I cannot get my btcrobot to work; I followed the instructions (copy and paste API and secret keys) and still unable to see my funds via btc-e. Seriously, hire a competence programmers for ONCE!

Thank you for your comment. While I don't appreciate the offense, the issue might be that you did not set the Info and Trade permissions on your keys. I can't assist with that on forum, contact our support to check your account.

What is the new update you are talking about?

We applied the new update 1.3 automatically to all robots including silver. There is no action needed on your part.

The update was addressing few Btc-e API changes that prevented robot from seeing the balance properly and resulted in incorrect chart dips. This is now fixed and the update is applied. Rest assured we are always working hard behind the scenes to keep the robot up to date for you!

Mine is stuck too

During the last few days I received a lot of questions, let me address it for you quickly

1. Why my robot turns off ?

That is normal and not a bug. When we do maintanance of the servers or apply the upgrades we automatically turn all robots Off for a short time to perform those updates without messing up with  the trading. Once the updates are finished, we turn robots automatically on for you. There is no need to babysit the robot or worry about it's status, the robot will be turned ON once the updates are applied

3. What if I have drawdown on the chart?

As you know Bitcoin price is very volatile. During the periods when the price of Bitcoin goes down from $1200 to 600 in a matter of hours, of course you might experience some drawdowns, which is normal part of the trading. Remember there is no crystal ball, but the robot is very effective in controlling and protecting the bankroll.

Even if you experience the temporary drawdown, let the robot trade and long term it will generate you good profits. Let it work.

4. What is your prediction for Bitcoin price movements?

The prediction is that bullish trend continues. The price is holding above the midpoint ($ 640) of the last rally and it is moving upward. There will be probably a correction before moving above the all time high at $1160, that correction could be a nice buying opportunity for who is looking for a good moment to buy. See the green arrow for possible signal

5. What is this cool indicator you are always using to predict prices so accurately? Can I download it?

Yes, that is called Bitcoin Signals indicator by Fapturbo2.0. You can download it for free here http://click.icptrack.com/icp/relay.php?r=71900537&msgid=1016951&act=9JDP&c=361945&destination=http%3A%2F%2Ffapturbo2.com%2Fdecember8.php

It works on Metatrader4. Green arrows = BUY, Red = Sell. Very easy and accurate predictions.

Regarding the inactive robots - no need to panic, we are on top of it.

There was a new btc-e API change that we need to address. The programmers are already working on it. Once it is done, the update will be applied to your account automatically!
28  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone use btcrobot.com? on: December 09, 2013, 03:31:48 PM
Let me explain little better

Sometimes due to API issues, the robot is showing wrong account balance. It does not see the money on balance and considers it incorrectly as a loss. It's not a real loss but some issue where robot cant see the funds on your btc-e account. probably they are in the pending orders.
We are looking into that.

The robot cant lose any money even theoretically. It's not a forex marginal trading. It  simply trades on BTC/USD simply changing currencies from one to another. Money does not go anywhere, it is either in BTC or USD or in pending orders. What it can lose only BTC-e commission which is deducted but it cant even theoretically "blow" accounts like Forex Robots.

Anna is on case.If you look at picture from my btce acc and few post ago copied history you will see that is very possible and inconvenient for me.

I cant identify you by forum name. We have 100 emails on support, what is your robot email to pass to tech guys to check?
30  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone use btcrobot.com? on: December 09, 2013, 01:22:10 PM
That is impossible. 23 November the BTC price was around the same as now. You could maximum lose some on the commission from BTc-e. Send us your acc details to check.

My losses is very big.It is ok that with robot graphs, but it is just nice story. On btce accounts (all three of them) my loses is more than half in $.On 3 acc had 5500$ now have 2100$.That is not because price drop but robot negative trade and lost btc.
On main acc had 3.2btc by price 1100 now i have 2btc by price 865.HE LOST MY BTC.Now i have to wait price of 1550$ to get my money back.If I let robot to do some more "PORTFOLIO GROWTH" i will have 1btc in short time and must wait then price of 3000+ so get money back.
On request for money back they give me explanation what was happened, btce api is blamed Smiley.
Btc robot team there is in public:
I AM NOT SATISFIED AND WANT MY MONEY BACK,NO EXCUSES-please

Lets not argue without point, send a support ticket to our support so they can check your account with numbers.

