1  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How can you become an important person in society? on: January 06, 2018, 10:31:20 AM
Give. Give of your self. Give to friends. Give to strangers. Give your expertise, your time, your advice, your money, your heart. Generosity breeds relationships.
Lead a community of people. Lead a cause. Organize others to act, to support brilliant movements. To help others.
Have an opinion. People listen to confidence. People like to be told what to do. They are searching for trusted sources. While you can never be a trusted source to everyone, meaning lots of folks will think you are wrong from time to time, you cannot influence anyone if you don't start with an opinion first. Say something and believe it. Say something new and people will listen even more.
2  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to get girls when you're not handsome? on: January 06, 2018, 10:23:13 AM
you can always impress a pretty girl by actually not trying to impress her.
you can just BE YOURSELF, and become more of what you are like.
The problem with most of us is we always seek validation from others for anything we do and when we don't get 'the approval', we end up imitating the famous people or the more liked ones in our circle for that matter. And that makes us look like a wannabe which is a put-off.
So try to be honest to yourself and do whatever you feel like is correct irrespective of social validations.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is making this world a better place? on: January 04, 2018, 08:25:58 AM
Bitcoin offers the world many gifts, but an incredibly powerful one is the opportunity to initiate global payments, at an insignificant cost, with almost instantaneous availability. For charities spread across the world, this is an ideal mix of qualities to help fund their efforts and bring rapid relief to those impacted by natural disasters.
Cryptocurrency facilitates financial services for the unbanked, More than two billion people worldwide are considered "unbanked," which means they lack access to financial services through banking institutions. A majority are women, and most live in developing nations in Africa and Asia.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: what are the effects of bitcoin on the world economy? on: January 04, 2018, 06:51:34 AM
The term “Economy” is too broad, It encompasses all activity related to production, consumption and trade of goods and services in a country. So to trade you need a convenient medium of exchange that is currency and to issue a currency you need a trusted party like government and central bank. That’s where Bitcoin is challenging the traditional methods.

Bitcoin definitely has created many parallel economies, It has potential to throw some big companies out of the business. It may serve as an alternate medium of exchange for countries in future....
5  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if we use a one currency only? on: January 03, 2018, 10:05:23 AM
There would be a little something for everyone with a global currency. Developed nations would certainly benefit since there would no longer be currency risk in international trade. In addition, there would be somewhat of a leveling of the global playing field, since nations like China could no longer use currency exchange as a means to make their goods cheaper on the global market.

As an example, many point to Germany as being one of the big winners in the introduction of the euro. Large German firms, which were already some of the most dominant in the world, suddenly had an even playing field. Southern European nations began to demand more German goods, and all of this new money coming into Germany led to considerable prosperity.

Highly successful investors are proactive learners:
The first characteristic of highly successful investors is that they are proactive learners. They spend more time studying than the average investors. They are also voracious readers. Successful investors know that their cup of knowledge must never be full so they always keep their minds open; ever ready to learn.
Successful investors know that there are always two sides to an investment. They know that the future is unpredictable so they prepare in advance for it. Average investors try to predict the future of their investments,  they prepare for the best while still preparing for the worst.
7  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to choose good coin!? on: January 03, 2018, 08:26:31 AM
Know what the coins are for:

Integral to ICOs are the coins or tokens themselves. Aside from functioning as the form of security (similar to stocks in traditional investments or initial public offerings), these coins often have other functions with the platform or ecosystem.

Filecoin, for example, offers a decentralized file storage solution. Users with spare computing resources can rent out these out and earn Filecoin tokens in the process. These token can be used within the platform or be later exchanged to fiat currency or popular cryptocurrencies such as bitcoin and ether.

Keep in mind that not all commodities (digital and real) may be ready to be tokenized and traded digitally like bitcoin. If the market isn’t ready, it will ultimately affect the venture and the value of their token.

10  Economy / Economics / Re: Electronic Money vs. Physical Money on: January 02, 2018, 08:04:51 AM
In these times I choose electronic money because I don't spend them so fast like physical money , and another reason for which I love this type of currency it is about the way that you earn them because you can earn them laying in the bed and make tasks, or talk on the forums. You can earn this type of money whenever you want to.....
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Good Reason to Own Some BTC on: January 01, 2018, 10:47:44 AM
...

