cash processors have strict limits on pre-orders, so can't really take cash until units are in distributor hands next month. Keep an out in a few weeks.

see if they each run ok alone. If so you probably are not supplying enough power, your hub may be suspect.
Make sure they both are tuned to run how you want them standalone so you can rule out issues with the moonlander itself.

Your current speed is 3.41Mh. 3,400k = 3.4M
If I recall correctly the 3.32 are averages, but I forget the time span for those values.
you also have 5 hardware errors for a rate of 0.2$ which is great.
You should modify the startup script to run it a bit faster. Read the docs on the moonlander on tuning. I can't see any reason to run it at less than 800 MHz.

I ordered a sipolar A-400. I think it will handle 10 moonlanders just fine. For now I have two running at ~4.7Mh on my laptop

I think it is like $8500 a day per moonlander, that is in USD of course less in Euro. whats the daily profit?