The robot can't lose "over 50%" it's simply not true. Sometimes it can lose small due to btc-e commissions eating some of the profit but that's pretty much it.

Make sure you don't have any working order stuck on BTC-E.  I found about $3K worth of orders that the robot could not cancel.  As soon as I cancelled them, $3K magically appeared in my account. Probably your money are stuck in cancelled orders.

How to get refund fast?My robots lost all my money and bitcoins today. If someone tell me how to attach screenshot i will post evidence from my gold plan robot and btce accounts.

This is not true First of all, there are NO LOSSES!

What you see as a loss on the chart and balance is not a loss but simply visual issue on the chart due to btc-e API problem we experience.

Your money is NOT lost. You can simply check your btc-e account.

Let me explain,

There was an issue with btc-e api which returned the wrong decimal points of the price which results in a big dip on the chart that Robot interpreted incorrectly as a Loss. that is NOT a money loss, just visual chart issue. We'll look into fixing it asap.  Some of the money could be in unfilled orders. Until orders are filled they are not on yoru balance and the robot does not see it , interpreting it as a loss. However money are still there. Wait till orders are filled

Your money are safe and not lost, you can check your btc-e account...

Rest assured the robot is safe and if you can have drawdowns they are usually minimal, it cant "blow" your account like forex robots do. It's very safe.

Crazy volatile week for bitcoin. First some controversial crypto-currency news were released by the Chinese government.

However, bitcoin continues to garner support in the US, with Bank of America Merrill Lynch predicting a bright future for the virtual currency.

“We believe bitcoin can become a major means of payment for e-commerce and may emerge as a serious competitor to traditional money transfer providers,” a report issued by Merrill Lynch said Friday. “As a medium of exchange, Bitcoin has clear potential for growth, in our view.”

Earlier this week, the US saw another big buy made via bitcoins as an anonymous buyer from Florida purchased a luxurious Tesla Model S sports car for 91.4 bitcoins ($103,000).

The BTC robot was effective in managing the big price decrease and effectively reduced the dradown comparing to "buy and hold" strategy.

Bitcoin price was more like a roller coaster this week:

During the BTC price downfall the robot showed it effectivity in controlling the bankroll and reducing the risks. With "buy and hold" your drawdown was 33% but with robot it did not excceed 20% during the same week

To take profit you can go to your btc-e.com account , convert into USD and withdraw USD by paypal or wire or any other options.

Here is long term chart. The goal of the robot is to safeguard and grow USD value of your portfolio (combined USD + BTC)

I have several gold plan robots and continuously lost btc on all my accounts.Sometimes in last two month when price go up robot is in "profit" and i turn it off,go to btce account take all but amount that i give it in beginning, turn it back on and it went to minus till next price up.

The robot is developed as an automatic hands free solution. If you turn off / on and mess with it's work your results may vary.

The hands free automatic account shows very stable and safe performance:

P>S. smrtak , I apologize for ineffectivity of our support, we will get better. We are working hard on improving our service and we are here for many years to come.

I notice from time to time there are long periods of times when the prices do not update at all. Currently for the past 2 days it just shows a flat line for mtgox/btc-e/bitstamp.

True, sometimes Mtgox and other exchanges are heavily ddosed and their api is down. Even bitcointalk was down under attack.. Such things are beyong our control. When the api goes up we restore connection and catch up on the trading!

All is fine.

After a few days of bearish trends (red arrow) we are looking at a new strong Buy signal.

The next resistance level is at 1200 and if broken we can see a very strong up trend (bullish trend) up to $1400-1500 target!

The future of Bitcoin is brighter than before.