If you are traveling and lose your credit card, but in a country that has a reasonably active Bitcoin scene, you can sell some BTC to pay bills while "over there".

This may become an issue for us.

Here is a case for having an online wallet, "travels anywhere".

The amount of transactions in the Bitcoin network is increasing rapidly. More goods and services are bought with bitcoin every day.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the use of Bitcoin increasing? on: January 01, 2018, 10:30:40 AM
Cryptocurrency is a new revolutionary type of currency. Like any other currency or unit of account, they only have value because people think it has value. Some currencies are backed by gold or other precious metals; others are backed by nothing but hot air although have value because people think it has value and use it as a unit of exchange.

The following features are the main driver of cryptocurrency price, but not limited to these.
* Energy put in in the form of electricity to secure the blockchain.
* Price of Bitcoin.
* Media.
* Investors.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and governments on: January 01, 2018, 10:09:59 AM
Bitcoin claims that “It is the first decentralized peer-to-peer payment network that is powered by its users with no central authority or middlemen.” That lack of central authority is the primary reason governments are afraid of the cryptocurrency.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to Cashout Crypto on: January 01, 2018, 09:05:20 AM
You can use peer-to-peer service such as Localbitcoins or BitBargain and sell your crypto-currency at a premium, sometimes charging more than 20% above the market price. This option, however, will take some time as you will be required to send appropriate documents for verification purposes first, and only when approved you will be able to become a seller. Also, you will need a bank account that accepts “faster payments”. The risk carried with this option tends to be moderate as you're exposing yourself to potential chargebacks....
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoins? Which is safer or more profitable? on: January 01, 2018, 08:44:56 AM
Knowing where to invest your money is more important than investing it. Bitcoin is one of the famous cryptocurrency which most of people have heard about. Apart from Bitcoin, you can also invest in Alternative coins such as Litecoin, Feathercoin, Dogecoin, Novacoin, Ethereum, Factom, and Ripple etc. Altcoin use the blockchain technology and solves a lot of problems faced in the real world.
The cryptocurrency exchanges use to show the value of Altcoin in Bitcoin, but the actual value of them happens in dollars. So if you buy a Bitcoin at $2700 and invest it in an Altcoin, you’ll get Altcoin worth $2700 and not worth 1 BTC. If in future even if the value of Bitcoin falls or increase, you don’t have to worry, because the actual value of Altcoin happens in dollars....
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will be see bitcoin as international currency? on: December 31, 2017, 10:04:32 AM
Created in 2007, the world’s first decentralized currency now an accepted form of payment in dozens of countries around the world. As more countries begin to adopt this innovative technology, it’s clear that Bitcoin has the potential to become the new global currency not tied to a specific country or central bank...
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why some country still not legalized bitcoin ? on: December 31, 2017, 09:36:00 AM
Some nations are afraid to take the plunge because of two main reasons. First, these coins are highly volatile in nature. Second, because many illegal activities are conducted via transactions using these coins...
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet is the best for Bitcoin Now? on: December 31, 2017, 09:08:51 AM
Paper wallet or other cold storage: A paper wallet is simply a document that contains all the information you need to generate the bitcoin private keys you need. It often takes the form of a piece of paper with a QR code that can be scanned into a software wallet when you so desire. By storing your bitcoin offline, trusting nothing and no one but yourself, and you have all the information you need to control and access your bitcoin, you're using the strongest "cold storage" method out there.

I recommend using a paper wallet so you have a physical backup of the private key..
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a currency or asset? on: December 31, 2017, 08:58:25 AM
Well, In the story of the evolution of money, we have come a long way from barter to cowries, coffee beans to coins, paper currency to plastic currency and the latest one on the line is “Bitcoin”. It is a “decentralised virtual currency”.
The latest proceedings about bitcoins suggest that it is a “valuable asset” rather than a “means of transaction”. While this question is open to debate..
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to eliminate unemployment. on: December 28, 2017, 09:16:23 AM
Well, I think in the presence of bitcoin will reduce unemployment, because searching for bitcoin also requires hard work and creativity, and competitiveness in bitcoin is also high almost similar to work in the real world.....
