Any reason the Gulden youtube channel has been dead for 6 months?
The English and German youtube channels are run by community members, not part of the Gulden team, so when they have free time they will do content. |

You can't compare someone like Rijk who has a full time job to other founders who can work on their projects full time. Bitvavo listing will change the course for Gulden and with a higher stable price Rijk can quit his job and put effort into Gulden.
Bitvavo have decided not to add Gulden at this time. My conclusion is that businesses in the Netherlands have no interest in adding Gulden until Gulden is already a success. Malcolm has created a lot of tech that is going to waste in the Netherlands and I am sad to say this but Gulden should go international and start with the asian markets who will appreciate witnessing and cpu mining far more then my Dutch counterparts will. After 7 years of Dutch citizens not embracing Gulden... well they can't complain if they miss out. Really fuck them if they complain when the price is high and other countries citizens own more Gulden, they had more then enough time. Bookmark this post for future complainers. Does all the funding go to the dev trough? Well played devs well played... I will paste my nlg address for a refund. Without the reward change and this news the devs would of quit due to lack of funding. The reward change saved this coin from a rank > 2500 on cmc. It was ranking > 1600 before the reward change announcement. Don't worry in another 8 years it will get better, keep the faith. The reward change was good but please no more reward changes. To add some perspective to this FUD, dogecoin produces 14.4 million coins in 24hrs. 50% more then Gulden in slightly under 4 months.
Edit: 10 times the price of Gulden too.

Since bittrex is asking KYC for all levels of traders, this may hinder some of your followers to trade your coin in that exchange. But I saw that you are also trading in yobit, but some users are not comfortable using that exchange. So hopefully, we will see this coin to a more user friendly and reputable exchange, no KYC (if you are trading below 2-3 btc/day). Which exchanges these days don't require KYC for all levels of traders? |

WITNESS IN PHASE 4: THE CHANGES (ENGLISH)
When phase 4 is released, it will bring new functionality to everybody who is operating as a witness. In this post we would like explain what this new functionality is. (Thanks to Malcolm for the summary and Aat for the stAatistics)
COMPOUNDING OF EARNINGS
Option to automatically add the rewards you receive for being a witness to the existing locked balance of your witness account, this added amount increases your witness account weighting as if it were there from the accounts creation.
OPTIMISE YOUR ACCOUNT
The UI will provide a convenient single and simple to use interface (a single button you can press) to perform split/merge for you as appropriate without having to worry about the details yourself.
EXTEND YOUR ACCOUNT
Add more time and/or amount to an already locked account (restrictions apply)
ROTATE
You can change your witnessing key, for example in case you given it to a service like g-dash and don’t want that anymore, or have reason to believe your witnessing device was hacked, etc.
HIGHER REWARDS
Due to the decision to change the blockreward, witnesses will receive 30nlg reward in phase 4, in stead of the 20nlg one would receive in phase 3. Community member Aat created a nice overview of what expected rewards will be when phase 4 starts (based on the current witness accounts statistics, which are subject to change)

Hi Guys,
Well what a let down.
Was looking forward to the new algo, BUT after 12 hours solid mining 8c/16t my peak speed is 8MH/s,, but drops to 10kh/s....
No other tasks running, and sysmon reports 98% dedicated to gulden.
So basically 12 hours later not one block.
Considering the diff is low, and nethash is low, this will only get much worse....completely pointless.
Clearly the random drops in hash need looking into, and without someform of pool, total fail.
Shame...was really looking forward to this.

Update....
So, finally won 2 blocks, first 1 is confirming (27 out of 101), 2nd one i had for about 20 mins, then is says non-accpeted....WTF (Status: 0/unconfirmed, not in memory pool).
OH, and in the last hour or two, the hashrate has jumped from 120mhs to over 680mhs.....hmm, i suspect some one has a gpu miner, or a server farm.....
Like i said, completely pointless upgrade without a pool and support.....
What does the memory slider even do? Has zero effect on hashrate on my Ryzen
Oh, and with 92% cpu, my last reported hashrate has been between 140khs and 168khs for nearly 40 mins, bringing down my average to 2.67mhs, with a max of 7.26 mhs.
Hopefully some one will come up with some answers soon

I thankful price low, I left wallet open at internet cafe in Hong Kong and after 3 day I go back and all coins still in wallet with no encryption. This is benefit of low price no one wants to steal your coin.
Impossible their is no exchanges for the asian market to purchase from. This is what makes Gulden a golden opportunity for Europe to get involved with mining, majority of Europe missed out on bitcoin and they can make it up with Gulden. |

What unwanted drama, I had high hopes for Gulden to do well when bitcoin was crashing, this was the time for Gulden to shine and go against the grain. Can't we all unite for a change and see this coin get into a position it deserves to be at?

Good luck with your release. a fool and his money are soon parted , please invest all your money in this new scam you deserve it sell all your Gulden Luuk and put them in Witnesscoin, ICO's are the bomb. Who needs a working coin as long as their is MARKETING! I won't rush in and buy, lets see the plan they have but those exchanges have a lot of volume and it could attract a lot of buyers. Not only the marketing! You can clearly see it's a pump and dump!! PoW reward of ONE after 3 months. They want to own majority of the coins themselves so they can manipulate the market!! |

You are mining Gulden and all of a sudden you find out that you are not rewarded anymore...since days...because other miners did switch and you didn’t. So why wait and risk to loose rewards.
It's because the lovely developers only care about their inner circle and won't bother with the peasants outside their bubble. Sorry for the lost hashes mate! A peasant would check up on his miner every few hours ? |

I don't understand the issue here. Rijk only promised development, he can muff dive hookers in the red light district for all I care, if he is becoming rich off Gulden it's good because he can support the coin for longer.
Wouldn't he have left Gulden after December if he wasn't in it for the long term, wouldn't people in the community take him to court if he was doing anything illegal? He isn't anonymous and he has had meetups with the community, if his intention was to steal money he wouldn't be stupid enough to do this.
I get it why you don't understand it. It's confusing indeed. You see, it's not Rijk that is stupid here (on the contrary)! It's his community that has been dumbed out by a constant stream of doctrine and fear of getting banned. They simply don't dare to raise critical questions anymore or simply have stopped caring. I don't know the situation on slack besides the one sided comments of people that have been banned. There is always two sides to a story and are you sure there wasn't a good reason to ban these members? Is there proof that people were banned for these topics you bring up? |

Haha everyone that doesn't believe in Gulden now will be SO SORRY in a later date. Honestly, it's very easy to see that Gulden is amazing, just check the release notes, the roadmap and etc, Gulden has REAL value with REAL development, it's just a matter of time till all the shit coins fail and only REAL coins be valued  Go Gulden! I agree, the real coins with marketing already have a high marketcap. Gulden is the best value by miles. |
