Three bitcoins seems a bit high.
722  Other / Meta / Re: Ban Appeal - WSBC WallStreetBetsCoin - wallstreetbetscoin account on: February 19, 2021, 12:35:11 AM
Mprep and suchmoon are two of the biggest losers on this forum.  Mprep and suchmoon are both involved with incentivized positing... look at their signatures LOL! *sigh*

It's just a shame Mprep has any authority at all here.  Thank god suchmoon is just a nobody, so I guess I should just count my blessings. Cheesy

Ignorance of the rules doesn't exempt you from them.

You should have hired Mprep for his "Bitcointalk Consulting Service". Cause that isn't sketchy at all.... Tongue!  If you would have paid him, he could have pointed out your mistake and helped you avoid the ban he was going to give you.

Imagine hiring a police officer to tell you "o you can't do that" rather than throw you in jail for 30 days! Pretty handy service!

I wouldn't lose any sleep over them and keep on keeping on.

Good luck with your project and I hope to see you on FOX or CNN someday!
723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [announce] Namecoin - a distributed naming system based on Bitcoin on: February 19, 2021, 12:18:50 AM
Its actually sad that Namecoin isn't listed on any tier 1 exchanges now. Almost 10 years old. Merged mined with bitcoin. Actively developed.

Namecoin will be around 10 years from now as well. Most other coins and projects won't. Lindy.

I absolutely agree.

Although, it seems most of the "Cryptocurrency hype" for exchange volume chasers thus far is for new projects... I think that the "old coin hype" is coming soon though.
724  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: February 17, 2021, 11:46:27 PM
I don't think it is Daniel intention is to obsfucate how it works

obfuscate

The irony... obfuscate means "render obscure, unclear, or unintelligible". Tongue

I think keeping things as simple as possible is a good route or you stand a chance at making things "obsfucated"!  Wink
725  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: February 17, 2021, 09:29:33 PM
then the commission rate would be about 238% (capped at 100%) as the bankroll is way over the target size at the moment.

Making things so complicated that it basically fucks investors is way worse than just forcing people to devest and withdraw or preventing investment in the first place.

"Starting on March 2, 2021 the commission rate is calculated by converting the bankroll to special drawing rights (XDR), then dividing the result by 55,000,000 XDR. The reference exchange rates for Bitcoin and special drawing rights will be fetched once every 24 hours and the data made available publicly."

I don't even remotely understand this Special Drawing nonsense and the best I can tell it has nothing to do with your projects except to make them so complicated that people don't understand they are being taken advantage of.

Huh Huh  So I google Bretton Wood System and turns out it collapsed just 2 years after this "Special Drawing" stuff.

Right now a new investor would pay a 2% dilution fee + 100% commission?  I think it's irresponsible to allow that to happen by design...

My understanding is there isn't commission on the dilution fee... so, new investors could only earn back their dilution fee by earning from more dilution fees generated from more new investors.  It's a dangerous trend.  (sorry if this sentence is hard to read)

I am confident that we'll see significant divestments after the new commission rate comes into effect fairly quickly, if not right before.

I'm confident that people aren't going to understand, continue to invest and you're going to profit from it.

If you want people to divest or not invested more... divest them and/or prevent investments.

Don't rob them until they say "fuck this" and bail.  That's a dangerous long-term business plan.

If you have 5000 BTC, but you only want 2500... Chop everyone invested by 50%, add it to their available balance for withdraw or play (play hopefully), then prevent investments if the BR is >2500 with nice clear understandable static fee that doesn't make your website related to fiat.

Dooglus, for example, was one of MoneyPots (Bustabit) first investors... he was divested by the website when his Bitcoins were no longer needed

The only reason to make this more complicated than it needs to be is if you want to absolutely milk the people who have trusted you and those previous to you. This stuff isn't rocket appliances.
726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: February 17, 2021, 02:08:22 AM
With all the news surrounding the increase in DOGE value and the all time high it had just 9 days ago surely there should be better wallet options out there for those looking to hold and trade.

Other than a very old Multi-Doge wallet that has not been updated for years and clients such as Exodus/Atomic Wallet - there is not much else. I would have thought something would have been made available by now.

Dogecoin core... what else do you need?

Also, all Dogecoin private keys are Bitcoin private keys too, so you can or could store your Dogecoin with your Bitcoin keys.

Trezor supports DOGE directly as well.

This is one of the only books I read.

How to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie.  How to stop worrying by Dale Carnegie.  Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.  Are the three main books I read.

Needless to say I still have room for improvement!  Grin Smiley
729  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 15, 2021, 02:09:43 AM
Sure people talk about altcoins as a way to generate bitcoins, but it surely does not seem like a sound strategy, unless you happen to be some kind of insider who is manipulating the shit.. which sure some of the altcoiners/shitcoiners do get involved in attempting to generate BTC in that way because they either have some kind of inside that they believe they will try to exploit or they believe that they are connected to some kind of inside... surely not an invest on fundamentals thesis, even if sometimes framed that way.

Did you get in on the ground floor of Howeycoin?

Spiffcoin is similar you must hit the buy button. Wink

https://spiffcoin.net/

No I did not get in on Howey...

And, I did not click on spiff either..

waste of brain power.. (or click power)

Altcurrency (Bitcoin) fags (JJG) that cry about and hate altcoins just makes me laugh and laugh!

You're an altcoiner at heart... that's why you're on Bitcointalk.  Grin

Cheers to almost $50k!!!

Someone just knocked the Xchange 42-Btc pair all the way to the floor.

And Bitcoin just topped $48k. So one 42 is worth $170k

Blood everywhere lately.
739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Doge coin is bad on: February 09, 2021, 06:56:47 AM
Dogecoin is so bad that we completely sold out for any even slightly reasonable price today.

We need more people willing to sell their Doge for anything under 300 Satoshis!

https://freebitcoins.com/xchange/market/Bitcoin-Dogecoin

DOGE to $1.
740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: February 09, 2021, 05:05:53 AM

I have been using Doge since early 2014.
There is an old qt-wallet with coins and history. If anyone is interested I can sell. Please PM.

How about move your coin to exchange and sell it on there instead asking people who interested with your doge? Everyone can easily buy it from exchange though.

I'm sure they are trying to scam, but it should be noted that Dogecoin wallets that held DOGE on May 12, 2014 then each address has 4.6 CLAMS.
